There we go Wednesday of the morning show with thrusting Scott. Second to the last show of the week. We are off on Friday. Back on Monday. Good to be with you friends, July twenty fourth. More on that date in Mere Moments It is show fifty two oh two. That is, jose can you see? And I am pressed them. Our verse today comes from Matthew five. It says, in verse thirteen, you are the salt of the earth. That doesn't necessarily mean everybody. That means those who are
following God. But if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? Jesus said, it is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people's feet. Now, obviously, Jesus with the parable of the prodigal son and talking about finding the one sheep out of the ninety nine out of the hundred, the one that's wandered off, makes
clear that there is grace and room. But I think that the principles being made here is that we are supposed to maintain our ability to be salty. And you do that by maintaining a consistent walk with Christ, by maintaining an active prayer life by maintaining the discipline to study God's word on a regular basis. There are so many different examples Jesus gives in scripture on this principle,
and we'll talk about another one of those principles tomorrow. But the idea here is to remember that our place, you know, salt in the culture was a preservative and a seasoning. You know, salt had very valuable purposes in biblical times. Salt still has value today. A lot of food would be
a lot of plan and without just a little sprinkle assault. And Jesus is making sure that we understand the concept that we are salt, we are that seasoning, that we're supposed to have an impact on the world around us. So that's where we'll start today. The program is going to be interesting, obviously hopefully I think that that's the case all the time. But in the third hour, we've got he Zeus Rodriguezjzeus is a former border patrol agent twenty
plus years on the southern border. We'll talk about what's going on down there and get the reaction that his former colleagues have to Biden not running for reelection, but the borders are is there any notable impact Kamala Harris has had in the last three years as borders are No. I'm still just getting my mind around this. So in the second hour, Kamala is the choice, and how interesting the reaction Black Lives Matter is going nuts that Kamala is the choice.
Isn't that interesting? Black Lives Matter is not happy with the choice of Kamala Harris because they believe that the entire primary process was totally ignored. It was and if you go back through it all, it's just it's a joke. But we're gonna look at the Kamala Harris pick and some things that might be worth considering. Of course, we've got the big stories in the press box. Yes, more developments. I've got a post up on the Twitter
page x at TMS Preston Scott on the roof moments after the shooting. Some video BODYCM. Thanks for joining us this morning in the Morning Show with Preston Scott. This is the Morning Show with Preston Scott. Take a peek inside the American Patriots Almanac, July twenty fourth. Can you believe July's over? Next week? That's nuts. Before you know it, we'll be talking about
the twelve days of Preston. Let's see here on this date in seventeen seventy five, during the Revolutionary War, the newly appointed Commander in Chief of the Continental Army busy organizing his troops. As he rode through the camps on the hills outside Boston, George Washington surely heard his men singing a ditty that they had taken a liking to, with the words that started, Yankee Doodle went
to town riding on a pony. The origins of the song are obscure, but British soldiers reportedly sang it during the French and Indian War to mock shabby American troops. Yankee was a nickname for New Englanders. The term may have come from yankeee, an Indian pronunciation for the word English. A doodle was a nitwit. According to the song, Yankee Doodle stuck a feather in his cap and called it macaroni, which was slang for a dandy young man who
liked to dress in style. So we lose the original meaning because of our vernacular today. But if you think about it, it is a song that the British sang to completely make fun of us. Yankee doodle went to town riding on a pony, stuck a feather in his cap and called it macaroni, which to them meant so he thinks putting a feather in his cap makes him a well dressed man. Whatever. Ah, So they're just laughing at us with the song. Once the Revolutionary War began, Patriot soldiers appropriated the
song. At Bunker Hill, they sang the verse. Father and I went down to camp along with Captain Goodin, and there we saw the men and boys as thick as hasty pudden. After George Washington took command of the army, a new verse appeared, and there was Captain Washington upon a slapping stallion giving orders to his men. I guess there was a million. And the song became a became a favorite of the fife and drum bands. It is said the Patriots played this is the best, This is the best Yorktown.
I have a Virginia Militia bayonet recovered at Yorktown in my in my home. Imagine now Lord cornwallis, his soldiers are surrounded. It's over, and the US troops start singing Yankee Doodle. They did, they they they they serenaded Cornwallis and his men. Cornwallis, if you recall, was was too embarrassed to surrender. He sent one of his subordinates out to do the official surrender to Washington. But that's that's just brilliant. Maybe it wasn't Washington that was
there at the time, but anyway. Seventeen oh one, Detroit Destois is founded as a French fur trading post. Eighteen forty seven, Brigham Young leads Mormons to the Valley of the Great Salt Lake. Nineteen eleven, American explorer Hirom Bigham discovers Machu Picchu, the lost city of the Incas, in the Andes Mountain of Peru. And in nineteen sixty nine, Apollo eleven astronauts splashed
down in the Pacific. Of course, I'm sure to some of you that was all just a fraud, you know, them falling out of the sky, they just you know, they just whoops there they were sure anyway, sixteen minutes after the hour, it's the Morning Show with President Scott my Hearts
radio station. Yeah, we're finding out things, we're learning. As I said yesterday, there was questions about someone behind Trump at the assassination attempt, and there were rumors floating around that this was an assistant director of the FBI that was back there, and we'll we'll we've kind of dug into that and learned some things, but there is more information coming out that is alarming concerning the Heritage Foundation is doing a project that was just really surprising to me.
