That post workout pain you feel through your muscles is called Delayed Onset of Muscle Soreness (DOMS). Today I discuss the approach I take to managing the physical pain, but also reflect on how some people just don’t like to push into that lactic acid burning pain during a workout. Let’s face it, pain is painful! But how often do we back away from emotional pain when we should push into it. Perhaps the way your body is showing up is also a reflection upon how you’re dealing with your emotional pain.
