Emergency. Which service do you require? Gardie. And an ambulance. All right. What's the number you're calling from in case we get disconnected? It's 089. I've got 089... Is that correct? Yes. What's your name, ma'am? Rachel McNally. What's the address where you are, Rachel? There is no address! We went north out of Nina on N52. We turned west, I think, in Moranina and just followed the road until we came to a patch of woods.

We were camping out there when we heard someone scream in an old cabin. I thought someone was hurt. We went inside and there was some kind of... Are you all right? What's going on? Is someone hurt? My friend Lauren was hurt, but that wasn't her. Tell me what happened. There was no one inside the house.

But there was something in the basement. Is this a prank? Ma'am, I must warn you that making prank calls to emergency services is illegal and you are lucky to face custody. This isn't a prank! It sounded human, but it was... I don't know what it was. It attacked us and... Oh god, it was Lauren. What was it? An animal of some kind? No. No, no, no, no. It was... It wasn't an animal, it was... Rachel? Rachel? Shit! Shit! Rachel, are you okay? Rachel, are you still there? Rachel?

Hello? Yes, I'm here. Are you okay? I don't know. It's out of the house now. I'm back at our camp, but it's following me. I need to get back to my car. What? following you Rachel? I don't know but it's big gross and bald it has this huge belly and it waddles when it walks but it's fast too fast I think it's having a hard time chasing me through the woods, though. I just need to make it back tonight, Cara. I have my keys. I'm getting... Oh, Jesus, what is that? Rachel?

SCP-3199. Object Class. Keter. Special Containment Procedures. All live instances of SCP-3199 require two layers of containment at Site-114. The primary outer containment system consists of a sealed room with acid-resistant steel walls, ceiling, and floors, all of which are at least two centimeters thick.

Access is through a reinforced acid-resistant airlock, which requires an eight-digit alphanumeric passcode obtained from the Site Director. No less than two meters of empty space are to be allocated between primary and secondary containment. Closed-circuit monitoring is to be installed in the northeastern and southwestern corners of the room facing the secondary containment system. Secondary containment is achieved by encasing live instances of SCP-3199 within blocks of clear acrylic resin.

These blocks are to be at least three and a half meters tall and two meters to a side. Secondary containment is to be examined daily for signs of damage. Issues of any kind, such as damage to containment systems. or activity from contained instances are to be reported to the site director immediately. Two security guards with basic tactical gear and automatic weapons are to be stationed outside primary containment at all times.

All experiments on or involving live instances of SCP-3199, or its eggs, require the written approval of the Site Director. The following procedure, designated Protocol 34-22B. is to occur in the event SCP-3199 breaks containment at Site-114. This procedure attempts to quickly and safely recontain SCP-3199 while mitigating harm to Foundation personnel and facilities.

Personnel whose presence is not required to implement this procedure are to follow standard emergency protocols and evacuate to Site 113 to await further instructions. Personnel whose presence is required. are to evacuate the main facility but remain in designated assembly areas to perform their duties when needed. Once evacuation is complete,

Site-114's emergency sedative reservoirs are to be emptied into the facility by Tango 306-Alpha. Tango 306-Alpha, supported by select members of the research team. Will it secure the facility by returning escaped instances of SCP-3199 to containment? In the event that this is not possible...

Tango 306-Alpha will apply lethal force against escaped instances until the facility is secure. If necessary, SCP-3199's eggs are to be transported to temporary off-site containment within a stable water bath. Site 114 will be subsequently drained, and custodian staff will thoroughly clean and sanitize the site so that normal operations can continue. Personnel who fail to adhere to their responsibilities as outlined in this protocol will be punished accordingly.

Description SCP-3199 is a species of sapient chimera, composed of silky chicken, chimpanzee, stoat, mussel, adder, and human DNA. Instances of SCP-3199 are vaguely humanoid, hairless, and have bloated torsos supported on swollen, degenerated legs. Their flesh is pale, slick, and appears jaundiced. from a thin layer of albumin-like excretion. Mature instances weigh in at an average of 780 kilograms and can reach 3 meters in height.

The cervical vertebrae of SCP-3199 is composed primarily of cartilage rather than bone. This enables the neck to twist 340 degrees in either direction, aiding in self-defense and prey acquisition. The flexibility of the creature's neck also contributes to its ability to swallow large portions of food and their unusual reproductive cycle.

SCP-3199 are opportunistic, carnivorous hunters who prefer to engage prey within a radius of approximately 600 meters from their nests, depending on the size of their prey. mature instances may soften the tissues of their food with expelled stomach acid before unhinging their lower jaw and swallowing their meal whole. When young are present,

SCP-3199 will chase down its target at speeds reaching 25 kilometers per hour, and then asphyxiate them. Typically, this occurs by crushing them against its chest, but sitting or lying on top of victims has also been observed. Cadavers are then carried or dragged back to the nest where the creature regurgitates its stomach acid onto the body to facilitate piecemeal consumption by its young. SCP-3199 reproduces asexually via ova parody.