Within a couple of hours of the attempt at shooting, the Heritage Foundation started working on a project that we'll we'll talk about today as well that was just i mean, nothing definitive, but nonetheless part of the picture. And so we're going to be unpacking that today on the program as well. It's just it's just interesting. We are really flying an uncharted air here. This is
uh, this is weird what's happening in our country right now. You look at the way that Democrats have bully Joe Biden out while they they spent how long covering for him, and then all of a sudden they just rushed him out. It's like they used him to secure that he got the nomination and then it was like he's out of here. They didn't want to go through I'm trying to understand why didn't they want to go through all of this? In a fair primary. I'm not going to pretend to have figured it all
out because I I don't get it. But why not let Kamala fight for herself? I mean, she was the weakest link in twenty twenty. You might recall she was the first one out. Now part of that could have been a deal. I don't know why in the world she would make a deal. I mean, if she's that good of a campaigner and speech giver and candidate, but why not why not have a primary? They knew Joe Biden has been compromised for three and a half years. Just this just doesn't
make sense. And my discernometer is just on full red. It's just clicking away. Anyway. Lead research assistant sent this my way. I just I just thought it was really interesting. I've I'm not going to say that I'm
a friend of the former governor and now US Senator Rick Scott. He was kind enough to invite me and you know, some of my family that were available to have dinner with he and his wife at the governor's mansion when he was in governor and so I you know, I got to sit and have dinner with him, and I mentioned he had been in studio at least thirty thirty five times in his first couple of years as governor just sat right here and and so you know, I would say that I know him a little
bit certainly, you know, just more than maybe a traditional media person, but not like a friend. But I respect the governor now Senator, and one of the many reasons why. And I don't agree with every single vote that any of these people ever make, but that's okay. They wouldn't agree with every voter that I would make if I were in their shoes. It's all right. Did you know that he never collected one penny of salary when
he was the governor. He donated all of it away. He is, I believe, the wealthiest man in Congress, and so he has taken every single check that he receives. They get paid I guess quarterly. He has taken every single check he has received since being elected to the Senate and has given it to charity. So he has served our state and our nation and
not allow himself to be paid one penny. His latest donation went to the families injured and who were killed at Butler, Pennsylvania at the rally at the Trump rally, and I don't know if you know this, but the I believe the amount raised for the Comparator family is better than four million dollars now, praise God for that. I wish it were something other than gofund me
because I can't stand the organization. I love the mission, but I can't stand them, and they're making a crap ton of money off stuff like this. A lot of the money goes to them. I think it's a ridiculous percentage. But whatever. Glad the family is going to be taken care of through this. It's just a tragedy. But I just want to publicly just say, well done, Governor, well done. Senator Scott. Is just refreshing, right, that's called public service. I don't begrudge any of them
accepting a check. I don't except those that don't need one. That makes any sense. Twenty seven minutes after the hour, Big Stories in the Press Box are next, WUFLA thirty five, thirty six minutes past the hour, Morning Show, Happy Wednesday to you, Humpday, and the Big Stories in the press Box. Let me get this kind of out of the way because the other three stories are just so dominant in everyone's minds in one form or
another. The newest climate change claim is there are some scientists now claiming that the rising temperatures are making days longer. Okay, here's what makes that noteworthy and newsworthy. Seven years ago, according to Greta Thunberg, you know you even mean older people who don't understand what kind of life you're leaving for us kids and our children. Shame on you, Shame on you. She tweeted out just seven years ago that scientists claimed global warming would cause days to shorten.
So climate change means longer days, global warming means shorter days. Yeah, that's settled science. Just saying, just got to get it out there, friends, Now, other big stories. Kim cheatle quit after all. Huh she needed to. I'm curious what brought that about. That's an about face. She did the right things, should have done it immediately. The woman that was acting a little weird. You've seen the video, right, you've seen the video of the woman behind Trump. I'm not convinced. You
know there's been this. I've gotten videos of the analysis. Look, she's looking to the right, she's looking at the shoot. Well maybe she is, but maybe she's looking at the chart. Trump was pointing at the chart, remember the chart that saved his life. And there were other people looking
to the right as well. And you know, I someone sent me this analysis of this guy who's just really intense on this thing, and it was an entertaining video except for the fact that he forgets that there's a bunch of other people looking to the right. Look, she's the only one looking over there. No, that's not true. There are a bunch of people looking over there. Now, was she looking at the chart? I don't know. Here's what I also don't what I also know or sorry, what I
do know. It's not the assistant FBI director. It's a different woman. Now. I have no idea who she is. And to say she's not acting a little weird as shots are being fired is a massive understatement. She doesn't flinch when the shots ring out. She does not flinch. It's a little weird. Now, there's a part of me that says, well, maybe she's you know, former law enforcements, special agent, Army, maybe marines. Who knows. I'm just saying, maybe she's accustomed to the gunfire
and it just didn't shock her. I don't know, But it's not an FBI to or assistant director. And if you really step back and think about it, which I did after the show, there ain't no way anybody that's a figurehead with the FBI is going to be there right behind Trump if they were part of a plan, They're just that's not gonna happen. But then there's the project being done, the Oversight Project by Heritage Foundation. Heritage Foundation
has an impeccable reputation. Going to get to that next forty minutes after the hour little expanded big story segment here in the morning Show. Now, I'm going to do my best to explain this in a very brief manner. The Oversight Project began a geo location investigation hours after the attempted assassination of Trump. And what they've been doing is they hope that other experts in the field of
geolocation searches criminal investigation step forward to assist. Investigation was begun out of concern that the work of the FBI, Secret Service, and other law enforcement agencies will not be transparent or thorough, so they're doing their own independent investigation on some issues. They used the shooter's home and work addresses to find cell phones
that were common to both addresses then triangulated each phone's path of travel. They use commercially available phone identification numbers that are normally used to tailor advertising to a phone's user. In other words, they use publicly available information. A phone associated with his work address traveled to the Gallery Place complex in downtown Washington on June twenty sixth, twenty twenty three, and paying seven or eight times from
that location that day. Gallery Place is an eleven story mixed use building constructed over the Chinatown Metro station. It's filled with retail stores, restaurants, and houses the offices of the FBI on the upper floors. That's in twenty twenty three. Again, a phone associated with the work address of the shooter pinged at that location on one day multiple times. They said that the phone associated with that ID number most likely belonged to someone who visited him at his place
of work. They don't believe it was necessarily his phone, so they think that someone that worked with the FBI likely visited him, which I think is actually more of a problem than if it were the other way around, because you could easily explain the pinging of the shooter just hanging out doing some shopping visiting, you know what I mean, whatever, because it is a place of shopping in restaurants and so forth. You can say what you will.
