Encourage your children with this This morning, friends, Romans five three through five says, not only that, but we rejoice in our suffering, knowing that suffering produces endurance, Endurance produces character, and character produces hope. And hope does not put us to shame because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. What a great way to start a Friday. Huh. Remind your children that when difficulties come, and they will, it's

okay if we let those things have their way. By that meaning, you don't surrender to it. You don't you know, you just you learn from those things and it develops character, It strengthens us. Rejoice in our suffering, knowing that suffering produces endurance, Endurance produces character, character produces hope. Ten past the hour. Great way to start. It's the Morning Show with Preston Scott. This is the Morning Show with Preston Scott. All right, twelve past the hour, Good morning, It's show

fifty two twenty two. He's ose, I'm Preston Day thirteen to ten of America held hostage. More in that later, but it's Friday. Where in my fsu Gear game weekend, the Knowles start the season. Come on Hi in Dublin, Ireland. We will take over that that stadium that I boy, if only they could have brought Osceola Renegade. But the Marching Chiefs will be there and so that'll be a

lot of fun. Remember the the pregame ten o'clock Eastern, nine o'clock Central, and you can hear the pregame here in Tallahassee on ninety four nine TNT in ninety six five the Spear plus play by play action Jeff Colhane, William bar Nunn, Floyd calling the action Tom Block on the sideline Panama City Rock ninety four to five. That's your home for the pregame at nine o'clock eastern, kickoff eleven AM, and you can catch the play by play following.

All right. The twenty third of August seventeen seventy five, King George the Third proclaimed the American colonies to be in state of rebellion. I have a document with his signature, not with that declaration, but I have a document signed by King George sending a Scottish Man to serve on behalf of his majesty in America. In seventeen seventy seven, which is just crazy that I've got the dude's signature anyway.

Seventeen eighty four, part of North Carolina declares itself the state of Franklin, which is denied admission to the Union, now part of Eastern Tennessee. Eighteen fifty nine, the sixth story Fifth Avenue Hotel in New York becomes the first American hotel with an elevator. An elevator in eighteen fifty nine, how is that thing getting pulled up and down down? I get gravity up. I don't know. I'm sure someone

understands that. Eighteen eighty nine, a light ship off San Francisco sends the first ship to shore wireless message received in the United States, signaling the arrival of an Army troop ship. Nineteen sixty six, Lunar Orbiter one takes the first photo of Earth from the Moon, and in twenty eleven, five point eight magnitude earthquake centered in Virginia shakes Eastern States,

damaging monuments and buildings in DC. Talked about that. I've told you it's a little bizarre at this point to be talking about things that are in the history book here and I was on the air broadcasting ith talk about feeling old and because it'll happen on Sunday, just an acknowledgment of my sweet mind birthday, which will be August twenty fifth, celebrating and remembering that this weekend. My mom passed away several years ago.

Speaker 2

But.

Speaker 1

Great memories her impact on me can be found all around. Some of the foods that I cook, some of the gardening choices. I have a rose garden in my backyard that honors my mom because it's we used to grow roses and I would help her in the rose garden. So it's just a fun little thing. Sixteen past the hour, update you on the Babes, Jersey and more. Next My Heart's Radio Station. Why did guitarists musicians in general make faces? I think if I had musical talent, I would understand

the answer to that, but I don't, so anyway. Big stories in the press box will include a buddy of the radio program that not only made it onto Clay and Buck, but his question and their response statement question and their response caused Clay and Buck to release that little segment as its own little sound bite on their social media. So listener the morning show with Preston Scott makes his way to Clay and Buck and of course, being a ruminator on this program, dropped something on their

lap that caused them to go, hmmm. See the deep thinkers that participate, Hey listen and call this show part of their their lifeline information their deep thinkers. And so we will share that coming up in just a little bit. Cannot wait to share that we got Lee Williams today, the gun Writer. Lots to talk about. With Lee, we have what's the Bee Friday best and Worst? Good news, I mean, it's a packed show. The Babe Ruth jersey

we talked about yesterday. If you missed the segment Babe Ruth's Game War nineteen thirty two World Series, the point the called shot Wrigley Field, four game sweep Yankees won. It was the final World Series that the Yankees won with Babe Ruth. The jersey he wore when he pointed out there with his bat is up for auction. It's still holding at fifteen one. I suspect that, let me see here, he's got one day left, so this is

the final day. I suspect that as we get a little bit more towards the end, this is gonna jump, but we'll see. I'm gonna keep an eye on this over the weekend and we'll give you a report on Monday where it ended up. I don't know if you've seen the it's kind of an interesting little wrinkle in the world of entertainment. Francis Ford Coppola or Coppola he is. He's an iconic director, yeah, producer, writer, but really known

as a director. Godfather, Godfather Part two, Part three. I would argue Part three is kind of a waste of time. But The Godfather and Godfather Part two are just there to me. Brilliant movies. Alps now weird movie, but one probably worth watching if you've never seen it. Vietnam era kind of movie. Tucker the Man in His Dream. A lot of people never saw that movie. Jeff Bridges played Preston Tucker, and the Tucker is an automobile and a lot of people believe the Big three auto makers crushed him,

and they probably did. His cars were unbelievably ahead of their time in safety in features. I mean, just and it's a great movie. If you've never seen Tucker the Man in His Dream, you that's that's one kind of like I talked about Casablanca, Worth worth checking out The rain Maker, another Francis Ford copple of movie. The rain Makers a brilliant movie. It's got Matt Damon. I want to say, Danny DeVito's in that along with John Voight.

It's just boys. It good. It's based on a John Grisham novel, and novels written by John Grisham in the legal world are almost always based on a lot of reality and a lot of truth. Anyway, his latest movie, he hasn't done a movie in about nine years or so, maybe longer. Megalopolis. It's kind of a sci fi futurists kind of movie. Lionsgate, the movie house released in the film, had to pull the trailer because they used fake quotes

from critics. It's just weird, and I mean they used they used quotes from critics about other Francis Forcup of movies, and even those quotes weren't from those critics. The critics were asked, did you write this, did you say this about that movie? It's like no, So it's just kind of a weird little development there, and so there's big time embarrassment. I don't it's hard to say, what if any effect it'll have on the movie itself. It's not a movie I'm inclined to go see or watch or

own or rent or whatever. But anyway, just kind of a little tidbit out there in the entertainment world if you're a movie goer. And I'm a big fan of a a lot of his movies, not all, but a lot of his movies, some pretty cool stuff that he's done over the years. All Right, we got the big stories in the preast box, and as I told Hoose when we came in, we had to reshuffle a deck, so stand by. Those are next here on the Morning

