Episode description

Relating to Self is a podcast that explores how we relate to ourselves. Joachim has conversations with interesting people to learn how they improve their relationship with themselves in order to bring positive change to their lives.

"You perceive what you are. The world appears to you through what you can experience because of how you see yourself in the world." Tells us Troy.

In this episode, our guest and Joachim discuss our perception of ourselves and how it conditions us to act. "The more I reduce my own suffering, the more suffering I reduce for the people I interact with" concludes Troy, after pointing out that we let others treat us how we treat ourselves.

Troy is a dear friend and colleague of Joachim. They've been having genuine and meaningful conversations for years now. Join them in a conversation about Relating to Self.

Troy recommends Joachim's work and in particular this meditation: https://insighttimer.com/joachim/guided-meditations/self-love-practice-gratitude.
