Welcome Ruminators to Friday and the Morning Show with Preston Scott August the sixteenth. He's ose, I'm preston our verse today Colossians three, verse two. Remember we're encouraging children here. Yes, you encourage yourself by reading scripture, of course you do. But I'm focusing the for the next two weeks, this week and next week on our kids. And I'm picking scripture specifically for you to speak to your children. Colossians three to two says, set your mind on things that

are above, not on things that are on earth. Perspective. That is about perspective. You can throw a note in the lunch box of your kiddo. You can remind him God loves you. His plans are to use you in a mighty way at school. His plans are to bless you. Don't lose sight of a greater purpose. Set your mind on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. And BOYD, does that not connect to our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities

and powers. Set your mind on things above, the things of God. He's got a plan for your child's life. Remind your child God will use him or her in school, and it's awesome when kids see that happen, their faith just explodes. Ten past the hour. We're going to stay on time here because it's a spicy one today, Spicy show. Whoof this Morning Show with Preston Scott.

Speaker 2

Good morning, and welcome to The Morning Show with Preston Scott.

Speaker 1

August sixteenth. On this date in seventeen ninety, President Washington was beginning a goodwill tour of New England. His first stop would be Newport, Rhode Island, where citizens met him with booming cannons and a public dinner where dignitaries gave quoting thirteen toasts abounding with patriotic sentiment. Warden of the Hebrew Congregation of Newport penned a letter welcoming the President

to the city. Washington's response, written the next day, has become a famous pronouncement on religious freedom, and I quote, the citizens of the United States of America have a right to applaud themselves for having given to mankind examples of an enlarged and liberal policy, a policy worthy of imitation. Let me pause there for a second. Those were the days when you could use liberals as a form of

an expression of liberty. Sadly, those days are gone. I digress all possess alike liberty of conscience and immunities of citizenship. It is now no more that toleration is spoken of, as if it was by the indulgence of one class of people that another enjoyed the exercise of their inherent

natural rights. For Happily, the government of the United States, which gives to bigotry, no, no sanction, to persecution, no assistance, requires only that they who live under its protection, should demean themselves as good citizens in giving it on all occasions their effectual support. Now it should be noted United States, which gives to bigotry no sanction. That was an ideal that was not realized at the time. It took years.

But here's the thing. The laws stated it in part, and eventually they created They had a constitution that allowed for problems like slavery to be solved. There was a way to do that by law. Sadly, bigotry lies in the hearts of men, and you can't legislate that. That's God's domain, and only God can change someone's heart. And that's why we have bigotry to this day, and we will always have bigotry because it exists where sin exists. In the heart of Man. Seventeen seventy seven, Patriot forces

route British troops near Bennington, Vermont. Seventeen eighty. British troops inflict heavy losses on the Patriot Army it cam to in South Carolina. It would be ten years later Washington does the tour we just discussed. Eighteen twelve, an American force surrenders Fort Adetois to a British and Indian force during the War of eighteen twelve and eighteen ninety eight. Edwin Prescott Patten's a roller coaster with a loop, the Loop,

which he installs in nineteen hundred. Would you have gone on a roller coaster in nineteen hundred and done a loop? Hashtag thrill sick seeker? Huh? And in nineteen seventy seven, it was on this date Elvis Presley, at age forty two, died at Graceland in Memphis. Well you very much, Hi, Hi, I've maintained and I upset people all the time when I say this. Elvis was not a great singer. It was an amazing entertainer, amazing performer, but he did not have a good voice. He was okay, he was okay.

Not once has a vocal instructor used Elvis as the model of how to sing. Trust me, trust me, I know this. No, I can't sing either. I make a joyful noise. Sixteen past the hour, it's the morning show, President Scott emails Preston at iHeartRadio dot com. Go ahead, haters, ihearts radio season. As they said to me. Now, I like Johnny Cash better. So he can't sing either, but he's awesome. I love Johnny Cash music. I love Elvis music, and if I were to pick between the two, I

would go to Johnny Cash myself. But he can't sing. But that's okay. They're awesome entertainers, storytellers. In particular, in the case of Johnny Cash, his music was just My dad loved Johnny Cash. But my dad's musical taste was so eclectic. He was buddies with all those guys on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, all the New Orleans jazz guys. I've mentioned before that he and Pete Fountain were friends.

Pete Fountain's the most amazing clarinetist ever. And then I got a note from someone who's like a nephew or a niece or a nephew of Pete Fountain wrote me because they heard me talk about their uncle. It's like it's crazy, crazy stuff. Anyway, yesterday I ended the show talking about this story. Message in the bottle, if validated, oldest ever found. The current record is eighteen eighty six A message in a bottle that dated back to eighteen eighty six thrown overboard by a captain of a German

ship and was then found. This would date back to eighteen seventy six if verified. Fourth of July weekend, this past summer, this well, this past fourth of July, New Jersey woman discovered a bottle washed ashore at Corson's Inlet, sealed with a cork papers inside. She took the bottle back to her beach house. When she opened it up and uncorked it, she quote, she said, quote, it smelled like the Bay times one million. In other words, WHOA.

Speaker 3

WHOA?

Speaker 1

Moving past the smell. She pulled the paper from inside. What she found appeared to be a business card and a handwritten note from eighteen seventy six. If the date can be confirmed, it will be the oldest message in a bottle ever found inside as we you know, I'm scanning through the pictures here that are part of this article. She she said, I love the mystery of it all. I love the research. She said, I wasn't prepared for

the smell. It was a it's there's there's like a The bottle was embossed with the name Barr and brother Philadelphia Company, operated in Philadelphia between the eighteen sixties and seventies. One piece of paper inside was a business card featuring the names WG. And J. Clem, likely a reference to a pair of brothers, William and John Clem. According to records, the Clem brothers operated a gentleman's furnishing goods company until it closed in eighteen eighty one, So again, the timeframe

is kind of zeroing in there. Second piece of paper, a handwritten note, seems to refer to a late eighteen hundred's yacht known as the Neptune. Archives from the Philadelphia Inquirer note that the Neptune was docked in Atlantic City

in the late eighteen hundreds. The yachts captain was A Samuel Gale, the woman who found the bottle and is starting to do this dog search she's She noted that Gail may have lived in Atlantic City around the same time, because she saw a map with property owned by an S. Gail Old maps of Atlantic City from eighteen seventy seven, presumably drawn in eighteen seventy six. The town was sparsely populated, the names of residents were listed rather than the address. Unbelievably, S.