Show with Preston Scott. The Morning Show with Preston Scott, thirty six past the hour, So just moment late here getting to the big stories. Jose over there running the radio program, Lee William's the gun Riter. Next hour, what's the beef in the third hour. I'm going to be careful in how I say this so as to not

offend unintentionally, because I do intentionally offend sometimes. The FDA has given emergency authorization to another set of COVID vaccines, and I've read through probably a half dozen different media writeups on this, and they're all pretending as if nothing bad happened with the first set. Now they're being very clear to not say this will stop the spread or this will prevent there, although the word prevent is in

some of the write ups. Modern Adfiser have a new vaccine that's been approved for the twenty four to twenty five flu season, and I just can only hope that before anybody gets this, you consult a doctor that has taken a broader approach to treating such things, because it cannot prevent you from getting COVID. Understand that, and as you'll hear within the half hour, there's every reason to believe that the vaccines caused more damage than COVID did

the first go round, But I'll get to that. I'll also suggest an alternative care healthcare provider as well alternative medicine. I think your best bet. I'm not a doctor. I'm just offering advice based on the experience that my family and I had the last time around. Build your immune system up, make sure you're healthy as you possibly can be, that you're taking targeted nutrients to boost your immune system naturally, and make sure you have a healthcare provider that again

is offering you a broad spec Trump of options. Connected to that is this story Kamala Harris is requiring anybody who works for her to have the vaccine. Let me say that again. Kamala has placed a vaccine mandate on her staff working on her campaign. I can't begin to tell you how indicative that is of a Kamala Harris presidency. Always remember actions Trump words, No matter what anybody says, look at the actions.

Speaker 2

Now.

Speaker 1

Thankfully. Look, Trump played a role in what happened that went bad with COVID, and the role was he trusted Anthony Fauci and put him at the head of the table. He never should have done that, but I believe he's learned a lesson that said, what could you expect Kamala to do if she were to become president? And we have another health emergency in air quotes forty minutes past the how More to come? Welcome to the Morning Show with Preston Scott. This radio program attracts a group that

I have come to label as ruminators deep thinkers. One of the regular listeners and a buddy of mine who have gotten to know through the program and through common interests, made his way through the call screening process and on the air with Clay and Buck yesterday, and in fact, so interesting did they find his question comment and their commentary around it that they released it on their social media site.

Speaker 2

You've got this guy who had a DUI, who was a volunteer assistant coach, and you have to in the state of Florida fill out an application, and if you are have a felony, you're not getting that coaching position because we actually want our coaches to be of the highest character. That's my take.

Speaker 1

Hey, it's a great take.

Speaker 3

I don't know if you had to do this, Buck, when you coached soccer, I had to do a full background check. I think I had to give a freaking thumbprints at one point to be able to be registered as a youth coach. They do big background checks. They ask you if you've ever had any convictions in your background, anything else. I think that probably would have kept Walls from ever getting the head coaching job in Minnesota, if they knew about it at all. I wonder based on

that question, whether he lied about his d UI. Because he lied about his DUI. Remember when he ran for office the first time, he claimed that he didn't actually get into the UI so did he lie on the forms in order to be able to coach high school football?

Speaker 1

I'm gonna go probably because we've seen the way he is asking. Yeah, so well done, sir. I won't out him. I won't use first or last name, although I know exactly who it is that called into the program. And I'm going to post this on our Twitter page, our ex page, our I think I mentioned maybe we should just call it twix, our twix page. Well done, sir, well done. A couple other things. The shooter July thirteenth tried to kill Trump. They have confirmed he had offshore accounts.

He had encrypted offshore accounts in Belgium, New Land, and Germany that they know of. All I'm going to tell you is, in my mind, that likely points to a conspiracy. Here's why. What's the guy working as an assistant at US? What an old folks home or something like that. I forget what he did. What's he doing with encrypted offshore accounts? Hold on, if he didn't have them and they set them up to make it look like he had them,

because that's absolutely possible. That's a conspiracy. If he had them and money was being put in by some foreign government or two or three. That's a conspiracy. So to me, the presence of the accounts is indicative of a conspiracy of some sort. That's a big story. I told you we'd get we'd find something out about that. We did one other thing. It is expected that perhaps today Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Is going to cash in his chips and

leave the table. ABC News is reporting that it's going to happen by the end of the week, and the rumor is he's going to endorse Trump. But let me quote Robert F. Kennedy Junior, and I want you to just listen real quickly here. How much of this rings familiar ruminators from things that I've been saying about the Democrat Party for years, have talked about, have highlighted, have pointed out, here's a guy who is a lifelong Democrat

Party member. Listen to the words. Vice President Harris's Democratic Party would be unrecognizable to my father and my uncle, and I cannot reconcile it with my values. The Democratic Party of RFK and JFK was the party of civil liberties and free speech. Vice President Harris's is the party of censorship, lockdowns, and medical coercion. A Party of law, fair disenfranchisement, and the coronation of its candidates by corporate donors and party elites. He is not going to play

a role in seeing her get elected. He is going to do everything he can. And oh, by the way, he has eleven electoral votes. He has eleven electoral votes. Watch for an endorsement of Donald Trump. And again, I would have zero objection of putting him over. I don't know, Department of Health and Human Services. I'm just saying forty seven passed the hour one minute late. But we're going to catch up next here in the Morning Show with Preston Scott. The Morning Show with Preston Scott, Next hour

on the program. Gunwriter Lee Williams. You can check out his work Thegunwriter dot substack dot com plus animal stories. I hope I get to both of them, but I've got one that's just gonna melt your heart. And then of course we'll get you ready for what's the beef Friday which is coming up in the third hour. Did you know? Studies come out appeared in the International Journal

of Vaccine Theory, Practice, and Research and Researchers. Scientists concluded, among other things, that the mRNA vaccine ought to be referred to as modified mRNA gene therapies, because that's what these vaccines do. They adjust and are modifying the genes. And now I'm not talking about your levies or your wranglers.

