Affirmation vs Prayer

There’s a place for each one but they must not be confused as the same thing. Hyping yourself up cannot have the same effect as asking God to intervene. It’s the same difference between children pointing to things they want without asking properly with please and thank you. There’s an age you let it pass and an age you won’t. Doesn’t mean the child can’t do what they like, but it can determine if they will get you to oblige.