Gayle was named on one of the properties. And so yeah, so yeah, it's just it's an interesting journey into history. Stuff like this fascinates me. I wish I'm commented on this before. I wish I knew more beyond my grandfather on my dad's side of the family. I know more about my mom's side of the family than I know about my dad's side of the family. But stuff like this just like random searches through history. Love it, absolutely love it. And it's probably why I have some Revolutionary

War documents in my collection at home. It's to me, it's just fascinating to have things that go back to the founding of our nation. All right, twenty seven past the hour, I'm on Time, Come on, Big Stories Coming up next, It's The Morning Show with Preston Scott.

Speaker 4

On Time.

Speaker 1

Mose can you see running the show on Time? Friday? In the program, What's the Beef comes up in the final hour, But we've got the big stories in the press box and I had to rearrange some things to make this fit. Kamala has a policy and if she enacts it, let's observe a moment of silence for our economy. Ladies and gentlemen. This is so important for you to

understand and to connect some dots. This is why the education that is not happening in our public schools and universities is so important, because what you have is you have people that are going to actually believe that Kamala putting federal first ever in the United States, federal price controls on food and grocery against price gouging corporations point number one. Since Joe Biden's taken over, the profits for businesses have plummeted. You think their margins are massive, The

facts show otherwise. The margins have dropped dramatically, which is why businesses are closing, Which is why businesses are laying off because the regulatory burdens that have been placed on businesses. If you really did a deep dive, you would find that a lot of businesses are eating some of that cost they can only go so far. If they had

maintained normal margins through inflation, inflation would have exploded. Federal price control on quote price gouging, that in and of itself states that as a matter of economic policy, Kamala Harrison Tim Walls believe that there's been price gouging going on. It is absolutely socialist, Marxist, communist playbook, and too many people don't know better. See she's just gonna just lower prices.

She's gonna make them do it. Sweet Lord almighty, we cannot collectively be that stupid, but I'm afraid we might be. Second big story New York Times headline praising Damns for reshaping the electorate. What are they talking about? US Citizenship and Immigration services as fast tracked naturalization applications for the first nine months of the year. To give you an idea, three years ago, it took eleven and a half months for the process to naturalize an application. To process a

naturalization application, that's been cut down. They're doing it at breakneck speed for one reason. Votes how many of those are illegals. It's a great question, isn't it. Third big story in the press box, the Pennsylvania Department of state just tweeted out and I quote, Pennsylvanians won't always know the final results of all races on election night. Any changes in results that occur as counties continue to count

ballots or not evidence that an election is rigged. Then they followed it up a few days later with this. This post might have caught your attention to made you wonder why doesn't PAF full results on election night. The answer because state law says counties cannot begin processing mail ballots until seven am on election day. The law can only be changed that the Pennsylvania Legislature sends a bill

to the Governor's desk to do it. They don't have a process to count mail in ballots beginning at seven am and get it done. And they're warning, they're telling you right now, they're telling you right now. Final big story in the press box. I'm showing Jose He can't see it real clearly because he's got his Chae Guavera glasses on and he's looking through a double pane of glass in the other room. And it's not a huge picture.

You know what that is. That's a picture that has come to the attention of US Representative Anna Pauline a Luna from Florida. It is a picture of the Trump would be assassin walking casually whole holding a gun over his shoulder. It's a picture of the dude with his gun just walking openly over the back of his shoulder, just hanging down outside. There's also a photo that from a video, a still shot of a police video showing him jumping from one building to the other. Don't tell

me this was not allowed. Local police are now fed up. They said Secret Service lied to them. They said the building would be covered. They did not cover it. Someone allowed this if not planned this forty one minutes after the hour Tall Just Spicy, Spicy show. It's the Morning Show with Preston Scott. It's got a note forwarded by research assistant of the radio program. FBI released the shooter, the body for cremation and scrubbed the crime scene. No

effort to examine the body caused quite a stir. Revealed a disturbing fact. The FBI released the body for cremation ten days after the thirteenth, on January twenty third, his body was gone. Permission had to be given by the FBI. Don't have a corner's report autopsy report. No one, including the county corner law enforcement county sheriff knew the body was gone until they tried to examine it on August fifth,

quoting let's see here Representative Clay Higgins from Louisiana. The problem with that, with me not being able to examine the actual body is that I won't know one hundred percent of the corner's report and the autopsy report are accurate. We will never know. Yeah, we'll get reports and pictures, but I will never be able to say with certainly that those reports and photos were accurate. Well, without my own investigation. Apparently Clay Higgins has a background that would

warrant him being able to do that. I'm guessing I don't know. Hackers meeting together. It's something called Defcon Voting Village, an annual Las Vegas conference, according to Politico, has hackers. These are people. This is what they do. They hack,

They test the limits the vulnerabilities of security systems. They have found vulnerabilities in voting machines for the twenty twenty four election that can't be fixed by November fifth by passing firewalls other security measures on the devices meant for counting ballots and confirming voters identities, and so there you go.

We're being where Look, I'm hoping for the best. I'm hoping that the numbers of people that vote for Donald Trump overwhelm the margins by which they would have to cheat to where it's just implausible because you can get there, you know, you can get to a number that cheating just becomes we can't cheat that much. You can cheat margins here and there, which is what I believe happened.