Quoting from the report, they found that the modern the modem modm RNA injections carry such a high risk of dangerous adverse events that it would be safer to catch the virus without being vaccinated than to take one of

the shots. I'm quoting from the report. The study categorizes the principal adverse events associated with the mRNA products with a brief systems based synopsis of each of the six domains of potential harm cardiovascular, neurological, hematologic, immunological, the chonological, and reproductive. The shots dramatically increase the risk of being severely ill or dying from potentially fatal conditions such as

cancer or heart failure. Inside the study, they write this leads us to consider how and why so many published papers and authorities have claimed that myocarditis heart failure shows a stronger association with star Star's CoV two infection than with the injections. This single claim is patently false, and yet it has been used to justify ongoing injections, despite myocarditis being recognized as a signal by the CDC and other authorities. Again, you can look up the report International

Journal of Vaccine Theory, Practice and Research. Nowther little did you know? So far, the state of Ohio has identified five hundred and ninety five individuals who are registered to vote in Ohio despite not being citizens of the United States. Additionally, one hundred and thirty eight at least have apparently voted in the last set of primaries, which then makes it a felony, and so the Attorney General has gotten referrals

to these individuals. So far, they have purged one hundred and fifty five thousand voter registrations that were confirmed to be abandoned or inactive for the last four years inside of Ohio. Imagine now what the potential numbers are if every state did a thorough audit dead and still voting. We documented in the twenty twenty election the literally thousands of voter registrations at one singular address in Atlanta, Georgia,

One one address. You can't tell me there are not people voting that shouldn't be voting, and you cannot tell me there are people that are illegally in this country that are voting. You cannot tell me that there's not voter fraud in this country. The polling shows it's happening. Five minutes past the hour of The Morning Show with thrust In Scott. Good morning friends. It is the fourth Friday of the month, and that means it is time the Gun Writer. You can watch read follow his work

at the Gunwriter dot substack dot com. Lee Williams joins us. Hello, sir, how are you.

Speaker 4

I'm loving the theme music Man thank.

Speaker 1

Right, going spaghetti Western all in.

Speaker 4

I'm dealing with it. I love it, love it.

Speaker 1

All right. Uh, we've been horrified by what we know about Kamala Harris and Tim Walls. It's I mean, it's Kamala is inepp. Tim Walls is horrifying. But Lee, you've written a piece lately that chronicles the real challenge that this administration would would pose to people that believe and love the Second Amendment.

Speaker 4

I have this this administration would be I mean, I said the same thing about Joe Biden. Joe Biden has been the most anti gun president in the history of the country. This administration would make him look like a piker, like a beginner. It is, it is incredible. First of all, you've got Kamala, who we all know is you know, just a couple of weeks before the debate that took Joe out, they were telling Joe to get rid of her because she's now you know, she wasn't competent to

be be as veepan. Now she's like they're treating her like a cross between JFK and Pericles. I've never seen anything like it. You know, they still don't have exactly what they want to do for gun control on their website, So I had to go to the Democratic Party platform in twenty twenty four to see where they're at. And basically the guiding principle from all this is there. If they're going to be tyrannical, they're not. They're smart enough

not to put it in writing. I mean, they're calling for background checks, assault weapon, magazine, bands, you name it. But it's what it's the stuff that's not in there that really concerns me. We took a hard look at what they've done and what they've said. No doubt in my mind, brother, they're going to go for an AR conference, whether that be through some type of executive order, of which she will issue probably more than one hundred. Joe

Biden's issued forty anti gun executive orders. She'll probably do more than that. On day one. He's already said she wants a mandatory buyback, which is a smoke screen for confiscation. The point is, I don't think they're going to just stop at Ar's present. I think they're going to go for other popular rifles. You're going to see defensive shotguns and probably some handguns on there too. They're going to try and take them all. It's going to be up to us to try and stop that in the courts.

We already know that's going to happen if they get in now. Joe Biden weaponized the ATF. I think I think Harris and m Loon Waltz will criminalize it based upon what they've done. Remember when they had the lockdown, Waltz ordered his police in Minnesota, my home state, to shoot paint balls at any residents that were outside of their home, right on their porch or in their yard. He has got no issue with ordering law enforcement to break the law and violate somebody civil rights by the way.

If you or I did that, we'd be facing aggravated battery charges. But for cops it's okay. So I think when they get an office, if that happens, the ATF is no one's going to be happer than the ATF because they've already proven more than willing they to violate

civil rights. They've never heard of the Constitution. So what you're going to see is a huge uptick in these knock and talks, and I've documented a few of them on my website where they knock on the door try and get consent, trying to scare the owner into turning something over, allowing them to search. You're also going to see them going absolutely crazy on licensed gun dealers and

law abiding gun owners. I hope I'm wrong. I hope this is all moot based on what happens November fifth, but we're preparing for it is though it's going to happen.

Speaker 1

Thank you, good good summary of the of the piece. It's how Harrison Walls actually planned to attack the Second Amendment. It's the latest piece by Lee williams our guest The gun Writer, and again you can find his work The Gunwriter dot substack dot com. Doesn't cost you a thing. You can support the work, obviously, but get the information. More to come with Lee. Next on The Morning Show with Preston Scott. Thanks for joining us.

Speaker 5

It's The Morning Show with Preston Scott on US Radio one hundred point seven Double UFLA or on Usradio double uflatanamacity dot com.

Speaker 1

He's the gunwriter, Lee Williams Lee. This is not related, but it kind of is because it speaks to the personality and the type of an administrator of this nation she would be. It's one of our big stories. It's been determined that if you want to work for the Kamala Harris campaign, you are required to have the COVID vaccine.

Speaker 4

Yeah, I've seen that. That says everything you need to know. By comparison, President Trump is looking to get all those people who were discharged from the military for not wanting to take the vaccine back, pay an apology and their job back. That they want it, if they want it. You know, it's all about control with her, Yes, always has been. And if you look at Waltz, I mean I don't think that guy is sane. Okay. The fact that he had to come out and tell the whole country.

I'm such a great shot. I'm such I'm a better shot than all of the Republican lawmakers. And I've got the trophies to prove it. Okay, my world is full of guys and gals who are pretty good shots. Okay, nobody talks about talks.

Speaker 1

About it like that, about it if they can do it.

Speaker 4

No, not at all, not at all. Guy with his M four that he carried into battle. I meaned it as a veterans. The response from the veterans community, especially we found out his challenge, challenge coin and sergeant major on there as opposed to masters arget. I've never seen anything like it. I've got I've got hundreds of hundreds of emails. Mother, that's just saying, you know, this guy's nuts. He's a baalor thief. Nothing wrong with his career. I

loved the National Guard, great honorable service. I'm kind of the guy. I don't care what you did in the military. I don't care if you wear Delta Force or Navy seal or a cook. You raised your right hand, you took the oath, you volunteered. Good on you. All service is valor ye, all service is honorable. But to claim he went into combat, and then to claim he got out as a mansarm major, and then to try and

obfuscate that. That's the worst part. If he would have just stepped up and said, look, I'm sorry, you know got the better of me. I never was in combat, never retired as a commandcar major. But he didn't, and he dug in. And that's he's the perfect foil for her, because she's she's just as nuts.

Speaker 1

But let's go just a step deeper in that. And and then I want to change gears and go to the ATF and our final segment Lee. There is every reason to be concerned that that Tim Walls is actually a literal Manchurian candidate.

