Masa Sugiyama

Masahiro Sugiyama was born in Kiryu City, Gunma Prefecture. In 2005, he graduated from London Metropolitan University and landed an internship at the Asian Football Confederation.

After that, he became coach and manager at the Japanese Soccer Club (LJJ FC) in London, before returning to the Asian Football Confederation in 2011.

Masa is now the head of grassroots development in the Technical department of the AFC, and received a PhD in Sport Management from the University of Malaysia last year.

He has lived abroad for 16 years. He has spent 1 year in Australia, 6 years in England and now 9 years in Malaysia, where he currently lives.

椙山正弘（スギヤマ・マサヒロ）さん 群馬県桐生市のご出身。2005年渡英、ロンドンメトロポリタン大学大学院入学し、在学中にAFCのインターンを経験。

その後、ロンドンの日系サッカークラブ(LJJFC)にてコーチ兼マネージャーを務め、2011年よりAFCアジアサッカー連盟に入局。 現在はAFCの技術部にてグラスルーツ発展業務を担当。

スポーツマネジメント博士号（マレーシア大学）を昨年取得。

海外在住歴は16年。オーストラリア1年、イギリス6年、マレーシア9年で過ごされてきました。