Absolutely if you look at the vote totals and you look at what you know we don't have answers for in the various states from twenty twenty, and the fact that we still have states Pennsylvania sitting there saying openly, yeah, we're not going to have results. That's that's incredible. I want to point out something new Bridge pointed out years ago.

You can be overseas. You can whip out your credit card and in a matter of seconds, that gas pump or that merchant knows if you've got the money, if you've got the credit, if you've got the cash in your account and your debit card to use your card in seconds, And we can't tally votes in a day. I don't believe it. Forty seven minutes after the hour Spicy Toultia Spicy Show, This is the Morning Show with

Preston Scott. All right, I need a little help, ruminators, those of you that live in and around the Capital City. I need someone to track down Owen Girard for me. Owen is a young man who has written a piece that I was shocked that the Tallasseie Democrat published. He said the Democrat Party has failed young Floridians like me, and they actually printed it. And he is described as a lifelong Tallassee resident and liberal turned conservative student activist.

I want to talk to this young man. Have him send me an email. Preston at iHeartRadio dot com. Want to get him on the show. I want to talk about it. I want to talk about what he wrote. I want to go through I want to understand what happened. I want to understand how it happened. Who knows. Maybe Owen listens to the show. Owen, come on, brother, Preston

at iHeartRadio dot com. I'll only point out to you that there was once a young man named Jerome Hudson who wrote an op ed on what it was like to be a conservative on the campus of Florida A and M University. Next thing you know, he's on the Glenn Beck radio program and he's interning for me. And now look at him, successful author, entertainment editor for Breitbart dot com. I'm just saying members of this team have

gone on to greatness. And while I cannot offer you an internship because iHeartRadio doesn't do that anymore, I can tell you that we can give you a platform and more than anything else, though, I just want to know what happened, how the light bulb go off or go on? Sorry, So if you know Owen Girard, have him send me a note. Preston at iHeartRadio dot com. Preston at iHeartRadio

dot com. Alaskan Airlines flight operated by sky West flight thirty four to ninety one approaching Jackson Hole Airport and the pilot admitted he was not certified to land the plane in Jackson Hole. Twinjet emberor ERJ one seventy five was diverted to Salt Lake City. This has been confirmed. It happened. It's not just a Reddit story that's myth. Landed in Salt Lake City. They sky West said it

is a paperwork issue related to the flight crew. They state all pilots involved were qualified to fly and land the aircraft. The flight diverted from Jackson Hole due to an internal administrative air and out of an abundance of caution. It said, quoting, Hey, I'm really sorry, folks do to me not having proper qualifications to land in Jackson Hall, we need to divert and so qualifications different than administrative paperwork.

Apparently it might have something to do with the elevation and that the airport has a special piloting Command pick qualification as well as an SAAT level four rating, and so they might not have had, but they should have known that when they took off from San Francisco. Right anyway, just saying wow, when we come back after the top of the hour, a plane flight that didn't end so well, Hey, I credit the guy. If he wasn't qualified to land it, he at least owned it and had to take the

walk of shame to get off the plane. Passengers all upset. But another flight didn't end so well in Brazil and it has mystery attached. If I passed the hour hour two The Morning Show with Preston Scott, my APB for Owen Gerard has already yielded some results. See the ruminators. Man, They just you peeps have connections. Welcome to the second hour of the Morning Show with Preston Scott What's the Beef?

An hour from now, Jose already perspiring, dabbing perspiration from the top of his forehead and his upper lip in anticipation of the flood of phone calls, which stresses and tests him and stretches him to his limits. We'll hear from him a little later with the best and Worst of the week. I mentioned the incident Jackson Hall, Wyoming where a pilot said, yeah, I'm and why why would you get on board the plane if you couldn't land it there? Why if you're the pilot and you're not

qualified to go, you surely know where you're going. You have to file a flight plan. So I'm like, so there's something in that story that's weird. But credit to him, he didn't do something he shouldn't have done, even though it might have been uneventful. Apparently downdrafts and things are a little bit of an issue in Jackson Hole. But I don't I've never flown there, so I don't know. And I make it sound like I've done a bunch of flying. I haven't. I've just I have soloed. I

do like flying. I'm a fan of it. I'll sit and talk to a pilot all day long. And that's why when I saw the video of the Brazilian twin prop turboprop falling out of the sky. I don't know if you've seen that video. Things in a flat spin. It's I mean, it's holding sixty p plus sixty plus, I mean passengers, they're all They all died, crew died, everybody died, and no one right now knows how in the world it ended, entered into a flat spin and just fell out of the sky. There's video of it

just fell out of the sky. Now, obviously I know things happen, but this was not a typical passenger manifest in terms of the people on board. It was a lot of your normal people traveling. I think they were flying to sell polo. But there were eight doctors on this flight, cancer doctors, oncologists, specialists. Now one guy was identified as being on that flight. He wasn't. He's alive

and well and doing research here in America. But there were eight doctors that were on their way to attend a medical conference, and I wish we were not in the place we are here in America and in our world today, where the types of things that I'm going to talk about next are plausible and believable, if not likely. I don't know that it's likely that this was the case.

It's just it's possible. What are you talking about, Well, it surrounds those eight doctors, and it surrounds why they were going to that conference, and it touches on what they allegedly were going to that conference to present. Ten minutes after the hour, a plane crash in Brazil. It made a.

Speaker 2

Sound use radio one hundred and point seven wn UFLA.

Speaker 1

Now what I'm going to share was hosted by a site called The People's Voice and someone named Sean who's a brit And I'm just going to read what he posted. And for those of you that are like, well, don't you need a couple of sources to say factually that this is exactly what happened, yes, to say hmm no, Because our federal government and the governments of this world have rewritten the rules, and not just in the last three years, four years under Joe Biden. This is decades now.

Republicans have been involved in it as well. I'm sorry. As much as I like George W. Bush, I have no trust or faith in the Bush family any more than I have in Barack Obama and Joe Biden. And what I personally know from looking at the documents of the FDA as it relates to COVID, I know the government is covering up the truth of COVID. I know that they've lied to us about a lot of things

over that entire quote pandemic. I know based on what we know now about gain of function research and the empos and I mean you you have to just finally say, yeah.

