I am your host, Michelle Thames, and I am excited. You already know I get excited because today we are unlocking the secrets into turning your wealth of knowledge into a wealth of income. How does that sound for you? You heard that right. We are turning our wealth of knowledge into a wealth of income. Today I'm going to walk you through a step-by-step guide in this podcast episode on how to monetize your expertise. You know I believe in this.

Okay, so grab your no-pad because it is time to dive in now. I want to say in today's digital age your knowledge and expertise are in assets. Like we have skills that we, you know, we've worked for other people. We've worked at these corporations. We've done some phenomenal things and we have skills, project management, marketing, business, strategy, so many different skills.

But sometimes it's just we don't know how to monetize them. But that is where the magic happens my friend and that is why I'm here to help you monetize your skills and also market them because that is what I do, right? Whether you are seasoned expert or just passionate about a niche, there is a way to turn that into profit. Okay, so here's the first step. We are going to identify your niche. First things for you want to pinpoint first things first. You want to pinpoint your niche.

What are you passionate about? What do you have extensive knowledge of? I want you to remember that being specific is key. Yes, I believe the more focus your niche, the easier it will be to target your audience. But I already know that we sometimes we have different niches and that's okay. But you can be somewhat more focused, right? So then we want to validate our ideas.

Before we dive too deep, ensure that there is a demand for our knowledge, use tools like Google Trans, social media to pull your audience or even having direct conversations with potential customers. When you validate your idea and what you have, that means you are not just guessing and throwing things at the wall, hoping that it sticks. You are building on solid ground. Oh, tweet that. That's a bar because we don't want to build on guessing anything.

We want to know that our idea is validated and that someone will buy this right. So we're not just guessing. Then we're going to package up our knowledge and it's many different ways you can do that. But you're like Michelle, how do you want to how am I going to deliver this expertise? There are so many options. Listen, ebooks online courses, webinars or even one on one coaching sessions.

You want to choose something that in a format that plays into your strengths. This is what people not saying plays into your strengths and meets your audience's needs. You want to be successful and the only way for you to do that is to plan to your strengths. If you are not good at video and you know that that is not your thing, maybe that's not what you do.

Right. Maybe you do ebooks. You can write. You are excellent writer. You can put together a store. You can make it look nice. You know how to sell that. Maybe you're good at webinars. Maybe you're good at learning and knowing how to put things together and video format to sell. It is okay if you are not good at everything. I'm not good at everything. That's why higher people that are right.

But you can package up your knowledge the way that works best for you. Don't let anybody bully you into doing it their way. Michelle, stay here on the social media called the podcast right now that don't let anybody pressure you into their way of doing things when I share things on this podcast, I'm not sharing like you have to do it this way.

I am sharing saying that hey, this is the way I tried it. This is the way that I have done things that has helped me. Maybe it will help you. Maybe you'll put a spin on it. Maybe you'll turn a different way. Maybe you'll do something different. But just share valuable information. So it needs to work for you though.

So think about that. Then you're going to build your platform. So your platform is your stage. Maybe you create a website or stand store. You already know I love my stand store. So many episodes on here about stand store. Make sure that you check them out. And or landing page as a home base for whatever it is that you're doing. Make sure it's clear compelling and use it friendly. And this is where you direct your potential customers.

And that's why you stand because it's so easy. And first impressions are everything and they can go there and say, well, this is professional. Looks really nice because it is. Then you're going to market your offer marketing is where the rubber meets the road. We drive and now. So we're utilizing social media. You're doing content marketing, email campaigns and any other tools that you have at your disposal. You don't have to do everything.

But I believe in omnipresence. You want to spread the word about your offer and we want to talk about it consistently be consistent, be authentic and most importantly. Provide value at every turn. Then what you're going to do launch. We're launching and learning ready set launch launch this thing. I want you to remember that launching isn't the finish line. Once you launch is still things that we have to do launching is only a part of the journey.

Then after this, we're going to want to gather feedback because I am all about data. Be back and analyze what's working and be prepared to tweak your approach for the next time. Every piece of feedback is a gold mine for improvement. And then here's the fun part. Well, I yeah, it can be fun, but it could be stressful, scaling your business. You want to think about this. I don't want to scare you and say that it's scary, but this thought process is involved.

Here's the thing. If it's not broke, don't fix it. Once you found what works, I want you to consider how you can expand this and build upon it. Could you offer a different product, maybe scale your outreach, maybe skill your marketing channels, the sky's the limit. But again, it depends on your goals and you really have to think about that. Right. So there you have it friend, a role map to monetizing your knowledge.

I hope that was helpful. I want you to remember that every journey is unique and your everybody stories, if my story is different from your story from the next person story. And sometimes all that can help us is a little guidance that can make all the difference.
