Seeing  a news story about a county I have history with, stirred up some old  scars. Just a few days ago Texas decided they would still use corporal  punishment in schools. Texas School District Approves Paddling as a Punishment.

Just a Regular Day at School

Back  in my youthful days at Western Plateau in Amarillo Texas, I was not  always viewed as a model student. Let me give you an example.

On  most spring days the school administration opened all entry doors  leading outside. I don’t remember why maybe we had no air conditioning.