Speaker 4

We.

Speaker 1

Need to keep one eye open at all times when it comes to the government. Here's what it says in the post. Eight cancer doctors who dedicated their lives to saving others and blowing the whistle on the devastating turbo cancer epidemic sweeping the world have been found dead. The bodies of six world leading oncologists and two resident medics were found on Friday in the wreckage of a plane that plunged from the sky in Brazil and exploded in

a fireball, killing all sixty two on board. The doctors were on their way to an international conference in Salpallo, where they were set to present their findings that mr Anda and the COVID vaccines are responsible for the explosion of turbo cancers and autoimmune disease, wrecking havoc around the world Today, mainstream media are working overtime to brush this story under the carpet on behalf of Big Pharma. But the facts are damning and we're not going to let

them cover up the truth. Is it plausible that this plane was taken down intentionally? Is it plausible if they have that type of information. If this some would say third world country, I would say naw, Brazil's cool for the most part. If if you're telling me that it's absolutely plausible that researchers have been working to unravel that aren't part of the cabal that is Big Pharmaceutical, federal government, Anthony Fauci, his researchers that have been paid millions and

millions and millions of dollars. If you're telling me that it's implausible that these guys might have been onto something and their research is out there because they would have been word got out if they were going to this conference. Word got out right if they were going to this conference to present? Do I know factually? Absolutely not. I don't know. I don't know the guy who shot Trump was allowed to do it, but it sure looks like it.

There's probably more evidence to support that possibility than this. But is it plausible? Is that the links that governments and major corporations and organizations will go to suppress truth. I know that there is evidence that you were lied to all along during COVID. I know that, and I can demonstrate that that I can factually present, and I have since the spring of twenty twenty. If you want to look it up the People's Voice, it goes by TPV TPV. Sean is the guy who's posting stuff. Don't

know anything about him? Sixteen passed the hour some did you knows? Next?

Speaker 5

Do?

Speaker 1

In the morning show with Preston's Boy Now just an update. What is being shared by the People's Voice is that doctors board the flight were convinced they discovered a cure for these quote turbo cancers, these man made they call the man made cancers because they're they're being spurred by the mRNA COVID nineteen vaccine because of the spike proteins which cannot be controlled. You were told that those things leave your body in a matter of weeks maybe months. No,

they don't. Anyway, clinical trials were in the advanced stage that were going to present their findings and point to the dangers of the mRNA COVID vaccines, and so yeah, there you go. Federal Appeals Court ruling against the EPA fuel program restrictions. This is interesting because this is once again the Biden administration. It's it's agencies agency heads, in this case, the Environmental Protection Agency, the EPA, denying small

refineries seeking exemptions to a renewable fuel program. And a couple of days ago, the US District Court of Appeals in the District of Columbia unanimously found the law contrary or the exemption application process a contrary to the law and arbitrary and capricious. So they vacated it. Gone, boy, haven't we seen this before. Biden administration says, I'm going

to do this. We're going to do this atf stuff, EPA stuff, FDA stuff, student loans, and the court says, you don't have the authority stop it, but they don't. This is the definition of a rogue government. And unbelievably, we have people on our side that are voting for this. They want Kamala and Tim to take office because they so dislike Donald Trump. I'm gonna address that in a little bit because that story's gotten spicy in the last

few days with an announcement by Franklin Graham. Franklin's having none of it. And it's good to see Franklin get a backbone because he didn't have one during COVID. Hopefully he's feeling a bit of regret over that, sought some forgiveness over that. I have nothing but high regard for

Franklin Graham. He was just wrong about COVID. Then there's this story the Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton suing General Motors, accusing GM of installing technology on more and fourteen million vehicles to collect data about you and then selling it to insurers and other companies without your consent. GM's data were used to compile driving scores that should not come as a surprise to any of you. Insurers then use the data to decide whether to raise your premiums, cancel

your policies, or just deny coverage. It's been going on since twenty fifteen. This is so reminiscent of John Deere. You may remember the story John Deere. When Russia invaded Ukraine, John Deere shut down all of the Ukrainian tractors. Because Ukraine is a breadbasket wheat, wheat, wheat. A lot of people believe that that there are major companies taking advantage of the war and buying up land in Ukraine that'll be used to harvest their wheat, to grow and harvest

their wheat. But John Deere had software installed in these in these tractors that allowed them to shut them down. And then it was discovered that software is in all of their modern heavy equipment. Why because in essence, no one owns a tractor that John Deere sells. The story goes that you have to agree to the data gathering that John Deere installs into the tractors, and if they if you don't agree to giving them the data, they

just shut down your attractor remotely. Now, that's that's been a story that's been around for a couple of years now, So this is this is no different. This has probably preceded that technology being watched and your data being sold without your permission. Twenty seven minutes after the hour, Big stories in the press box. Next in the Morning Show with Preston Scott.

Speaker 2

It's the Morning Show with Preston Scott. What's the beef coming up? In just a little bits.

Speaker 1

The call screener opened up and ready to go. We wait all week. I've got email beefs coming in. I'll do what I can to get to them. It's all based on callers. It's weekly presentation of this program. And clearly it's something that you look forward to because people email me saying I won't be able to call in. So here's my beef. It's therapy for the soul. You get it out. So if you're new to the radio program, we've been doing it for twenty two of the twenty

three years i've done this show. And yes, I've been here that long. I've actually been in Tallahassee longer, but i've been here that long.

Speaker 6

Well, if you're so good, why don't you why don't you go to a big market?