Speaker 4

I agree. How many times has he been to China? I don't think we know the exact number. I know many. How many times I've been to China zero, We're talking dozens of times. The guy honeymoon there, he took his bride to Communist China. Plus he taught over there, or at least he told people here that he was teaching over there.

Speaker 1

Man, But how creepy is it that there adding anniversary was intentionally selected to honor the massacre at Tianneman square, so he'd never forget it.

Speaker 4

Yeah, this guy is beyond scary. The Manchurian candidate angle is one that should give anybody, I don't care how liberal you are, that should give you paus You should look at that. Who exactly is he going to be serving here? What do they have on Was he paying for all these trips? Was he paying for the hotels and all the all the times he went? Was he paying for his own effort? Or did the Chinese communists pick that up?

Speaker 1

Yeah? And then you look at the people that he influenced, that went on trips that he took with him, and so forth, it starts to become a little bit creepy. Lee. When we come back after the break, I want to ask you about this story as it relates to bump stocks and and broaden it a little bit because the ATF once again got slapped by you know, the Supreme Court, and and you know these rules that they keep rolling out and it doesn't seem to matter. They keep doing it.

But I want to go through the nuts and bolts of that. Next. Lee Williams is with me. We've got time to come. Final segment, thegunwriter Dot substack dot com on the morning Show with Preston Scott Iheart's Radio Station twenty one past the Hour. Lee Williams thegunwriter dot substack dot com. That's how you find his work. Subscribe to the newsletter I get when he writes something, I get it in my email box. It is a great read and we have set it time and again. Lee, the

Second Amendment protects the rest of them. Without the Second Amendment, we are like any other potential third World country out there.

Speaker 4

I couldn't agree more. We need it. Second protects the first, third, fourth, fifth, you name it. It's why i work for the Second Amendments Foundation. I'm very proud of that. We're selling rating our fiftieth year.

Speaker 1

People that have a bump stock. Now, obviously we got a bunch of listeners in Florida and they're still illegal here, and that's a that's another issue we can tie into as well. But the ATF had to back it back up a little bit on bump stocks. Tell us about it.

Speaker 4

Yeah, you said they got slapped. I think they ate a knuckle sandwich. The Supreme Court basically said ATF was wrong when they recently determined that bump stocks were machine guns. Bump stocks are a plastic aftermarket accessory or appropriate replaces the stock of your rifle. It's got a spring in it when the when the rifle fires, it recoils back, comes forward, hits your finger, so it fires quickly. But every round is fired by a pull, a single pull

of the trigger. It is not a machine gun. Bump stocks weren't an issue. They weren't an issue at all. ATF signed letters saying they were not machine guns. Then, of course there's that horrible massacre in Las Vegas, fifty eight people killed, five hundred wounded. What does ATF do? They changed their mind. Now everybody that owns a bum stock owns a machine gun, which is and you had

to register it or turn it in. So Supreme Court said, yeah, no, ATF exceeded their authority, So now they got to give them back anybody that turned in a bum stock under protest. And I'm a member of Florida Carry, which is a great pro gun nonprofity in the state. We had our bumpstock that we obtained for educational purposes. We turned it in under protest and immediately joined a lawsuit Getty's versus ATF, along with fire and policy, and a couple of other planets.

So now ATF has to give all these bump stocks back. Unfortunately, ATF being ATF, they can't do that, right. They can't just return the property that is no longer theirs that the Supreme Court said they seized and took in error. They put this ninety day burden onto the actual owners of the bumstock. You have ninety days to make arrangements to get your bump stock back, and then it'll be sent to the ATF office nearest you, and you'll be contacted when you can go and get it. Rather than

just put the damn thing in the mail. It's a piece of plastic, it is no longer a machine gun. Put it in the mail, mail it out. They can't do that because ATF, you know, they can screw up a cup of coffee.

Speaker 1

Brother, Let me ask you this, Do you think they actually have them or do you think they destroyed them?

Speaker 4

I think they got them, you know, ATF is that would be huge if they didn't. Well know for sure when Florida Carrier gets ours back, But because they're illegal in Florida, it will have to be shipped to a board member's relative in another state where they're legal, but we will know whether or not that is the exact bump stock that we submitted. But yeah, this is just part of the course. ATF criminalized after market triggers. You know, they said, oh, these triggers, they turned the gun into

a machine gun. No, no, they don't. They're gonna get slapped on that. They're getting slapped and eaten a knuckle sandwich on their frame and receiver rule. They're gonna they're gonna eat it on who is and who is not a gun dealer. They just make up the rules, and Congress has said, you know, that's kind of our job ATF. Congress makes the rules, not the ATA. They say they're rules. But brother, you violate a certain ATF rule, like possession of the machina, you can do ten years in a

federal prison. Okay, their rules have massive penalties.

Speaker 1

Lee, Let's spin this now to Florida. What needs to happen or what might be happening, and perhaps you can't even talk about it. Maybe they're lawmakers behind the scenes willing to front this to roll back the repeal of bump stocks in Florida.

Speaker 4

It'll happen, It'll happen. Eventually. I know there's a couple of lawmakers that want want to clean that up. Quite frankly, I know right now most of us are concerned about open kerry and Florida right you have gun on our of America have filed suit to get that repealed so we can carry firearm and not concealed. A lot of people they will all never open carry. Well, you know, the Second Amendment is not prevocated upon what you or

I would do or how we would carry. If it was, everybody would be carrying a staccato Sea two, my favorite pistol. But I digress. So we want to get open carry here because it is a major part of the right to keep in bare arms. That's the biggest, the biggest thing right now facing Florida.

Speaker 1

Yeah, it's not. It's not unlike almost any other civil right, like, for example, free speech. There are a lot of things I'm not gonna say, but it doesn't mean I can't say.

Speaker 4

Them, right exactly. Great point. Uh, and we're seeing that, you know, once people understand what open carry is all about, because right now in Florida, you can only carry openly if you're fishing or camping or hunting or on.

Speaker 1

Your way to the gun range exactly. All be changed, all right?

Speaker 2

Uh?

Speaker 1

Do you have hopes that the will go we'll get to full constitutional carry in the next legislative session.

Speaker 6

I do.

Speaker 4

It depends on the Sheriff's Association, and we are talking to folks right now. The Florida Shriff's Association is very powerful and they have come out against this. I think we'll have good people in charge of the House in the Senate who may be a little more receptive than Kathleen Pasadomoo's because she took her marching orders from the Florida Shriff's Association, and we will be lobbying them and educating them as we should.

Speaker 1

May I ask, are you pulling the individual sheriffs versus just their head? We will be nice. We will be because I suspect the majority is not in favor of the position the association is taken.