He's twenty nineteen year old kid at that point, So I'm just saying I think it looks a little worse the other way that a phone that is regularly or located at an FBI office on one day multiple times is suddenly finding its way to his workplace. Found a device associated with the shooter that traveled twice from Bethel Park, just south of Pittsburgh to Butler. Took trips on July fourth and eighth. The phone ceased all activity on July twelfth, the day
before the shooting. That device also stopped at a home depot. So they feel pretty good they've got his phone there, one of perhaps his phones. There's word of at least two. Another device associated with him took a flight from Pittsburgh to Logan International in Boston back in March. Returned back to Pittsburgh on March fourth. The device link to him visited Allegheny Arms and Gun Works in Bethel on August thirtieth. The guy in charge of the project, Mike
Howell for the Protection of Whistleblowers and our investigation. We will not be sharing further information with a Congressional Task force due to the connective tissue between that entity and the FBI, Secret Service and other entities. Make of that what you will, crazy, huh. It just buttresses the growing concern that while now
here's another thing that's alleged at this point to be known. Senator Chuck Grassley has released body camera video of I guess local police shooters snipers that went to the rooftop the dead shooters there, they're talking with Secret Service agents. They had photos of this guy that the snipers were sending out. They were looking for him, and they still didn't put somebody on that roof That video and the conversation, which is very clear. Its body camera video can be seen
on my Twitter page, X page at TMS Preston Scott. You can see the video and you can judge it for yourself. Allegedly eight shell casings were found by his body. What does that mean? That means at this point he was the only source of the shooting. That's what that would mean at this time. If there were eight shellcasings found, we'll see, does that mean there wasn't somebody else observing or there. No, absolutely, it doesn't. I absolutely believe that this was a conspiracy to kill Trump. Where it
goes, who's behind it all? We don't know that yet. Forty seven minutes after the own with back when we come back, a huge piece of irony, it's the Morning Show with Preston Scott Ruminators. You're the best, you really are. The projects you've supported over the years, the scholarships, the I mean, you built a home for orphans in Malawi for Pete's sake, and then you stepped up and are supporting that home every month. You put a water well and plumbing in a village in Cambodia that has never had
water, and I'm just I'm just scratching the surface. There's there's beds and Christmas things for kids in Haiti. I mean, it's just you guys are
awesome. But then it's your personal kindnesses to me that just I'm sitting here staring at a massive jar full of nut goodies that kind people of family sent to me and dropped off for my birthday, and I just I just it's like looking at them just makes me happy because it's it's just a snapshot of games on the golf course with my dad and George Pearson, the founder of Pearson Candy who makes those things, Rudy Luther, a car dealer owner.
My dad, mister Pearson and I would play golf routinely together and it was those two against Dad and me, and and those were just those are just great memories, but the things that you pick up and listen to. Yesterday I had the joy of meeting Bill and Donna Brumfield. And if you live out in Jefferson County, you know them. I think Bill's held every elected office in Jefferson County, every every and I think he's running for the school
board again. He's been the mayor of Monticello. Just delightful people. He and Donna spent some time with me yesterday after the show, and they brought me an Oscar Meyer Wiener mobile mug that has the line, oh I wish and you know the rest of the song, Oh I wish I were an Oscar Meyer ween Or. That is what I truly love to be, because if I were at askmirewen Or, everyone would be in love with me.
And so I've got this. It's amazing and it's got the wienermobile. But think of the first of all, thank you for the gift, but think of the irony story came out yesterday Oscar meyer wienermobile crashed his flips on its side and busy Chicago Highway. Everybody's fine, everybody's fine, but what are the odds? So Bill and Donna, thank you for the kind gift. I appreciate it. When we come back. Hour two of the program will feature Yes, what does a Kamala Harris vice presidency look like? Second hour
of the Morning Show with Preston Scott. I'm Preston, He's Jose and it's great to be with you. Friends. Is Zeus Rodriguez? Next hour? Get his reaction to what's going on the change in the presidential race, the attempted assassination, as well as what's going on on the southern border with a two decades plus serving our nation as a border patrol agent, and so I'm anxious to talk with Jose. I want to focus in on the decision by
the Democrats to basically ignore the millions and millions and millions of Democrats. I understand the explanation. Well, the delegates were pledged to vote for Joe Biden, but Joe Biden has released those delegates by stepping down from his reelection campaign and has endorsed Kamala Harris. So they're honoring Joe's request, But that's missing the point. You can take issue with the fact that a bunch of people vote decided to vote for Joe Biden. How'd they do that? Well,
they cleared the field. They lied and said Joe was fit as a fiddle. It was obvious he was not. So now what they've done is they've angered a bunch of Democrats like whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Hold on here, and most interesting to me is Black Lives Matter. It's crazy. But of all the groups that is just livid, it's BLM. They don't want Kamala. They're far from alone. But we'll get to that.
The polling will shake itself out. And trust me, I would put zero stock in the polling at this point because I think they are so desperate they're gonna make people think that Kamala has got a chance. I just don't think she does. Now, there are others out there that think there's still a surprise coming, that there's just no way the Democrats to live with Kamala Harris. I don't agree. I think she's they. I think they've they've thrown all in. Now, have they done it to energize the race, to
give their down ballot choices a chance? Maybe? Maybe, But let's face it, she's Joe. She's tied at the hip with all of his policies.