Instances expel large, rubbery, off-white legs via the digestive tract, esophagus, and finally, the mouth. Release of an egg is followed by expulsion of a viscous, caustic red substance thought to be a form of placenta.

SCP-3199 emits a sharp, distressing wail during this process, which has been measured at 110 decibels at a range of 15 meters. Discovery SCP-3199 was discovered near Neenah, Ireland, after local resident Rachel McNally dialed 999 in distress, claiming that she'd been attacked along with her girlfriend Lauren Green.

Local police were able to locate the area where the two women went missing using the GPS systems on their cell phones. Two cars were dispatched to their location. By that time, Foundation agents embedded in emergency services had heard about the call. Mobile Task Force Omega-19 was dispatched to investigate and arrived on site with a total of 12 armed personnel. Unfortunately.

Police first responders did not obey orders to wait for assistance and Omega-19 was unable to prevent casualties. Three police officers were killed outright. A fourth was amnesthetized and sent to hospital for treatment for severe acid burns. Omega-19 discovered three mature instances of SCP-3199 at the location. Two personnel were lost in action when the creature attacked them. One suffered extreme lacerations to the head and face.

and the other was sprayed with stomach acid. Both were pronounced dead at the scene. Two of the creatures were gunned down by MTF forces while the third was successfully tranquilized and secured for transport. During transportation, SCP-3199 overcame tranquilization and produced two additional offspring. These hatched quickly, and a further six personnel were lost regaining control of the situation.

The bodies of Rachel McNally and Lauren Green were never recovered. Addendum 1. Experimentation. Begin log. Experimentation report. 3199-echo-01 in order to evaluate scp-3199's response to various changes in its environment Director Ewing has ordered a battery of tests on the anomaly's eggs. Unlike the fragile eggs of most species, the eggs of SCP-3199 are invulnerable to most forms of trauma.

Tests indicate that viability is maintained even when subjected to pressures exceeding £180,000 per square inch. High precision blades, blunt force trauma and long-term acid exposure were also ineffective at destroying or even damaging the eggs. Fortunately. Patched instances do not share this invulnerability, so shooting them in the face is still an appropriate option for population control.

On the 20th of December 2017, one example was taken from SCP-3199 and relocated to a secure containment cell. The temperature therein was gradually increased at an average rate of 7 degrees Celsius per minute. After approximately 9 minutes, the egg ruptured violently and produced a single hatchling. Site security reacted swiftly to contain the newborn instance, but the temperature also impacted its maturation rate and the little bastard reached adolescence in just 40 seconds.

The adolescent then produced two new instances, regurgitating eggs which likewise hatched and reached maturity in under one minute. Fortunately, the test protocols put in place by Director Ewing facilitated a swift response, and all three new instances were detained quickly and without incident. We considered testing explosive and incendiary ordinance, but...

Given its established resilience and reaction to heat transfer, I feel certain we know everything we need to know about how that one would play out. At my request, further high temp experiments involving SCP-3199 have been prohibited by Site Director Ewing. You can find our Patreon at scp-pod. Okay, back to the show. Experimentation report 3199-echo-02. Environmental tests on SCP-3199's eggs are ongoing.

As per Director Ewing's instructions, one egg sample was taken from SCP-3199 on the 21st of December 2017 and submerged entirely in liquid nitrogen. of prior experiments. Security remained on standby throughout the procedure. Their intervention was not needed.

After approximately 45 minutes of exposure, SCP-3199 had reached negative 190 degrees Celsius. The egg was removed and... swear we should be making youtube videos over here anyway the egg was removed and placed under the hydraulic press It reached a pressure of around £9,000 per square inch before the eggs shattered into a billion tiny little pieces. We collected everything, put it all back into the press and crushed it all again until there was nothing left but this disgusting smelling poop.

Experiment 3199-echo-03 On the 22nd of December 2017, we analysed 10 grams of finely pressed eggshell pulp taken from the frozen and then crushed egg of SCP-3199. We were able to obtain a detailed chemical breakdown which found traces of NACRA, enamel and a currently unidentified carbon compound.

Microscope analysis suggests that the shell itself is composed of a tightly packed crystalline structure. Further experiments to seek a practical application for this material is pending administrative approval. Merry fucking Christmas, Director. End log. Addendum 2. Audio log. Interview of Omega-19 Fireteam Leader Sergeant Angel Roku.

October 28, 2017. Sergeant Rocco was prescribed regular psychiatric therapy to deal with ongoing post-mission stress. While the Foundation does not consider them responsible for the deaths of Privates McLeod and Langley, Sergeant Roku continues to express feelings of guilt for failing to protect their subordinates. The subject submitted a formal request for access to amnestic drugs in lieu of paid leave.

Dr. Ewing insisted on interviewing the sergeant personally prior to approving a request. Begin log. Sergeant Rico, reporting is ordered. Ma'am. Please have a seat, Sergeant. Yes, ma'am. This isn't a court-martial, Sergeant. You can relax. Thank you, ma'am. I'd like to discuss your recent deployment. Could you explain your mission objectives for me, please? Yes.