Speaker 4

The association can be very liberal, yep, and this is Florida.

Speaker 1

Yep. I think you're going to find the majority of sheriffs are in favor of open carry. All right, Lee, you're the man.

Speaker 4

Thank you brother, anytime. Take care.

Speaker 1

Lee Williams thegunriter dot substack dot com on the Morning Show with Preston Scott.

Speaker 5

It's the m a D Radio Network where we challenge you to make a difference in your world with the Morning Show Preston Scott.

Speaker 1

Hey Van, thanks for calling into the Morning Show. Appreciate you reaching out. Who's a passed along your thoughts on the dui? Tim Walls, I think it does matter because it shows a pattern of lying throughout his political career. It shows a pattern of deception and it continues. It continues with the whole carrying a gun into battle, it continues into his claims on with stolen valor. It it's a it's a I think it reveals that this is a character flaw that exists deep inside of him that

has not been exercised from him. So I did agree with your take on that. I also can tell you that you are wrong factually on carrying a gun to the range. Watching somebody get arrested at a Walmart is not while you're in your vehicle on your way to the range. You're stopping and shopping. You can't open carry in Florida. That's not what we're talking about. You're not

on your way to the range, You're at Walmart. I'm saying, if you get in your car and you don't have your your your firearm in a glove box or in a lock box or concealed on your person, and it were on your side, and you're in your vehicle driving to the gun range, you are allowed to carry that way. That's what I'm telling you. So, but I appreciate you calling in. Always feel free or just write me Preston at iHeartRadio dot com. Big stories in the press box.

The Trump shooter had encrypted accounts. Uh oh, they have determined. Congressman Michael Waltz was the first one to broach the subject. A little follow up. We've been wondering, where's the follow up to this? He has overseas accounts in Belgium, New Zealand, and Germany, and the FBI has already disclosed that he used encrypted messaging applications. So what's that about. What's a nineteen year old who's healthcare aid need that? Now that doesn't mean he's not allowed to have him, but it's

highly suspicious. Okay, here's what I think. I think it's an absolute slam dunk indicator of a conspiracy. Now here's why I say that. It could be those aren't his accounts, but the federal government people that might be might not be affiliated with a John Brennan type person just saying, not saying, could dump these accounts, attach them to him, his Social Security number, whatever the case might be. And that in and of itself, let's say he didn't know

anything about these accounts. This has just made to look well, then that's a conspiracy. Because they're making him look like he's a paid asset or something like that. That's a conspiracy. If he was in fact getting some form of rudimentary payment, that's a conspiracy. So either way, my contention from the get go on this was the existence of the accounts is an indicator of a conspiracy. Second big story in the press box, the FDA has unbelievably granted emergency use

authorization to another set of COVID vaccines. I will not take time this hour as I did last hour, to explain. I'll only advise get a healthcare provider that is open to a broad array of possible treatments for COVID because this quote vaccine is not a vaccine. Remember they've changed the definition. It's a shot, it's a treatment, and the treatments may be dangerous more so than the vac than

the virus itself. Maybe. Oh, by the way, Kamala Harris is mandating everybody who works for her campaign get the shot. By the way, just real quickly, did you remember that none of the new version of the vaccine back in the day was ever released in America, only the experimental, quote authorized drug. They never went to the other stockpile. They went with the one that was under a different name and number, same recipe, different name and number because

it was protected by liability because it was experimental. Just saying remember that forty minutes after the hour, come back, we need a break. We have Animal Stories use radio one hundred point seven double USLA. Forty two minutes past the hour. What's the Beef Friday comes up in just a little bit, so start formulating your thoughts. We're here for you. We're here to help you have a better, kinder,

gentler weekend. So we'll open up the phone lines in just a few minutes for what's the Beef Friday?

Speaker 5

In the wild or in our homes? We love them critters large and small. Time for another edition of Animal Stories. The Morning Show with Preston Scott.

Speaker 1

Uh you gotta love this one. Franklin County, Georgia. Story begins when the driver of the pupp bus and you've seen those shorts on YouTube and the like, they're hilarious. He's doing his rounds picking up his dogs for the daycare. Coming to a house he knew well Labrador retriever who had been attending the Keller Creek Boarding and Grooming for three years named Motley, waiting for the bus like normal, but this time he had a buddy next to him.

The owner of Keller Creek, Tyson Cash, contacted Motley's owners, said what's the new dog. Who's the new dog? Do you have another dog? Said nope, not our dog. It's astray that's been wandering around. Well, he couldn't take the risk of letting the dog on there because he doesn't have vaccine records. He doesn't know whether the dog's carrying any kind of problems. So it broke his heart. But he let Motley in, but he let the stray. Could not.

He couldn't let the stray in, and so he asked his wife, who was writing Shotgun, to take a photo and video of the stray, and they'd posted on social media. He said, I didn't want to jeopardize the other dog. So he's pulling away. Hold on, here, he's pulling away and the lab's running after him. The stray running at like, please stop and let me in. He couldn't. So they posted the video on social media about this abandoned dog, and on board the pup bus was another yellow lab

or a yellow lab named Nelly. The owners saw the Facebook post and it was heartbroken watching the dog run after the butts like please let me on, please, And so she posted a message on the post about the dog and said, look, if somebody doesn't claim him, I want him.

Speaker 2

And so.

Speaker 1

They ended up getting the dog that they named Whalen, brought him to the vet. He was malnourished, bad shape, ticks, flees, you name it. He had a microchip. But the other owner apparently abandoned him. And so they've converted the ownership over to the new family. And so now Nellie, who rides the pup bus, and Whalon, the new dog who's now healthy, rides the pup bus every day and they're just best friends. And isn't that just sweet and awesome?

Could you imagine driving away from that little guy? Oh, my goodness, great? But that's why we love them. They're part of the family. And so uh yeah, yeah, We've got got another animal story in the books. There one that tugs at the heart. Forty six minutes after the hour, come back, get you ready for what's the beef? And I'll get you ready. Trust me, stay with us. It's Morning Show with Preston Scott.

Speaker 5

The Morning Show with Preston Scott on News Radio one hundred point seven w FLA. All right, this is one of those segments where keep a hand on the steering wheel.

Speaker 4

Kids.

Speaker 1

When I read this story yesterday, I was so fired up. And it doesn't affect me because it's in California. And see, here's the thing. I want to be welcoming, Come one, come all, but we can't handle everybody here in Florida. We can't. We need California to come on, suck it up and be part of the union, not be a communist state. You ever heard of Assembly Bill eighteen forty No, why would you. It's past the California Assembly, which is its version of the California House.

Speaker 7

Let me.