I came across an interesting piece on Reuters PolitiFact piece in fact, how has PolitiFact rated her claims on abortion, in the economy, Trump, all kinds of things going back to twenty twelve, when she was the California Attorney general, when she was a US senator, when she was a presidential candidate and the vice presid isn't it forty one percent of her claims have landed as either mostly false, false or pants on fire roughly half, just under half.
Here's what's interesting to me, only forty six. Think about that for a second. Over a period of twelve years, forty six things have been fact checked. Here's what that says to me. Forget the fact that forty one percent of the time she's lying or false or whatever over twelve years. I mean, that's that's fourteen, just under four times a year she said
something worth checking. That's the other way I look at this. She hasn't said anything worth paying attention to, but four times a year for twelve years, when we come back some electoral reality. Next on The Morning Show with Preston Scott. The Morning Show with Preston Scott. All right, I think that I listened to just driving around, I caught just a few minutes of Clay and Buck, something that I generally just don't have the opportunity to do.
I've had Buck Sexton as a guest on the program. I've never had Clay on the show. I think I think they're both very bright guys, and I recognize that some people really enjoy their programs, some don't. It's like me, I mean, you know, I wish I wish everybody listened to the show. I think we offer a lot, even to people that don't agree with my opinions. I think we offer a lot in terms of just getting stories out there and letting you hear a perspective that perhaps for some
of you you don't hear. But but if you talk to even people that don't agree with me, that do come in and sit down and talk and have chats with me, I think they would they would say that I'm a fair guy, and that I'm polite, but but I listened to to Clay in particular, Clay Travis talking about and he's tweeted about the fact that, you know, female voters out there that don't like Trump because of his extra
marital affairs and his personality and so forth. He's basically saying, how ironic that they might go and ahead and support a side chick in Kamala Harris. And so I know what he's talking about. He's talking about the relationship that she had years ago with Willie Brown. You know, WILLI was, I want to say, member of the state legislature. Maybe he was the mayor of San Francisco. She was twenty nine, he was sixty. He had been estranged from his wife. They'd been separated for like a decade, And
so it's not exactly the same thing because their relationship was very public. Now I agree with Clay in this, It's weird. How many people, ladies, how many friends did you have in your twenties when they were in their twenties that were hanging out with sixty year old men and having a relationship with him. I mean, that's just weird, right, So I can agree with him on that that's gross, But I think it's a little beyond comparing
that to a side hustle relationship a bad form. Yeah, probably. I think my overarching takeaway from that particular issue would be this, Donald Trump is no paragon of virtue, but neither is Kamala Harris. I mean, let's face it, very few politicians are. And so tomorrow we're going to take some time to talk about a guy who is making the argument on national television.
He's part of the Lincoln Project that Christians have no right to vote for Donald Trump, that Christians that vote for Trump must not sincerely be Christians. We're gonna I'm gonna let you listen to something he said, and I'm gonna tackle that head on head on. I've invited him to be on the show. I forget Stewart Anderson or Stuart something is his name, and I've invited him to come on the show because I am going to talk about what he
said. I'm gonna play the clip and so forth. But some electoral reality here. You need to understand. If you're even remotely considering GovTrack, which is a nonpartisan organization that just looks at policy, has Kamala Harris when she was in the US Senate rated further to the left on the economy than Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren the original focahuntas, thank you Rush, think about that, friends, further left than Bernie and Elizabeth Warren. The other thing that's
important to note is independence. Independence can't stand her, cannot stand her. And while right now they can celebrate the fact that they've got an actual, living, breathing human being that can read a teleprompter and walk without getting lost, and that's a win, but the bar's low for the Democrat Party right now, that's a win. There's one thing that is inescapable. She's still Kamala. More on that next This Morning Show with Preston Scott seventeen past the
hour. All right, let's let's just remember, okay, what Democrats are offering up as as president of the United States. Material I can imagine what can be and be unburdened by what has been, you know, what can be unburdened by what has been? What can be unburdened by what has been? What can be unburdened by what has been? What can be unburdened by what has been? What we can see, what we believe can be unburdened by what has been? What can be unburdened by what has been? What
can be unburdened by what has been? What can be unburdened by what has been? What can be unburdened by what has been? Who we can be unburdened by who we have been? What can be unburdened by what has been? Where we can be unburdened by where we have been and unburdened by where we are right now? What can be unburdened by what has been? What can be unburdened by what has been? What can be unburdened by what has been? What could be unburdened by what had been? What can be unburdened
by what has been? What can be unburdened by what has been? What can be unburdened by what has been? What can be unburdened by what has been? What can be unburdened by what has been? Unburdened by what has been? Believing in what can be? What can be unburdened by what has been? What can be unburdened by what has been? What can be unburdened by what has been? What can be unburdened by what has been? What can be unburdened by what has been? What can be unburdened by what has
been? What can be unburdened by what has been? What could be unburdened by what had been? What can be unburdened by what has been? What can be unburdened by what has been? What can be unburdened by what has been? What can be unburdened by what has been? What can be? What should be unburdened by what has been? What can be unburdened by what has been? What can be unburdened by what has been? See what can be unburdened by what has been? What can be unburdened by what has been?
What can be unburdened by what has been? Unburdened by what has been? And knowing what can be? Have a sense of vision about what can be unburdened by what has been? To see what can be unburdened by what has been? What can be unburdened by what has been? What can be unburdened by what has been? What could be unburdened by what had been? What can be unburdened by what has been? What can be unburdened by what has been? Where we can be unburdened by where we've been? What was
possible unburdened by what has been? What can be unburdened by what has been? What can be unburdened by what has been? What can be unburdened by what has been? What can be unburdened by what has been? What can be unburdened by what has been? What can be unburdened by what has been? What can be unburdened by what has been? What can be unburdened by what has been? What can be unburdened by what has been? That can
be unburdened by what has been? There are those who are unable to see what can be, But there are many more who are able to see what can be unburdened by what has been. M Ladies and gentlemen, Not one of those was repeated. Those are all unique, different appearances. Where she said the same stinking thing, what can be unburdened by what has been? Or should I say what can be unburdened by what has been? Cause of
shivers up and down my spine. I refuse to believe this country will elect somebody like this so obviously burdened by what has been twenty seven minutes after the hour, that's what a campaign sounds like of Kamala Harris. The Morning Show with Preston Scott on News Radio one hundred point seven doubled UFLA. Just to show you the level of enthusiasm. Forget the rallies with the bust in participants. Check out this announcement by Chuck Schumer. It's it's it's absolutely it's legendary.
