Jun 02, 2019•33 min•Season 1Ep. 26
Episode description
On today's show we are launching our second installment of our weekly coaching calls, the first one we did ended up being one of highest downloaded episodes to date! So here's the second one!
Questions covered today:
- What type of patient do you think we should want see walking into soft tissue specialist clinics in the future? That is, where can we add the most value in keeping people healthy and slowing down degeneration? Do you think the biggest contribution from our skill-sets will be with chronic presentations, or can we also provide value with earlier stage injuries and ongoing maintenance of soft tissue health?
- Recommendation for treatment room tables. Is there any particular brand that has proven to be excellent in terms of clinic usability and comfort?
- Managing self-doubt. A personal goal of mine this year has been to back myself more and let go of self-doubt and thoughts that have probably stopped some good ideas shining through in the past. I wondered if you've encountered this sort of self-limiting mindset sometimes when finding your direction as a practitioner? I get caught up sometimes in worrying too much about what other people might think about my opinions and ideas and it becomes like a handbrake, so I have to check myself and push past it. I think this gets brought out a lot more with still being in the education system and being a rookie, but at the same time having strong opinions from my own experiences.
As always if you want to be part of the soft tissue practice revolution here's what you need to do:
