Find people who are further ahead on the same path you’re on and ask them to show you the ropes. The people around you are either letting you feel like you’re doing great in your mediocrity or inspiring you to want more. That’s your task for next year: find the right people and dream a new dream.
There’s a place for each one but they must not be confused as the same thing. Hyping yourself up cannot have the same effect as asking God to intervene. It’s the same difference between children pointing to things they want without asking properly with please and thank you. There’s an age you let it pass and an age you won’t. Doesn’t mean the child can’t do what they like, but it can determine if they will get you to oblige.

Resist the Christmas marketing hype. You can do without that extra new dress and you will survive if you don’t go for that concert. If the trends continue, you will need a lot more money and face a higher cost of living in the new year. Let’s be rational. Or just ignore me and say YOLO ✌️

This is the context to my disagreement with the “don’t ask God to take away battles, ask him for strength to fight them instead”. I was not put on earth to spend my life fighting battles, there’s better things to do. And I will ask God for those better things.
A fun episode about cultural differences that show up in how we greet Caucasians and why that might be a problem with hilarious consequences.
This is to those of you who allow others to shake your faith. Others who themselves didn’t take their own advice but don’t want you to even try.
Just my thoughts on why some backwards movement in life isn’t always a sign of stagnancy or retrogression. I mean, cars have a reverse gear for a reason.
This draws from a teachable moment that proves you should not act believing that you will never be found out but rather, act in a way that you can justify WHEN (not if) it comes out.
No matter how well intended, nobody will give you enough knowledge to enable you challenge their control over you. Don’t celebrate crumbs when you deserve loaves of bread for the value you are bringing your said “mentors” and “superiors”. Get exposure and find your true self worth, because whether you do or you don’t, life keeps moving ahead and it is your own time being wasted.
I read an article on whether society really need gender equality or just equitable treatment? I found it fascinating as you can hear from my breathless summary. The overarching question is: “has gender equality killed chivalry?” You tell me!

This is the context for my tweet this morning. I’m sick of Nigerians selfish no boundaries and honestly won’t tolerate it any more. Your self inflicted inconvenience does not constitute a real emergency and you have no right to inconvenience others.
Following from the blog post on stereotyping young Nigerian men and the trauma that it brings, I caught up with music superstar SHNEVS for his experience on the issue.
Knowing when to fold up your business is as critical as other business decisions. This is my take on taking a step back to evaluate your business instead of swimming in despair because you want to “just keep going”
This is my take on the debate around strangers right to call people by their first names even when they object to it. My view on why this is a generational debate and what you should do going forward.
This is my sombre appeal against suicide. Don’t let anyone exaggerate your issues and make you think that the only way out is suicide. There’s nothing new under the sun and all your issues can be solved with time.
This is in response to @PetitUdy who asked “how do I charge my friends for service I used to provide for free now their business is profitable, without jeopardising our friendship?”. Simple answer: You charge them with a straight face! LOL!
In this episode I’m responding to a question on which parts of our daily lives can benefit from having written documentation or contracts.