Speaker 1

Let me quote the author of the bill, which would allow California to give zero down, no payment home loans for undocumented migrants otherwise known as illegal aliens. It allows them to secure loans up to twenty percent of a home's purchase price, or about what a typical down payment is. With zero down payment and no payments. No payments, you might say, well, how does one pay that loan back?

Preston glad you asked. It can potentially be repaid to the state when the home is refinanced, sold, or transferred, with the borrower paying back the original loan plus twenty percent of any increase in the value of the property. But there's nothing that states what happens if they just keep the home. It's free money finance by the taxpayers. The author of the bill said, and I quote, the social and economic benefits of home ownership should be available

to everyone. As such, the California Dream for All programs should be available to all. When undocumented individuals are excluded from such programs, they miss out on a crucial method of securing financial security and personal stability. They don't get that they're not in the country legally. I want any of you that think this way put your actions where your mouth is, put an ad and open up your

home to illegals in this state. Wherever you live, open up your home and put them in your home with no costs to them, no rent, no helping with the utilities, not even food. You pay for it all and let me know how that works out. This is unbelievable, and that's what the citizens of California have elected people that do this kind of thing. Now, hopefully there will be lawsuits the moment it's passed by the Senate. If it's passed by the Senate, and if Newsom has the courage

to sign it, I don't know. This is lunacy. Let's set aside the fact this is a program that's available now to people in California. Think about the stupidity of this. All of the regulations put together by the lawmakers and the governor have increased and exploded the cost of living in Florida, sorry, California, to where they can't afford to buy a home. So they create this payment assistance program to put a down payment to get a home because

no one can afford it with no payback provision. But the taxpayers have to fund that, so that taxpayers end up having to pay more. Absolute total lunacy. What do you think that'll get you ready for what's the beef Friday? Calilee Jose standing by ready to take your calls. It's eight five zero two zero five WFLA. I want to get as many callers in as possible, So think through what you want to say, be as concise as you can be. Don't fill a buster and call us if

it matters to you. Trust me. I'll even pretend if I don't think it matters to me, because we're here for you. Eight five zero two zero five WFLA eight five zero two zero five ninety three fifty two. Two lines are taken, two lines are open. What do you think? Now's the time? What's to Be Friday on the Morning

Show with Preston Scott is next. Let's do this What's to Be Friday Show fifty two to twenty two of the Morning Show with Preston Scott Jose taking your calls at eight five zero two zero five WSLA eight five zero two zero five ninety three fifty two. Whatever you want to complain about, we have two simple rules. No profanity and don't make it personal. Rule Number one is because well it's just bad form and we have kids listening. This is a safe harbor.

Speaker 4

You can do it.

Speaker 1

As it relates to the second rule. We don't want to hurt a business. If you have a bad experience, tell us what happened. Just leave the name of the business out of it. Leave things like wrecking a business to just professionals like me. Sorry, I couldn't resist. Let's go to joelus standing by waiting the longest. Hello, Welcome, what's the beef?

Speaker 6

Good morning, Preston my beef is the joy of the DNC. Two big lies that they just seem to revel in. One of them is banning books. There is no banning of any books, just keeping pornography away from elementary children.

Speaker 1

Correct.

Speaker 6

And then the second, the second big one, is this. There was a border a bipartisan border deal that was scuttled by Trump. That deal would have allowed five thousand illegals and every single day at a minimum, and would have allowed up to two million a year. It was no deal at all. But boy, they harper on those two lives all the time, among many others.

Speaker 1

You feel anything, You feel any better just getting that said, I might.

Speaker 6

Feel a lot better today too. If RFK Junior says what I hope he does, we'll see it could be It.

Speaker 1

Could be interesting, Joel, Thanks very much. I appreciate you calling that, of course frees up the line. Anticipate that. Friends, we're in a little delay, so anticipate the wrapping up of a call and that line can be yours, George, thank you for being patient. Welcome back to the program. What's the beef?

Speaker 7

My beef, Preston is I want to know why Jeremy Mattlow and David.

Speaker 1

O'Keeffe wait'sten charge. Let's remind everybody who they are. They're city commissioners and county commissioner. Jeremy is a city commissioner. David O'Keefe is a county commissioner, and remind everybody what they did.

Speaker 7

They trespassed on the construction site here in Leon County. It's the old Northwood Mall uh that's being turned into TPD and that was the reason they went. And you know, they're protests and the money being spent for TPDS new station under the guise of the trees being killed. They couldn't care about the trees and so in Florida, this is a third degree felony. Okay, it's not the first

time that they did it. Apparently it's the first time they were stupid enough to video each other doing it, and through a couple of calls I've made, I think the State Attorney's office, if it's receded up the chain, will be willing to prosecute. So we've got one commissioner of this undern ethics violation investigation in Jack Porter, and then the other two are guilty of third degree felonies and they're all of the same party. I'll say that.

Speaker 1

Present, George, thank you appreciate the call. I don't know why those that issue has died as it has. There doesn't appear to be an interest in prosecuting it, at least pressing formal charges. Maybe I don't know, but thanks for much for calling. Let's go to Ryan. Hi, Ryan, you're up. What's the beef?

Speaker 2

Hello?

Speaker 8

President, Always a big thank you to you.

Speaker 2

It just you have to me.

Speaker 8

It took the Russia's place, so I can just say you are doing a great, great job. And I'd like to step up to that guy and say, hey, he did a good job stepping up saying he didn't vote. But like my friends, when they said well I don't vote, it don't do no good, I said, well, don't say nothing. Then don't complain. You know, you got no right to say anything. Just shut up and sit down, you know, because that's the problem. You know, But that's that's the problem.

And I heard the ag and Arizona there talk on another show yesterday and.

Speaker 9

He was talking about, Hey, if everybody that.

Speaker 8

Would get up and vote that don't vote, hey, that would overwhelm the cheating because you know the other side is cheating so so much.

Speaker 4

But that's uh, that's my bea. People, get out.

Speaker 2

We got to get out.

Speaker 9

We've all got to stand up.

Speaker 6

And do something.

Speaker 8

And this is a big movement that we need to do this November and get things going because it's that that's terrible what the other size find to do those and you bring up so much, so so much.

Speaker 4

Pay attention everybody.

Speaker 8

It doesn't cost anything to pay attention.

Speaker 1

Don't thank you.

Speaker 4

Great weekend.