Director. The job was pretty simple. We were to go into this forest and look for two missing women and the police officers who were sent in to look for them. We suspected there was some kind of anomalous creature on sight, and we were given a vague description from a call made by one of the victims. We really didn't know what it was we were looking for. It's always easier said than done. You'd know better than most, Sergeant. Go on. We landed at around 2100 hours.

We'd been told that if we couldn't catch whatever it was, the next best thing would be snapping a frame or two. We were all wearing body cameras. I know you've got pictures and video, director. Why do you need me to tell you about this? You must have read the LT's reports. Yes. I have access to all the recordings taken by you and your team as well as your lieutenant's report.

You're under no obligation to review any of this yourself, of course. You were there. But I wanted to hear about your experience in particular. It's just... I'm trying to forget about it. You know? I understand. But please, go on. We found the house within the hour. It was built out of wood. But it had been worked over. repaired over the years with scrap metal and more wood. Whoever patched it up had used chicken wire in some places, making it look more like an oversized coop than a house.

But I don't think our new monster had anything to do with that. Based on the call that sent us there, I'd say that was its home though. Or maybe somebody trapped it in there. And I assume you... And today, Sam? Of course. There was nothing else to do. It was late, and I wanted to get it over with as soon as possible. I was careless. I've no excuse. I really, really fucked it up, Mum. Pardon my French.

We're all adults here, Angel. It was a shit show. Your language is perfectly appropriate to all things considered. However, I'm going to have to ask you to continue explaining what happened. Right. I had two covering the back of the building. McLeod and Langby insisted on taking point. They were fresh out of training and eager to prove themselves. I should be used to it by now, but...

Never seen a smile get cut down so quick. It knew we were there, somehow. The front door was already open. He was lying in wait. and it jumped right out on the cloud and tore the fucking jaw off his goddamn head. I can see it whenever I blink, Mum. That shit stays with you. The Foundation will take every measure in providing financial compensation to their families. Could you elaborate upon your other casualty? Angel?

The more we know, the more we can do to stop it from happening again. We barely had time to react before it turned, and just hawked this caustic spray right in Langley's face. Well, I guess the adrenaline got its hooks in me, because I put enough rounds in it to drop a fucking rhino. But it took off into the building, and just as its ugly head was about to go round a corner... Or the thing let out the most awful scream. I have a beautiful little baby boy at home, Doc. You know that. Is that?

Relevant to this discussion, Sergeant? I have a beautiful baby boy who just loves Waylon when he's too cranky to sleep and you know what? Every time he does, I think about that. scream. I can see that thing in my head. I think about what it did and then I feel like I want to bash my baby's head against a fucking wall.

A lot of nasty, terrible shit in this job. I've seen people, friends, colleagues die in horrible gruesome fucking ways, but that thing... It fucking... fucking broke me Barbara please kill them kill all of them End log. Interviewers note. I have extended my deepest condolences to the families of those lost during SCP-3199's initial containment.

Furthermore, Sergeant Rucco's request for amnestic treatment has been approved. I have submitted authorization for them to receive a targeted Class C treatment. Medical staff are authorised to see to them at the earliest possible convenience. Dr. Barbara Ewing, Director, Site 114. Addendum 3. Investigations.

A thorough sweep of SCP-3199's discovery location attempted to uncover the creature's origin. Local reports suggested that the remote woodland residence has been abandoned for at least two decades. Several items of interest were recovered, including one bag of assorted thread and needles in various colors and sizes, the bones of approximately 13 chicken,

Six of the carcasses had been plucked and the bones gnawed by human teeth. Several containers including water bottles and Tupperware boxes holding an unidentified watery paste. The paste was a deep brown in color and in the presence of oxygen. It turned viscous and hard. An A5 notebook heavily scratched by human fingernails. The words, New Breed Manifesto, were written on the front cover. Two chicken feather quills stained with black ink.

The notebook consisted of 24 pages of standard line paper, written in black ink. 19 of these pages consisted of various cuboid patterns and crude childlike illustrations vaguely resembling SCP-3199. The remaining five pages were filled with the writing of an unknown individual. Much of the written script was illegible except for one paragraph dated June 23, 1973. Begin log. If you're reading this, then lucky, lucky you. 400,000 hours from now and it'll be warm. Warm and wet and warm.

Oh, and the wonderful Versa... Vesa... versatility of inferior human DNA will birth a better era! A stronger era. one where air and food and water will be nothing but things of the past as we make and make and make more and more and more until... until... I really haven't much time! Time. That's... That's why I envy you so, so, so much. You'll have all the time you need. Time will be a thing of... Time will be... On and on, and death will be life. Life! You...

life needs things to live. Life will be a part of life from now. End log. The final page consisted of various inkblots. Thirteen instances of the word life in inconsistent sizes. Two instances of the words I want it. And the complete lyrics to English songwriter Frederick Weatherly's Danny Boy in Old Gaelic. The identity of the journal's author is pending investigation.