So, now that the process has played out from the grassroots bottom up, we are here today to throw our support behind Vice President Kamala Harris. I'm clapping, you don't have to. Let's just take a moment here, and let's think about the significance of the passage of time. Let's think about
what Chuck says here. So, now that the process has played out, what process is that and what from the grassroots bottom up really is that to suggest the voters, because I'm not certain that the first one out in twenty twenty has done anything in the subsequent four years to change her polling. In fact, she's more despised than Joe Biden. But okay, continue, we are here today to throw our support behind Vice President Kamala Harris. I'm clapping.
Wow. I just we'll have plenty of time to play all the other sound bites and have fun. But my gosh, okay, big stories in the press box. The head of the Secret Services quit. The woman behind Trump during the assassination attempt is not an assistant FBI director. Don't know who she is. I'm sure we will figure that out and that person will come
forward and say, yeah, it was me. She I don't know she maybe she won't because she acted weird she really did, or she's maybe she's the parent of like four thousand children because she didn't flinch, you know, that would be another way to explain the fact she didn't budge. What I mean, she held a sign up. It was almost I mean, I'm not gonna lie. It almost appeared like she was anticipating it. It did look that way. And then her actions though it's not the look to the
right, because a bunch of people were looking to the right. Heritage Foundation they are doing a project, a geolocation investigation of phones that are connected to the shooter. They are uncovering some very very interesting, disturbing information. You need to look it up Heritage Foundation. And here's why I put credibility on it. I put credibility on it because it's the Heritage Foundation. They have an impeccable reputation of being thorough. You may not like their analysis of things,
but they don't do things silly. It's called the Oversight Project. They started it in the hour subsequent to the attempted assassination, forty minutes past the hour. When we come back, I'm gonna ask a question, does it
count? This is The Morning Show with Preston Scott. While this segment is for everybody, I want everyone to consider what can be unburdened by what has been This is CNN story and this is a shout out especially to the men and women at Eglin or Tyndall Air Force Bases, especially those of you that are experienced pilots or are retired, like I know that I have retired fighter pilots in this audience. I know that. I know it for a fact.
The US Navy has come out and pushed out a release about the first American woman to score a victory in air to air combat. Now the headline caused me to go, wow, really, where are we fighting? People in the air. I mean, my mind just went to did we have a confrontation with an Iranian fighter jet or something? I mean, you know
what I mean, I mean air to air? Okay, And then I read into the story flying an Fa eighteen super Hornet, which, by the way, I've said this before, female pilots, snipers, there are all kinds of jobs females can do and do very well. This isn't about female pilots per se. It's about the Navy claiming she's the first to score a victory in air to air combat and the victory was over a hoothy attack drone. And I mean this in all sincerity. There's no doubt this woman and
that there are many female pilots that are very skilled. I have no doubt of that at all. I'm asking does that count as air to air combat victory? Now? Without looking like a total stooge, which I could absolutely be, on this question of doesn't count? I did some digging the most advanced drone that the Houthis are using, and the Houthis are this group in
Yemen. Yemen is politically unstable, it's a train wreck, and it's also maybe the poorest nation of all the countries in the Middle East ravaged by civil war. Theis it's always the case that when there's a vacuum of power, the people with the guns take charge. Look at what happened in Iraq when we didn't think through completely what was going to happen when we deposed Saddam isis swept in why they had the weaponry. Radicals always take control in weakness always,
That's why we have to maintain our armaments. The Second Amendment, unarmed citizenry changes everything. But the most advanced attack drone that the Houthis have goes one hundred and ninety eight miles an hour, the F eighteen super Hornet. Mock one points to convert that that's twelve hundred and twenty seven miles per hour. I say that because I don't know what offensive capabilities the Hoothy drone had. I mean, maybe it has something I don't know about. Normally,
these are what what is oftentimes referred to as suicide drones. They have a payload and they go and they literally There are certainly drones that drop loads and fire missiles and all that stuff. This one is these are typically they just they they do kamikaze missions. Basically and boom, blow up whatever they're aimed
at. But I don't know that they have defensive or offensive weaponry. So I'm I'm asking email me if you're if you're a fighter pilot with some knowledge on what I'm asking here in your mind, does this count as air to air combat victory? I don't think it does, but I'm absolutely open to stand corrected and email me Preston at iHeartRadio dot com. And I would love to know what you flew if or what you fly, because I'm just I'm a geek on pilots and airplanes and stuff like that. So yeah, I
don't know. Twelve hundred and twenty seven miles per hour versus one hundred and ninety eight, I'm just not I'm just I don't know. I'm not sure that's necessarily air to air combat victory, but you get my point. Forty seven after the hour, back with more of the Morning Show with preston' Scott
wfla Esus Rodriguez joins us in just a little bit. He's former US Border Patrol agent worked the southern border for better than two decades, and we'll catch up with him get his thoughts on a lot of things and use his vast experience to the reaction to the dismissal of charges against George Kelly, the Arizona rancher. He was accused of shooting an illegal That was, they were prosecuting him for defending his land and whatever. This was a story, a listener
pointed out. Elon musk interview with doctor Jordan Peterson Monday this week, asked about his thoughts on doctors performing sex change procedures on children, practice that both doctor Peterson and Musk describe as evil. I agree it is evil anyone that is a minor, anyone that is deemed to be suffering from any kind of mental condition. I believe it is a procedure. It is doctoral care that is criminal and should cause a doctor to be stripped of his or her license
and ability to practice. But back to Musk, he said his experience with his child, Javier, who now goes by the name of Vivian Jenna Wilson, opened his eyes to what he called the woke mind virus. Must say it wasn't explained to him that puberty blockers are actually sterilization drugs. When he gave his consent for his son to undergo the treatment. He called the term gender affirming care a terrible euphemism. I lost my son. Essentially, they
call it dead naming for a reason. The reason it's called dead naming is because your son is dead. My son Xavier is dead, killed by the woke mind virus. Now, thankfully we've got more and more states signing up to stopping this. Thankfully, where a lot of this originated over in Europe, they've reversed course. They're saying, ah, yeah, this is not good. This is dangerous because the overwhelming number of kids that have gender confusion