Speaker 1

Because I like living here and because bigger's not always better. I've just kind of left all that stuff in God's hands, and my wife and I have taken the view that God wants to. I've never been interested in being in a big market for the sake of being in the big market to stroke my ego. And I've never been interested in being a nationally syndicate. That's just that's an interest me. Now, if if this show were to be across the state of Florida, that would interest me because

I think we could do some good. I really think we could do some good. But I also know that God could be keeping me from being heard by some whack job out there that wouldn't know how to handle it properly. So I'm just saying, you know, that's just I'm very at peace with what God's doing with this program. However he chooses to expand that, that's up to him. Big stories in the press box and the Secret Service did nothing. Maybe they didn't see this photo. I don't know.

I there's a photo now that has been produced. It's in the hands of Representative Anna Paulina Luna of Florida. She's a congresswoman, posted this yesterday. It's a still shot of video showing the assassin want to be casually walking around with a on over his shoulder. The dudes carrying the rifle wh there's more video, maybe the police cruiser that picked it up, maybe the guy didn't see it.

I don't know, but there's video of the of the shooter jumping from one building to another, getting on the roof. I'm just again, it adds up to J. D. Johnson said it last week. There's so many things that were missed. It it lends credibility to the argument that this was, if not planned, allowed. Federal government naturalizing immigrants as citizens of this country at a break neck pace is how it's being described. They've sped up the process by more

than double. They're getting as many people registered so they can vote as possible. How many of those that they are getting streamlined into naturalization and becoming citizens are illegally here, that's a question no one has an answer for. And then lastly, Kamala her first plan is federal price controls. Her first economic plan is to decimate the economy by putting federal price controls on the free market. That's socialism.

One oh one, that's communism. One oh one. Forty minutes past the hour, more on.

Speaker 2

Kamala The Morning Show with Preston Scott.

Speaker 1

Remember when Kamalo has asked just a few days ago what her plan was to bring down inflation.

Speaker 7

Prices have gone up, and families and individuals are dealing with the realities of that bread costs more, that gas costs more, and we have to understand what that means. That's about the cost of living going on. That's about having to stress and stretch limited resources. That's about a source of stress for families that is not only economic, but is on a daily level, something that is a heavy weight to carry. So it is something that we take very seriously.

Speaker 1

All Right, I'm going to pause there because she said so many things. So her plan is to not address why things cost more. Guess costs more? Well, why does gas costs more, Kamala, because your boss screwed over America's energy production and you'll do worse. Why are food prices higher because of energy costs? Mandated wages, the regulatory environment in businesses, light bulbs, all of these things that you did raise the prices of everything and force the prices

to expand, i e. Inflation. So what she's suggesting is I'm just going to make them sell things for less. Here's what happens. Let's say that's the approach. We somehow get suck with first. I don't think she can do that without Congress, but let's just say she could. Let's say you people put her in position to do it. Those businesses go bankrupt because they can't afford to stay afloat.

They can't do it, So then what happens, Well, these are critical needs to the American people, So we'll step in until a solution is found in new ownership and will take control. All of a sudden, you've nationalized food, fuel, anything else. That's Cuba, that's Venezuela, that's Russia, that's China. What the heck's wrong with you people that are thinking of voting for Kamala Harris. No, seriously, you've got to you've got to be small harder than that. You can't.

And here's all of a sudden, I'm speaking to non sequitars. Finish a thought, Preston. There are people when she introduces this that are going to be holding up pre made signs extolling the virtues of stop price gouging or whatever they're going to lift up and show, when in reality, businesses have been gouging themselves. If you look sector bisector, industries have reduced their margins to try their best to

keep things modestly affordable. You know when margins were higher, when we had a strong economy and people were making more money against the price of the goods and the services. And we have people Republicans for Harris, Evangelicals for Harris. You folks have sold your souls to the devil if you believe voting for Kamala Harris is somehow a noble thing to save the Republican Party or Conservatism. The Republican Party doesn't need saving. It needs to go through an

overhaul as well. I've got a whole nother set of stories there I may not have time to go through. Next forty six minutes after the hour, we are getting you ready though, for what's the beef?

Speaker 3

Now?

Speaker 1

Aren't we the Morning Show with Preston Scott. Republicans for Harris, talk about your oxy moron that's up there with jumbo shrimp. Listen to some of these comments. This is an NPR story. Former Representative Denver Riggleman of Colorado, once a member of the Conservative House Freedom Caucus, was an advisor to the committee that investigated January sixth Insurrection insurrection. Insurrection when you see the data and you see the awful things I've seen.

You see the command and control infrastructure of January sixth, There's no way, as a Republican I could vote for anybody who's anti constitution. What the heck is he talking about? Several participants in the Republicans for Harris call said that while they don't agree with all of Harris's all, can anyone name me any all of Harris's policies? Can you

name me one? She hasn't had an official policy yet, but if she did, name me one alleged Republican that could possibly agree with one policy she has one, I promise you there won't be one that any honest conservative can agree with when Harris, when the Harris team wins and prevents the sudden death of American democracy. Stop there. That's a group called Hayley Voters for Harris, led by Craig Snyder, the sudden death of American democracy. See right there.

You know he's a pretender. We're not a democracy, We're a constitution republic. See you can if you if you'll listen as often as possible, I promise you this, you will learn to analyze what these people say, and you'll learn to know the telltale signs of pretenders. Of rhinos. We can joyfully return to arguing over marginal tax rates, in the role of government in healthcare. No, if you put Harrison office, you won't be able to argue about

any of that stuff. It'll be forbidden. Just like any contrary thoughts were not allowed during COVID, We're not allowed during global warming and still not allowed during global war. You're not going to be allowed to argue those things. This is the symptom of a pretender. Speakers also sought the casts themselves rather than Trump supporters, as the true inheritors of GOP tradition. Ronald Reagan and the Bushes. Oh,

Ronald Reagan, not the Bushes. George W. Bush, for all of the nice guy qualities that he has, was not a conservative. He started the spending spree he kickstarted Barack Obama a moderate at best, but adhering to conservative principles not remotely again, code code language. We're protecting the true legacy at the Bushes. Excuse me, have you seen what's happened to the Bushes trying to run for office. Jeb

was the last one that won a notable seat. Anyone that's tried to elevate higher, gone, listen to this, and we're gonna get ready for What's the Beef. Austin Weatherford, National republic Engagement director for the Harris Campaign, National Republican engagement director for the Harris Campaign, noted that George W. Bus should described Trump as weird. There's that word again,

that's the word. Talked about it yesterday with Scott Beacon. Weird, weird, weird, weird, weird, weird, weird, weird, weird, weird, weird. And oh, by the way, they're now running an ad using a photo of Billy Graham trying to suggest Billy Graham wouldn't support Donald Trump. Franklin Graham has come out and I'll talk more about that Monday on the program. What's to Be Friday is next? You ready? Huh? Call now?

Lines are open eight five zero two zero five WFLA eight five zero two zero five ninety three fifty two. All lines are open. Your time is now. You know the sound, It's what's the Beef Friday? Oh, come on, America, let's go. And yes, America, We've got listeners all across the Fruited Plain and around the world. If you're listening live, you can call in eight five zero two zero five WSLA who pays for long distance anymore? Eight five zero

two zero five ninety three fifty two. It's What's the Beef Friday and exclusive presentation of the Morning Show with Preston Scott. This is your chance to just get it off your chest. We have two simple rules. No profanity, because we actually have a radio program kids listen to. Yeah, they do, they absolutely do. And we also ask you to not make it personal. If you have a bad experience at a business, tell us what happened, leave the name of the business out of it. If you want to.

If you want to go after me, complain about me, that's fine. Just don't make it personal. Share what your beef is and move along. Be concise, be thoughtful. We want to get as many callers in as possible. George has been waiting very very patiently. Good morning, my friend, welcome, what's the beef?

Speaker 8

Good morning, Preston. My beef is that with this government price control in Soviet style crap we're going to hear today. Isn't it funny that price gouging and greedy corporations don't exist when Republicans are When Trump was in office, but they only raise their ugly heads when Democrats are running the government into the ground or when they're running for office, So it's funny. They just greedy corporations and price gouging.

I didn't see any of it during Trump's tenure in office, and all of a sudden, since Joe Biden and Kamala Harrison run the country into the ground, it's price gouging and greedy corporations.

Speaker 4

I just can't.

Speaker 8

I don't understand it, Preston.

Speaker 1

But Georgie, it's consistent. We blame the Democrats, not we. Democrats blame the gun, not the person responsible. They blame the business, the evil corporations, not the things that cause corporations to have to do what they do.

Speaker 8

Yeah, exactly. And I want to throw out at just one challenge for Bob, the guy that thinks it's okay for domestic violence to be Olympic sport, to call you, but I don't think he will, is too busy with making pizzas and jumping on a fences that are trespassing.

Speaker 1

So thank you, George, appreciate the phone call. Let's go to is that supposed to be Nancy? Nancy, Good morning, Welcome to the Morning Show with Preston Scott.

Speaker 9

Good morning, Preston. I'm trying to keep my heart palpitations under control as I eagerly anticipate the Kamala Harris whatever she's having today news conference. I was reading over some of her proposed policies, and I contend someone helped me make it make sense. One of her policies is that she wants to give twenty five thousand dollars for first time home buyers if they've paid their rent on time

for two years. And although well, I don't even think it sounds good, but to those people that it does sound good, where do they think that money is going to come from? Meanwhile, she proposes cutting taxes for the middle and lower class. So who who's going to pay for the twenty five thousand dollars down payments on these homes? I just somebody has to help me make this make sense.

Speaker 1

It's not possible to make sense out of the things that cannot be made sense of. You're you know, you are horrifying people that think you're kidding Nancy. You know that, Yeah, but I'm not.

Speaker 9

And it's much easier to find her policies than it is to find anything on the assassination of President Trump because you will not buy that.

Speaker 1

Well, I'd be curious to know where you found what you found on her policies, because as of now she doesn't have any. She's allegedly announcing the economic plan, and maybe this is part of it, and maybe it's been leaked out because as of now, her website has no policies none. What's the weapon? But maybe that'll change. I haven't heard that twenty five thousand taxpayer dollars going to everybody. See what did I tell you? When you start giving

people their college education for free? What's next? Homes? Cars? We've been giving phones away, healthcare. Stu Piedro, Anthony, you're up. It's What's to be Friday? Next O the Morning Show with Preston Scott.

Speaker 2

News Radio one hundred point seven WUFLA.

Speaker 1

Eleven minutes past the hour. More of your calls. It's what's the Beef Friday? Stu has been very patient. Good morning, sir, Thank you welcome and what's the beef?

Speaker 4

Hi? Eric, Well, my big beef is much like what you were saying about George Bush. I noticed during the height of the anti war rhetoric aimed against him and his administration. He had a policy, along with condoles of Rice, of never taking on in any kind of strong manner dealing with that opposition. Verbally, I think he was complicit, and that's why he kept a low key about that.

He didn't take them on. When you realize that his father espoused the virtues of the New World Order publicly over and over again, we have to understand that the Bush family, who are heavily invested in both fuel stocks and in the weapon industry, it was a big party. It was a boys club, and now we know who the Bushes really are.

Speaker 1

I just want people to know that I'm going to add one industry to it. Education. They're heavily invested in the textbook industry.

Speaker 4

Yeah, exactly. And by the way, the thing that's going on right now is nineteen eighty four. And if you know that story, our good friend, our dear soon to be presidente mister Trump is being portrayed as the evil character in nineteen eighty four, a character, a fictitious dictator known as Immanuel Goldstein. He is being played that way in the media.

Speaker 1

Yeah. Nothing, nothing is off limits to the left. Ste thanks very much for the phone call. Let's go to Pedro, you're up.

Speaker 10

What's the beef, morning, Preston, morning Jose, Well, my beef isi and I've had these beef with this person before. Is Sean Hannity, our dear Hannity. He was referring to Caitlin Jenner the other day. She he was, you know, stating some of the things that Caitlin Jenners I said. You know, I said, she is, she did that, she was. You know, come on, Hannity, if you want credibility, if you want the people to really believe in the word that you say, say the truth, stick to the fact

that the dude is a man, not a she. Come on, Kennity.

