you Is it recording? Okay, here we go. Uh, hi, quarantiners. Today is Monday, June 1st, and you may have noticed I'm not your usual podcast host. Yeah, it's me, your new pal, Rem, here on the wrong side of the gate. I've got my own recorder, and right now I'm in Remy and Alex's backyard, which looks a lot like my backyard. Only the big tree is on the opposite side, and it doesn't have a rope swing.
Hope you all had a very nice weekend. Mine was interesting for sure. I'll get into that more soon. We need to answer some questions. Like, how did I get here? Which is a very good question. I'll try to answer as best as I can. But first, since Remy is not here, I'm going to do her shout-outs for her. Happy 10th birthday to Stella from your sister Zoe. Happy anniversary to Lori and David from Emma. Happy birthday to Melinda from your friend Melinda.
Are you two from opposite sides of the gate? Happy birthday, Johnny from Canada. Lux from your brother, Dade. Sasha Banks is 11 today. And happy birthday to Azaria and Malachi. Alright, so instead of me telling you where this whole thing went wrong, I'm going to have the producers of this show play some of the recording I was making for my podcast, Rem's Life.
Hello, listeners. It's Remy here in the attic. And if you've been following me, you know that I haven't heard from Remy since we did the old swisheroo. I'm worried about her and about what's happening over there. So, I'm gonna try going through again. I didn't tell Xander, and I certainly didn't tell my mom or dad or Uncle Gabriel. They would probably lock me in my room or something.
But I packed myself back. I made a face mask and brought some food and, well, what's the worst thing that could happen, right? Don't answer that. So here I go through the window and we'll just hope for the best, right? One, two, three. Well, that wasn't too bad. Less dramatic than last time. Let me just get my flashlight. Oh, are you serious? It's not working? Well, I... Can't go back. I think I see some light down that way. How hard can it be to find my way out?
Turns out it was very hard to find my way out. I got lost. Really, really lost. I went down the wrong part of the tunnel, and then I didn't know how to get back, and well... I went through all of my food and things were looking bad. You know the next part, but I'll have them play it anyway. Alex? Remy! Remy, it's you. We thought you were stuck over there. It's not Remy, it's me. Rem? Looks like I'm stuck too.
Well, now you're all caught up, sort of. Here I am. Things are different on this side, like the whole social distancing thing. Remy's parents are worried that I might catch this. coronavirus and bring it back to my side so i can go in the house to use the bathroom and stuff but basically i'm living in the yard which sounds a lot worse than it is
Remy's dad set up this awesome tent for me to sleep in, and the whole thing is actually kind of fun, but also really weird. Like, they're my family, but they're not my family. I know it's weird for them, too. They're being really nice, but I can see how worried they are about Remy. And me being here, in some ways, it probably makes it worse. Like, a constant reminder of what they're missing. Oh, here they come. Hey, Rem. Hey. Hi. You okay? Yeah. Remi's mom. You can call me mom if it's easier.
Can we talk to you? Isn't that what we're doing? Dad's working on a plan to reopen the gate. A plan. And you said it in a really dramatic way. I know what this is. It's the end of an episode, right? Could be. Okay, um, let me try. We'll talk about the plan tomorrow, quarantiners. But until then, I'm Rem, and this is Remy's Life. really interrupted.
