Angie Slagle is a registered nurse, a surgical first assist, mom of two, grandmother to 2, a multi passionate individual and newly published author. Angie is an optimist and has a desire to leave the world a better place. Having a son with special needs has ignited her mission to help people find the “ability” in disability. Angie’s newly published book is called The Boy That Could. Inspired by her son who was born with a genetic difference. Andrew, who is now 16 years old and doing what doctors and therapist said he wouldn’t ever do.
