#3 Do I Need A Midwife with Natasha Cullen
Episode description
Midwives are growing in popularity in recent years but their role is still largely misunderstood.
In many countries, midwifery is or often regarded as a fringe choice as “less than” when compared with OB-GYN care. But midwifery care has benefited mothers for centuries across various cultures now.
Today, we are speaking to Natasha Cullen, antenatal instructor and founder of “Beloved Bumps” organization. Natasha grew up in Singapore, and spent time in London to obtain her bachelor of science in Midwifery, and gained experience in top London hospitals, caring for women in both high and low-risk pregnancies. In 2012, she started the organization in London to provide women with interactive and unbiased pre and post-natal classes. In 2017, she brought the organization to Singapore to benefit mothers here.