Speaker 1

And you know what's interesting about that, Pedro, is that, if I'm not mistaken, Bruce Jenner has has told his children to always call him dad. Well, right, right, But you don't he know what I mean?

Speaker 8

Sorry about that?

Speaker 1

Yeah, well no, no, I I don't have a problem calling Bruce Caitlin. That's fine. If someone wants to call themselves whatever name they want, that's their name. I don't care. But I don't have to refer to their delusion, and I don't have to be brought into it. But you're right. Yeah, it's it's it's factually wrong to call Bruce Jenner anything other than a guy. Thank you, Pedro, appreciate the phone call. Eight five zero two zero five w f l A. Anthony, you're up. What's the beef?

Speaker 11

Hey?

Speaker 12

My beef is uh with the owners over there at road square one, you know, want the government to buy their property. It's like, why you do something with it? I don't want my tax dollars going to any of that. Why because if I did, I would have bought it myself, you know. I mean, it's it's fairly simple because you can guarante I can guarantee you they don't want anything but top dollar for their property.

Speaker 1

Yeah. The last seg week it's saying they'll buy it up. Yeah. Last thing we need is we don't need the government owning commercial property anymore, exactly. Thank you, Anthony, appreciate the phone call. Be safe out there, Bubba. You'll be next and first in our next segment. I have to add on because Anthony's referring to a story in the news of some local property being put up for sale and they want the government to buy it. Just put it up for sale. If government wants to bid whatever. I

have a problem with that, but that's another topic. But in that same newscast, it was mentioned that seventy thousand cars use the exit at Thomasville and I ten every day. Those numbers come come from the Florida Department of Transportation. So you want to take issue with it, as was quoted in the newscast, take issue with FDOT sixteen passed the hour. More to come on the Morning Show with Preston Scott lines or open eight five zero to zero five WFLA, my heart's.

Speaker 3

Radio station, back with what's the beef.

Speaker 1

Here on the Morning Show with Preston Scott, and we go straight back to the phone lines, our final segment of audio therapy for the morning, and Bubba has been very patient. Good morning, sir, Welcome, Hey.

Speaker 13

Welcome preston my beast today and it may be for the rest of the year. Has to do with property insurance and whatnot, because it's coming us seniors at here. We're struggling a little bit and a property insurance. Got to get a new route. Just got that done. Now, got to sit down with the insurance agent today. I don't know what what's gonna come next, but you know, our governor had three special sessions on this and nothing

was done. And so now with this season, hurricane seasons here again, and I'm just wondering what's gonna come down next to whether he's gonna ask for another special session.

Speaker 1

Well, but thanks very much for the phone calls. I think the radio's on in the background and it's causing us a little bit of a of a challenge. I think Sal Newso would tell you that they have addressed some issues, but that it takes time for the market to react to things that are legislatively done. But at the same time, there's just so much a government can

do right otherwise you're into price controls. And so we live in a state that is a peninsula, and I think sometimes we forget that that there are very few spots inside this state, if any, that are not impacted by the ravages or the potential ravages of a storm. It costs more to insure property here. But I agree there are things that can be done, and I believe they've done some of those things. All Right, We're gonna move as quickly as we can here. Dan, you're up, what's the beef they doing?

Speaker 14

I want to call about that video that someone mentioned with a Minneapolis I mean Minnesota State police were finding the paintballs that the people that work following the curfew.

Speaker 1

Yep.

Speaker 14

There You're going to get more and more police complying with orders. It doesn't matter whether it's for against the constitution. And I think that's what happened in You've already with their school shooting. They're more compliant. They're going to follow their orders instead of following their hearts. They're what they you know, people were calling them cowards, but they're afraid to go against their superiors more than they're afraid to, you know, do something wrong.

Speaker 1

Thank you very much, Dan, I appreciate the phone call. The issues going to be Sheriffs run the counties and not the police. Sheriffs are the constitutional officers. It's their job to follow the constitution. And what was going on was wrong in Minneapolis and Saint Paul at that time. Let's go to Derek. You're up, what's the beef?

Speaker 15

Hey, it's not what's the beef, it's what's the spleef. I'm just so tired of driving in traffic and getting second hand smoke from all these folks smoking weed. Tell me about it, don't get me wrong. I've been there, done that, and it's just out of control. So somebody's driving along, drinking a beer, having a Scotch in their car, you don't know, but they're impaired. But these people are advertising it and they are. I don't care what you say. If you're smoking pot, you're impaired.

Speaker 1

Yep.

Speaker 15

And is there any way? And I don't want legislation, but we need cops out here to follow these people and they're driving impaired. I've got family and friends out here driving, people are texting, They're totally distracted. What's going on here?

Speaker 4

You know?

Speaker 15

And we have we had a prominent attorney pushing for this and he's he's, you know, if you get hurt with you know, this has got to stop.

Speaker 1

Derek, Derek, I got to roll on, Buddy, I got your beef. I hear you. We have been talking about that on the program. There have to be legislative things done if this state makes the mistake of legalizing weed. And we're just at the tip of that iceberg. Debbie, you're up second to the last caller. What's the beef?

Speaker 5

Good morning, Preston. I'm wondering what is going on on the south side of town at Florida A and M. I see a palacecoo going on down there. They have appointed a one year interim president who has demanded the resignation of all of the department heads down there. What of the best minds in the country are going to sign on to move to Tallahassee, Florida for one year? This guy cannot possibly be executing permanent appointments to those jobs.

Who's taken over down there or what communists are they bringing in?

Speaker 1

Thank you, Debbie, appreciate that. Yeah, a lot of questions on that decision and the board giving him the authority allegedly to make those decisions. I agree with you. You don't let an interim fire up all the department heads without at least going through the board. Bill. You're the final caller. What's the beef.

