In this week's episode, I sit down to talk to Mental Health Counselor and Editor-in-Chief of Chasing Clarity Magazine, Jojo Venant. She employs a relational and holistic approach in counseling. With over a decade of bilingual counseling experience, she cultivates a space for clients to feel known, seen and understood. She specializes in diverse areas including meaning and shame, life transitions, relationships, dating and breakups, grief, body image, pre/post bariatric, ACOA, caregivers, Alzheimer's and dementia, depression, anxiety, and healthy coping. A graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic University with a master's degree in counseling psychology, JoJo has firsthand experience navigating the complexities of prioritizing emotional well-being. Acknowledging the courage it takes to share vulnerabilities, she offers empathetic support.