Speaker 1

Hey, thank you Ron. And yet it starts with voting. If you don't vote, you don't really have room to do much else. But it starts there. Thank you, Ron, Bob Lynn, John your next we got one line open. It was it's now ringing, It's What's to be Friday on the Morning Show with Preston Scott this is the Morning Show with Preston Scott. What's to be Friday, an exclusive presentation of this fine radio program for twenty two of our twenty three years. Great to be with you

this morning. I'm Preston. He's OSEA taking your phone calls eight five zero two zero five to BFLA. Let's go here to Bob, Hi, Bob, thanks for calling Inollo, good morning. What's the beef?

Speaker 9

My beef is the revelation we've received from the DNC and the participants. There is no doubt who they are. If we the people allow their victory, we will get exactly what we deserve. And don't wait to vote in November. Vote early, so if there's any problems you can correct it.

Speaker 1

Thank you, sir. Appreciate the phone call. I hope you feel better getting that off your chest. That frees up a line. Let's go to Lynn, who has been patiently waiting.

Speaker 2

Good morning, Land, Welcome, Good morning Preston, and I'm first of all, i'n't you thank you for being.

Speaker 10

The Christian you are. It's so nice to hear someone thinks of our Holy Father, God, Christ, Jesus and the blessed to love it Holy Spirit. I love it. You have that in your heart.

Speaker 1

Thank you. I thank Jesus for it.

Speaker 10

Yes, well, I thank you every day. And my grinth is those people that are too lazy to say doha guitar and they call it cutter. It's no such name. There's no cutter. It's cut tar.

Speaker 4

So I just wish that some.

Speaker 10

People wouldn't be so lazy is to not dig into that, investigate it. Why do they call it cutter?

Speaker 2

Please?

Speaker 10

It sounds really dumb.

Speaker 1

Thank you so much for calling I can explain it just a little bit. I'm guilty of having said cutter at different times because I can't find a settled pronunciation. I've heard it pronounced so many different way. My instinct had always been katar, but I kept hearing military experts and others say cutters. I don't know, but I'm gonna take your word for it, Lynn, because you just sound like you know so. Thank you very much for calling in eight five zero two zero five to be Fla John,

Good morning, Welcome. What's the beef coome on?

Speaker 4

Im Preston, Good morning.

Speaker 11

My beef is with the repetition of the advertising, some of it more repetitive and annoying than others. I just think, Preston, if you had a way that you could measure the repetition against the significance of the passage of time, I think that to be able to see there is that.

Speaker 4

Life is just too short for us to be told.

Speaker 11

Again and again and again and again by the world's largest wind bag with the world's largest ego. Then we should all be voting yes with him on amendment. That just gives me the world's largest handache every time I hear it. But again, my thief is with the repetition of the advertising, not anyone at in particular, never anything personal.

Speaker 1

John, That's really one of the most clever, well constructed beefs I've heard. Thank you so much for calling. Let's let's see here, Okay, Rich stand by Jerry as well. It's what's the beef Friday. More of your calls are coming. Next we have one more session of audio therapy, so pull up to the audio couch, settle in. The lines are about to all be taken, so we'll see if we can fit five callers in, but we're gonna definitely get all four. Next Here on the Morning Show with Preston Scott.

Speaker 4

Carts Radio Season.

Speaker 1

Twenty one past the hour. What's to be Friday? What a great way to end the week. Help you feel better, get some things off your chest. So we go back to the phone lines, Rich, thanks for being patient. What's the beef?

Speaker 12

Hey, good morning, first time caller. We have some beautiful state parks here in Florida. There's a plate that says the real Florida.

Speaker 1

Yeah.

Speaker 12

Well, now our government decided that they want to put golf courses, a three hundred and fifty room hotel. They want to destroy our state parks. They're there to preserve the naturale Florida, not to have golf courses, tennis courts, pick a ball courts and hotels. They're going to give us a chance to voice or opinion. But it's a one hour meeting and they're scattered all over the state and they're from three to four. It can't happen. We bought these parks to preserve Florida.

Speaker 1

Do me a favor, send me an email with some info on that.

Speaker 12

Okay, I will, I'll copy the different things that's popping up.

Speaker 1

Yeah, please do that, thanks very much. It's Preston at iHeartRadio dot com. Yeah, that would concern me. A little bit now if they're if they're taking the land and converting it, that that would be bad. If they're building adjacent to it, I don't know that you can do anything about that, but I would love to find out more about it. But thanks very much. I appreciate you calling in. Jerry. You're up. What's the beef?

Speaker 13

Yeahs can you hear me?

Speaker 1

I can go right ahead, sir?

Speaker 13

Okay, good sir. First of all, I just want to say thank you for everything that you do, and I wish that you came on room around twelve to three, but I love you in the mornings.

Speaker 4

It's great.

Speaker 13

But listen, a couple months ago, probably about six months ago, you had a finance guy that retired from one of the car dealerships here in town. And I remembered this, and my daughter just bought a car down in South Florida. Well, if you're in remember what your finance person was telling us. That how the banks sell the dealership the loan to the car, and they charge a certain percentage and then they turned around and up the percentage value to the customer.

So I said that to my daughter. It was funny because she had her earbuds in and she's down in South Florida. You know, she's twenty two years old, never bought a car in her life. And I said, Casey, go ahead and do this. And I said, talk to the finance person and say that you want to see what the interest rate was that the bank.

Speaker 4

That to the dealership.

Speaker 13

The guy, the finance person got really upset, left the office, came back ten minutes later and says, you know what, ma'am, you qualify for two percentage points less than.

Speaker 2

What we gave you.

Speaker 13

I'm like, are you kidding me? Are you kidding me? So your payment went down close to one hundred dollars just because your radio show. And I just really wanted to appreciate you. I never thought the dealerships would ever do something like that to the customers. Didn't even know that even happened. But I just want to say thank you for everything that you do and the knowledge that you give our community. And last things, go buck.

Speaker 1

Eyes, are you going to drop an oh.

Speaker 4

Goach?

Speaker 1

I Owe, Yeah, I'm going to do that.

Speaker 11

I appreciate you.

Speaker 1

Yeah, I'm going to do that for my wife, who's an absolute Ohiowa state Buckeye. Glad we could help. I appreciate it. Kind of a weird beef, but it was a positive sort of kind of beef that turned positive and grateful we could help. All right, we got three more callers left, and that's it, Nancy, you're up. What's the beef?

Speaker 10

Good morning?

Speaker 2

Question?

Speaker 14

I called last week, I called last Friday. I got through and brought up the whole thing about one of cackling Kamala's policies of wanting to give you know, twenty five thousand dollars for our first time home buyers, and that led me to wanting to pay attention a little bit to the DNA SEE convention and all I've heard, all I heard this whole week was abortion, abortion, abortion, and preston, if that is what this party is running on, I really think anybody who is on the side of

that party really needs to reconsider what they're voting for, because I will die on the hill of protecting not only the unborn, but the born from womb to tomb. And it saddens me that the likes of Oprah can get on national television and proclaim that if we can't have abortions, we can't go forward as women. That is absolutely one discussing. That is my beef on this Friday.