literally grow out of it. But our society, sorry, parts, small parts of our society, are obsessed with normalizing their aberrant choices. They are picking off these kids, and too frequently it happens in our public schools. It happens on social chat rooms and in social chat rooms and so forth. Musk went on to say, I am no law his son. I'm no longer want to be related to my biological father in any way, shape or form. Musk said this was the last straw on why he's moving Tesla SpaceX
headquarters from California to Texas. He said, what Governor Gavin Newsom has done to vilify parents, was it? So? He's yeah, all right, we're gonna change gears. Third hour, next to the Morning Show with Preston Scott. Well, here we go, Third hour, Morning Show with Preston Scott. How are your friends? It's Wednesday, July twenty, fourth show,
five thousand, two hundred and two. Jose, can you see over there running the radio broadcast in Studio one A. I am here in Studio one B, and I'm thrilled to have back with us on the program. Good friend of the show, he is, Heesus Rodriguez, retired US Border Patrol agent. As always, thanks for your service to our country, my friend. How are you? Good morning, Sarah, doing well in yourself? Well, I'll tell you I've been anxious to get your thoughts from your
perspective on the events of the last few weeks. Let's start with what was your reaction? Where were you when you heard about what was going on in Pennsylvania in the attempted assassination of Donald Trump. I was in the yard working on a project, and my daughter came out to tell me that something had happened, and so we were I walked in the house and we started looking at you know, watching the TV, and I well something that one of the guys, one of the agents, had sent me on half of social
media. And you can tell that when he turned his head and also he grabbed his ears like Thorn said, Holy smokes, they took a shot at him, and so you know it went from there. It shocked, I mean shocked and actually to be very honestly pressed and very upset mad because you know they let that happen. Define that for me when you say I know what I think when I say they, what do you think it? The
way? There's always all of these people that have come out against and and and I keep telling my wife and you know, I'm going to take this this out. It's I truly believe it is. There are evil people all over and that don't want him in there for various reasons. And I think it's just the goodness versus the evil and people, and it's not going to stop. I don't foresee it stopping it. I think it's just going to keep ramping up. And if you know, God willing, he comes out
in victorious in November. I think it's just not it's going to continue.
They don't want him in there. I was going to ask you if if you were to guess at the polling, if there was one of the border patrol agents that are tasked with keeping people out of our country that are trying to come in illegally and bring some kind of order to what is a very burdensome process, would you say that the majority or what percentage would you place on those that would prefer Donald Trump in office versus those that would prefer Joe
Biden and now Kamala Harrison office. I'd say probably over seventy five to eighty percent of the agents are are in supportive of President Trump coming back in the office. And I mean, it's just it, you know you. I'm talking to the agents and even some of the younger agents that are that are coming in or are barely starting in their career. I've heard comments saying I didn't sign up for this moment, and I always saw him. I understand
that. But the peglon has swung a different and a different direction than what it was before. But like my journeyman once told me years ago when I came in, he says, the Pegeant's going to swing in different directions, but when it swings back you know, in a direction that's favorable to us, he goes. In some instances, it can swing back pretty hard, he goes. So you know, you got to be ready for these for
these swings like that, he goes. Just do do what you're supposed to do with the oath that you took, and do it to the best of your ability. You know, we can't control politics. When when I I'm gonna I'm going to make afraid, I give you phrase here, and I want to get your reaction as a former border patrol agent and from the perspective of someone who has still got many friendships and relationships within border patrol, Jesus
Kamala Harris, borders are not needed. She was she never she never showed up at the border. So what's the point, I mean, what's the point of putting her in that position? You have to have somebody that that will learn about the border and will take action on whatever the agents or whatever the higher ups are are asking for its in order to control the border. Okay, all right, we've got a lot of issues to talk about.
Hayzoos standby. He's kind enough to join us as we kind of try to understand what's happening on the southern border, because in every survey it is one, two or three. Usually it's one or two as the most important issue in the upcoming national election. So we'll get to that. We'll start unpacking some of those next in the Morning Show with Preston Scott. This is the Morning Show with Preston Scott. Levin passed the hour. Hazeus Rodriguez with US
US Border Patrol agent retired. Our guests, Jesus no particular order here, but Joe Biden's stepping down. It's Kamala Harris. What what do you think is is that impacting numbers at the border right now? The fact that it looks as though Trump may come back into office. So the numbers are down right now in some parts. I know in California they're still pretty they're pretty
busy out there. And if you've seen some of the news reports, there's that huge gap that they have in the in the border wall out there. So they just all come into that one area and and just wait for the border before to come pick them up there and take them to the stations. So the numbers are down, Like like in Arizona, the numbers are down
because it's the monsoons are here. The rains are here, so it slows traffic down because a lot of the access roads that lead to the to some of these spots where they're a crossing are not possible because of the rains. But as soon as it drives up, they're gonna it's gonna start kicking ramping
up again. So now and now you're hearing that there's another caravan coming, and that's what I was, That's what I have been fearing for quite a while that if the numbers and everything starts to trend in the direction of forty five, that the numbers are going to start to increase come fall into winter, and then if he will become victorious, I think the numbers are gonna just explode because they're going to try to come get in before he he takes
office. And so with that, President, I fear also that you're going to have You're gonna you might have that problems where some of these illegal aliens are going to take on the agents in order to avoid being apprehended. And you could see some assaults taking place out in the border as well, because you know that if when it it comes back in that they're going to go back home and they're not going to be you know, cut loosen and be
allowed to remain in the country as they are right now. What do you make of the polling that shows that the overwhelming majority of Americans believe and support the notion of mass deportations of people that have illegally broken into this country.
