On today’s episode, Allison and guest host Kate surprise each other with stories that, funnily enough, aren’t surprising in the least if you know them. Allison tells Kate about her all time favorite plane crash story (maybe crash isn’t the right word), Aloha Airlines Flight 243. Kate then takes Allison to the magical land of Middle Earth to recount the best love story ever told: the tale of Beren and Lúthien, a story oddly similar to that of J. R. R. Tolkien and his wife Edith. You’ll laugh, scream, cry, and cry again, all in that order.
