Michele Polito, moved to New York City at only 18 years old to pursue her dream of becoming a Fashion Buyer. In 2003, Michele started her career as an Assistant Buyer and worked her way up the luxury ladder over the next 13 years buying and developing product in industries such as Intimate Apparel, Designer Men’s Shoes and Confections. In 2015, Michele’s industry success wasn’t enough. Always having an eye for fashion and trends, she brainstormed an idea of HYD NYC. Using her knowledge of industry experiences in buying and product development she took a leap of faith. This leap will be the beginning of a stylish passion.