You know, President that that's been discussed a lot out here, and I will tell you that it honestly, on paper, it sounds, it sounds good, but in reality, I don't know how you're going to be able to pull it off because you'd have to pull agents from the field out in the border to to do such a project like that, are such an enforcement action like that, plus you know the ICE agents as well, you'd have to Really, there's a lot of logistical nightmares that I could think of that
you know that you would have. And where do you start, you know, and where does it end? Because I mean, honestly, personally, I think you can you can probably close your eyes, put your finger on a map of the United States and if you were to look around there, there's probably legal aliens everywhere in this country now, even though we person we used to get them out in the desert and some of them were headed up to Alaska. What did that tell you? And this was years ago?
Can only imagine what if you took the approach of your leaving the personnel on the border, but you're going to just let kind of the internal apparatus you're going to you're going to follow through on the policies that are supposed to exist where there are detainers on people. When someone's arrested and we know that they're illegally in this country, Okay, that's you're starting to load up the train and the plane and the vehicles with those people. What if you just took
a more pragmatic approach to the deportation issue. Oh yeah, that's that's that's always that was always something that they would do. They would have a unit in the stations called war Tap, and so they would go to the jails and interview people and they would if they determined they were legal aliens, they would put his tain on them. So when they were going to get released, that agency would call the station or the stations and then they would go
pick them up and then start the deportation process. And in some instances, in some areas, you still have local law enforcement that call the worbatrol and they respond and then they determine their their alienage and then they go from there. If they're legal, they take them into coffee, unless the county or the state's going to take them into coustody for whatever, you know, crime, and then of course you again you put a detain on them and hold
them until they turn them over to the agency. Ay zoos stand by. We got more to talk about. A Zeus Rodrigae's with us. It's the Morning Show with Preston Scott. Twenty one minutes past the hour. Hey, Zeus Rodriguez, US Border Patrol agent retired, My guests, he joined us multiple times a year here on the program. And certainly the southern border is a huge issue. Do you agree azeus that it's you know, one,
two or three on everyone's list of most important. I'd say so. I mean that it has to be up there because of all the previous activity that's been happening down there, I mean, and all the high numbers that the
agency was seeing, plus the number of god aways. I mean that they're just taking a they're taking a stab age at the possible number of god aways and there's probably a lot higher than what they've put out, And that's kind of where I wanted to go here, because you know, one of the things that has been noted is literally nearly two hundred nations worth of people in
the sense of different nations represented crossing our borders illegally but notably. We've got Islamic extremists, We've got Chinese nationals, and we know that almost weekly now Chinese nationals are trying to get their way on the US military basis, And so I'm curious, is there ever any level of profiling. I would assume that with the intel that the agency now has with overseas, there probably already have an idea of the type of person the persons that are coming up towards
the border, whether it's Chinese nationals or or from other countries. So it's it's kind of amazing that you have so many. I was shocked even in some of the numbers that some of the ages are telling me that they were they were getting from China and from some of these other countries. I mean countries that you that you have to look up on the map to see where they're where they were coming from. It's like Wow, it's amazing. And then I never in my career, I had never seen that type of activity
like that. You know, it's one thing for for people to come across that are, you know, from Central or South America. I mean it's sort of like, okay, you can see the app but I immediately am suspicious of people that are coming from the Middle East and from China because I'm thinking to myself, how do you even afford the journey? Well, it's that smuggling organization pressing that you know I've discussed before. You have a smuggling
organization that is like an octopus. There's tentacles everywhere, so there are people that that will and and on top of that, you have these NGOs that exist in other countries that will kind of help people to get from you know, from point to point B all the way up to the border area.
So you know, it's all it's very it's a very very sophisticated and a well funded and probably the logistical uh NGOs or other groups that help facilitate all these people that are coming up. And then of course the cartails are heavily involved in it because they're making money handle or fist so they're you know, they know the logistical how to get people from you know, these places all the way up to the border and across. I was just going to ask
you that they're coaching them too this way as they cross. What to say, what not to say, you know, all of these things that the agents will tell me that they would find multiple SIM cards all over the border because they would pull it out of the out of their cell phones before they cross, so the agents or the intel agents couldn't access it to look to
see who they were in communications with or what they had. Wow, I was just going to ask you, is there any has there been any change in the cartel activity since we've had this attempt at assassination or with Biden stepping down or is it too soon to tell? You shouldn't tell right now. I think it's gonna, like I said, you'll see You'll see it.