Speaker 11

Yees for the city of Tallahassees. They're going into another red light agreement for the school zones. You know, if they didn't learn their lesson the last time, they're gonna try again. And if you're speeding in a school zone, they're gonna find you. And the city gets sixty dollars of it of the one hundred dollars. Fine, and rest of it goes to the city and divvied up a little bit. All of it ought to go to the school and forget the city.

Speaker 1

Thank you. Do you mind the cameras in the school zones? No, yeah, me either.

Speaker 11

I mean, you know, and I know people are gonna get caught that are running late to work and everything else. But that's the way it is.

Speaker 1

Thank you very much, Bill, appreciate it. Yeah, that's a really interesting argument. I'd not thought about that. Don't keep the money, give it to the schools. Interesting. I like it. Well done, people, Another edition What's to Be Friday is in the books. When we come back, Jose and I share our best and worst of the week. We've got good news, dad, joke, headlines from the b Don't miss the final half hour of the Morning Show with Preston Scott.

This is the Morning Show with Preston Scott. You know next week is Game week. That that's probably gonna be My best of the week is that it's it's game week. But we have the best and the worst now and Jose, can you see is up? Yeah?

Speaker 16

So the best for me for this week is that yesterday on Daily Caller they announced that JD. Vance and tamp On Tim will be having a debate.

Speaker 1

Okay, I'm stoked about that.

Speaker 16

Can't wait to see Vance crush weird Tim Wolves.

Speaker 1

He's just he's just weird.

Speaker 16

Yeah, and my and my Bad can also be a beef of the fast food restaurant whose name I shall not name. They have super high prices and a Chiloopa meal is insanely expensive, about fifteen sixteen bucks, and the Jeloopa show is always wait, wait, wait, there's a drive through that's offering a Chiloopma meal for about fifteen bucks. Yeah, I won't name you know who they are, but if you know, you know, are we running for the border?

Speaker 1

Is that? Is that what we're doing? Is that? Is that? You know? The the bell ringing with my chiwawa man? All right? My worst of the week is the report that at an event in North Carolina, the site agent for the Secret Service is getting ready for the motorcade's arrival and they're doing one final sweep walking the route

and found a breastfeeding agent. A female Secret Service agent breastfeeding her child in a room that was supposed to be an emergency room for Secret Service person Now only, and she had two other family members in the room there, which bypassed the Uniform division checkpoint. You're not supposed to have a child there while you're on protective duty. You're not supposed to have people past the security checkpoint that haven't gone through the checkpoint, let alone in the secret

in the emergency room. This is DEI for you. That's my worst of the week. My best of the week. You know this is This is my Hemmicker Schlimmer catalog. And I got a bunch of catalogs, which means they know Christmas is coming, they notice send me catalogs. This is Jill rather August. I start in July looking but it's never too early to to look through a Hammicker Schlimmer catalog. And I have one. And so that's a

tie in my best for the week. With Liverpool soccer starting tomorrow the new Premier League season, I admitted I'm a soccer fan. You heard it, I said it. I got it out. I've come out of the closet. I am. I'm a big time Liverpool soccer fan. I blame my son. When Jamison was living abroad, he became a fan of soccer in a major way almost got beat up living in a flat in England and he went out to

take pictures. I think it was of you know, the scene after a match and just by fate happened to be wearing the wrong colors and almost got beat up for it. But yeah, he's got me hooked into Liverpool for the last several years. I'm a big geek and I will be up early tomorrow morning watching Premier League soccer as they begin tomorrow the new season. Those guys play almost year round. It's like a ten month season. It's crazy. Forty minutes past the hour come back. Good

news is next already mentioned. Monday on the program, we'll talk about It's Game week FSU football in Dublin, Ireland. They'll be flying over midweek. Absorb the time change, try to get ready. It will be a noon kickoff, which means at ten o'clock AM. Pregame Eastern Time, nine o'clock Central on your Fine iheartstations. Also Monday on the program, James Carafano of the Heritage Foundation decades in the military.

He's a policy expert and he will talk with us about military recruiting and what's going wrong and the danger it poses. To the United States. That's coming up Monday here on the Morning show. But we've reached that time of the broadcast where we need to push away everything else. Kay, do you have any good news for a kings so much? Just spell it's time for some good news. It's true even I need a little good news now and then. Wouldn't it be lovely if we had just a little

bit of good news? I have recommended to you for years and I guess it's an extension of the Mad Radio Network. Make a difference to always have your discernometer working, because you'll never know unless you're kind of paying attention to the world around you, the opportunities that you will have to make a difference in someone's life unless you're listening and paying attention to the world around you. This

story comes from New Hampshire. Janelle Marie came across a guy named Donald and listen now at US Gold and Pond in Manchester, New Hampshire. Donald was selling jewelry and Donald is ninety years old, and you're looking at an older gentleman that's selling things that obviously were very meaningful to him at a pawn shop. And she struck up

a conversation. He was selling his jewelry to pay rent for him and for his wife, who had been diagnosed with dementia, and to avoid eviction, and so struggling to keep up with the bills, he resorted to pawning everything that he owned to try to find the money to pay what he could of the rent, at least to buy himself some time. Well, Miss Janelle decided to do something about it. She put it on TikTok and started

a GoFundMe page. Shortly after she started, she was able to get twelve hundred dollars of cash, and she found Donald because she'd figured out a way to reach to him. He didn't want to accept the money, and she said, look, people want to help help you. And so it paid

the rent that was due. I'm not sure whether he was prepared for the three hundred and sixty five thousand dollars that was raised as of Monday this week, but it seems that Donald and his lovely wife's situation has been taken care of because one person paid attention and looked around and saw a need and made a difference. That is good news. Here in the Morning Show with Preston Scott, what a week I'm heading to my trailer when this is over and eating my m and ms.

In my contract, writer, it stipulates that I must have blue peanut m and ms waiting for me at the end.
