Beliefs can get handed down from generation to generation - but so can trauma. It takes a special spirit to fight against outdated beliefs within a close-knit community. Returning for another episode, Kalbir Bains (Author) follows up from talking about her wonderful book "Not Our Daughter!" to discuss wider societal issues - and what she's been doing to help prevent them. 

Kalbir talks about various cases which have had media coverage but still haven't managed to break generational ways of thinking; why she adapted her way of talking to various groups and how the results pleasantly surprised her; and what more can be done to help women in need before it's too late.
