Episode 20: Scattered Sobriety with Katie

In this episode Trina and Katie scatter thru all things sobriety! Katie grew up a social butterfly, flapping her wings from her hometown of Bethesda, Maryland up to the University of Rochester where she went for her undergraduate studies. After graduation, Katie moved to New York City and life really took off – the good, the bad, the ugly and the awesome. Pursuing a career in media + entertainment, Katie spent a year working in the prestigious NBC Page Program before moving into representation at a major talent agency. “I love being the person who connects people. Making introductions, hosting parties, bringing people together – I get such a rush from it. It’s no wonder that I really took to the party life. So much of the entertainment industry revolves around drinking. Conferences, work drinks, happy hours, gifts of alcohol, etc. After I had my daughter in 2021, things got worse before they got better but now, I can’t even imagine ever going back to alcohol. Don’t get me wrong, I had a ton of fun in college & in my 20s but there was a lot of pain with it too.