Speaker 1

Thank you, appreciate the phone call. Thank you, Thank you Nancy. Good time for two more. Let's go to Tim. Tim, you're up. What's the beef?

Speaker 4

Good morning?

Speaker 15

My beef is I guess with the customers at a grocery store here, and they got an express checkout line and people pull in there and start unloading the cartload of groceries when the sign clearly says ten items are less, and the cashiers I apparently cannot tell them no, they have to be polite to them. And then in front of the grocery store, they got three spaces for people to park bring their groceries out to them if they

can't go into the store. And I see people park there and go in shopping, and it's just I don't know if it's I think it's I guess it's society in general that just has quit following any rules, does their own thing regardless.

Speaker 1

Thank you, Tim. I appreciate you calling in. Tim, I got a roll to the final caller here. Yeah, I've been in those stores and I've seen the same thing. There are self checkouts that are ten or less, and then there are self checkouts that are for whatever. If you want to go through all that, you go right ahead. But yeah, kind of look above and the workers. You're right, they need to redirect them. Final caller here is Julie. Julie, you are it. What's the beef?

Speaker 16

Good morning? My beef is to do with this deceptive pila maneure that would serve with smiles at this week's Democratic Communist Party convention by Comrade Harris VP, puff and stuff and all the hypocritical celebrities and politicians. My father used to tell us the cold truth about socialism communism when he traveled to communist Russia and other socialist countries. He'd come back home telling us how good we have

it here in America. He tell us about the empty grocery store shells over there after the government price controls, toilet paper like sandpaper, horrible socialized healthcare systems, and citizens who had everything stolen from them by greedy governments. He turned them into permanent serfs with no freedoms left to

achieve anything they dreamed about. So all this dangerous nonsense this week about their new hope joy is just a poisonous carrot on a sickly and those who follow it to a big lie where it will be too late when they realize the ugly truth. Because socialism nably and communism and joyful. Keep praying and fighting a good fight out there.

Speaker 1

Thank you, thank you, Julie, well done. Can't add to it. Twenty eight past the hour, It's What's the Bet Friday, and.

Speaker 5

More still to come on The Morning Show with Preston Scott, The Morning Show, Preston Scott.

Speaker 1

All right, time for the best and worst of the week. Jose you are up, sir. What is your best and worst of the week? Well, my best for the week is personal. They both are.

Speaker 17

I'm finally a normal human being and I went to the movie theaters with some friends this week.

Speaker 1

You push past your fears yep, yep, yep, no masking instead of just working? Were there people wearing masks?

Speaker 10

Uh?

Speaker 1

Not that I saw, okay, but yeah, what'd you go see? I went to see Alien Romulus. Oh man, creepy, creepy yep yep yeah yeah, all right. Worst and the worst is I wasted twenty dollars at the movie theater. It's just week, yeah, now, I was.

Speaker 17

It was like rocking a skipping a throw away from being an excellent alien movie.

Speaker 1

But it's just kind of my books just fumbled the ball. Okay, fair enough, tough to do. It's a I mean, that's pretty much creepy every single time out. But yeah, yeah, I get the chills just thinking about that. That one, all right, My best of the week, I'm going with best first. My best of the week is that since Kamala Harris did not does not have any positions on her website, the Trump campaign put one together and put a website out. Trump did it. It's called and you

can look it up. It's called Kamala twenty twenty four Policies dot com. And so since Kamala was too busy to put her policies out there, the Trump team went ahead. I think that's just the best of the week for me. Kamala twenty twenty four policies dot Com Worst of the week. It was a tie, sort of. I mean, I had sitting there that Michelle Obama was lecturing everybody about the suspicious nature of the wealthy while wearing a three thousand

dollars pantsuit. I just found that to be remarkable, and as much as I wanted that to be the worst of the week, this poor son of a gun wins hands down. Thirty two year old dude on a hunting party in Anchorage or in Alaska, and he gets attacked by a brown bear. It's a brown bear in the southern part of Alaska, it's a grizzly in the northern part of Alaska. They're the same species, they're just called

different names. So this guy gets mauled by a bear, and in the process of getting mauled by a bear trying to stop it, either he or his hunting party shot him as they were trying to shoot the bear. Talk about having a bad day you're mauled by I can laugh because he's survived. He's gonna be okay. Serious injuries, both the shooting and the mauling. But you're getting mauled by a bear. And oh, by the way, I got

shot too. Imagine if you're married and you make that call to your hunt Yes, sweetheart, I I got mauled by a grizzly today, a brown bear. Oh honey, no, are you okay? I'm okay. But that wasn't the worst of it. It's worse. I got shot too. Oh my goodness.

Speaker 17

You could say he was having a bad bear day, oh man wow, or he barely had a day?

Speaker 1

I don't know. Forty minutes past the hour, Good news. Next on the Morning Show.

Speaker 5

The Morning Show with Preston Scott on News Radio one hundred point seven Double USLA or on NewsRadio double USLA Panama City dot com.

Speaker 1

Mond down the program, recap a little FSU football. Well the knowles come on? Can I hear something? Little little war chant out there? Everybody? Humh are you loose? Cannot wait, heay, do you have any good news for a kings so much? Just spell it's time for some good news. It's true, even I need a little good news now and then wouldn't it be lovely if we had just a little

bit of good news? Yeah, we tried to push everything aside for just a few minutes on Friday, and this story stood out because it just is a reminder that when stuff goes wrong, first responders come running. Most of the time, they're running too when everyone else is running from Think about that, that's what they do. Orange County Sheriff's Office arrived at a lake women trapped inside a submerged car last week. When they showed up, the deputies found a man trying to get to the car before

it sank. Notice somebody moving inside the vehicle. Can you imagine? Woman trapped inside the car could not make it out through the window as the vehicle began taking on more and more and more water, and eventually the car was entirely submerged and deputies. Deputies dove in wearing their gear,

jumped in. They were able to break the window underwater, no small task that is, and they were able to get the driver out and swimmer toshore she had suffered a seizure and passed out and drove her vehicle into the water. She's going to be fine. Last week in Texas, and officer rescued a woman trapped in a car in

a submerged pond. My point is to remind you every one of you FHP, police, sheriff's deputy, FWC, first responders, whether they're fire department volunteer, fire EMDs, parametics, their first responders and their heroes, and we have people willing to serve and that is good news. It's the Morning Show with Preston scut What a time to be alive of issue football week, the football season begins. Come on, that's yeah, okay, it's good. It's good. Fired up?
