Episode description

Why do we sleep?

This is something I get asked a lot, and the answer is that there are so many different reasons, but today I want to focus on, arguably, our most important organ - our brain.

The function of our brain related to sleep

Every second, every nanosecond while we are awake and conscious, we are making decisions, our brain coordinates with our heart, with our lungs, etc. Our brain is doing a lot to keep everything else functioning properly and just like a car produces fumes in order to function.

So in today's episode, I will talk about how our brain helps us with your sleep.