If the numbers start to ramp up in in uh in forty five directions and they start to really you know, take a take go up in numbers and people supporting him for for return of the presidency, I think he's going to start to see a lot more of that of activity on the border accomp do we still have more agents leaving than those that are interested in serving the I'd say that you do have quite a bit of agents leavings because they're frustrated with
the job. Guys that and girls that probably wouldn't have retired, but are as soon as they hit that that point where they can retire, they're walking out. And the other thing to preston were losing them to two different agencies, you know, these different other federal agencies, and so you know, they they they're frustrated with what's happening and what's what's still happening, So they're they're looking elsewhere. Yeah, but really, do we want to go work
for the federal government somewhere else? At least for now? I know, I know. And then and it's sad because you know, in my career we got into agents that you know, either that that I knew or that had were agents in the past. And the one thing they always said is that, man, I wish I could be back out in the field. I really miss being out in the field. Well, you left to these agencies. Why did you leave? You know, you should have stayed out,
you know, you should have wrote it out. But well, let me ask you this, if, if if Donald Trump is returned to office, do you expect there to be a surge in those that are willing to serve on the border. I would hope so, Preston, And and I'm I'm banking not that the recruitment recruiters are doing a good job of doing that outreach, which they are, I would hope so. But it's got It's
not going to be an overnight. It's gonna take them. It's gonna take a while before you can start to see that those numbers of every increase of agency. But don't forget, you know, you have your local agencies, and some of these local agencies and even counties are offering a lot of money
too to these people, you know, to the same applicants. So you you know, an applicant now in today's in today's world for law enforcement, they can pick and choose where they want to go because there there's there's there's money being thrown around signing bonuses. All right, is always it's great visiting with you. My best to you and your family is Zeus and thanks for
the time. Thank you for chick here. Hey, Zeus Rodriguez. I'll point out up at five am before five am local time in Arizona to join us live here on the Morning Show with Preston Scott. Twenty seven minutes past the album Guy, do what you're talking about? It's the Morning Show with
Preston Scott. Big Stories in the press box. This story that I've referenced this morning comes from the Blaze Blaze Media because there is nothing public yet about the oversight project digging into the geolocation of phones associated with the shooter of Donald Trump. And you'll notice I've yet to use his name. I will not use his name, and I regret that the Heritage Foundation is using his name, and I will do everything possible to convince them to stop. We don't
need his name. We can talk about where he worked, we can talk about where he went. Anyway, The investigation is showing, most notably, any phone using public geolocation data, and it is public. You don't need a warrant, you don't need any kind of special permission, and they are able to basically determine phones that are pinging certain locations, that are located in
certain places. What is most notable that I will mention here is that a phone that was pinging where he worked in June of twenty twenty three, was pinging multiple times at a place called Gallery Place, Chinatown's metro station in Washington, DC. What is significant about that eleven story mixed use building is that it not only has retail, it has restaurants. It also houses offices for
the FBI. And so you start to then get to and I draw on my experience serving six months as a grand juror, you start to look at things as they're laid out circumstantially, and what are the odds that a phone that was routinely in that FBI office would have paid a visit to where this young man worked in twenty twenty three? Why Why does a nineteen year old get a visit? It's just one part of the story. Again, the
Blaze media has it. The headline, you can look it up is phone associated with would be assassin pinged near FBI DC offices in twenty twenty three. There's more information in there that is a bit of a problem. Again, does it definitively say plot? No? Does it add more weight to the concern of a conspiracy of a plot by people inside our federal government? Yes, it does. It does do that. Speaking of the director of the Secret Services step down. What changed her mind? I'm just I'm just curious.
She was very defiant. The woman behind Trump is not a member of the FBI, at least not an assistant director, which was alleged. Was her action? Actions were there? Were her actions unusual? Absolutely? Do they cause you to go hmm, absolutely, But it's not an assistant director or the FBI named Jenna di Giuseppe. It's not her. Then there's this
little tidbit which I'll just mention in just real quickly. Climate change activists are now saying saying that because of climate change, we're going to have longer days. Seven years ago, global warming meant we were going to have shorter days. I wish they'd make up their mind on this settled science. Forty minutes after the hour, It's Wednesday show fifty two to two of the Morning Show with Preston Scott. It's the Morning Show with President Scott. Forty two minutes
past the hour. This is from Gateway Pundit, and this is spectacular. I'm just going to read it. If you've ever entertained the thought that you'd be willing to pay Joe Biden more to step stop wrecking America than you would to let him remain president. I have good news for you. You and I will be This is true story, Biden said, quoting And while it has been my intention to seek reelection, I believe it is in the best interests of my party in the country for me to stand down and focus solely
on fulfilling my duties as president for the remainder of my term. Now, most former presidents make a lot of money. In fact, they probably make in a month, if not order what they make in an entire year is serving as president. And that's if we just set aside any shall we say, special deals and see. One of the reasons why Trump is so intriguing to so many people is he has money. He doesn't need anything they have. And to those of you that hate the guy, I'm just gonna ask
you, what's in it for him? Well, his ego is that big? Really to get shot and killed? Really? Anyway, Brisma's not gonna pay him any more money. China's not gonna be paying Biden any more money. Do you think anyone's gonna spend a dime to bring him in to give a speech? The human rumba? He'll get lost on the way to the
lectern and he'll be sitting in the chair next to it. No, no, no, no, But the National Taxpayers Union has found out that when you add his congressional pension, which runs from when he was elected to office in nineteen seventy three to his departure as vice president, that's his congressional pension. Then he gets another pension for being president. You know what his salary
is as president, four hundred thousand dollars a year. Honestly, when you look at it, if you have a good president, that's a steal. That's a steal. That said, he's going to have a retirement of four hundred and thirteen thousand dollars. He's going to make more money from his congression and presidential pension. Yes, he's allowed to double dip. Then he's being paid to be president. Only in America do we pay people like members of
Congress this much money. We incentivize people staying in office. That really needs to be discussed. That really needs to be discussed. Forty six minutes after the hour, final note coming next one last time. What he has say, friends, whether you are in Panama City or tallahassee the surrounding area. We are asking you to drop off box fans one last time today from noon
until five. They run between twenty and twenty five bucks a new, unopened box fan, and it will be donated donated to Bay County Council on Aging and PC and Eldercare services here in TLH for senior adults on fixed incomes that just need a little bit of a breeze because during hot summer months they can't afford to run their conditioning as much as they might like, and so as a result of being on a fixed income, we're just trying to help.
Now, you can certainly stroke a check. You can reach out to either of those organizations online or in person or over the phone and arranged to make a donation and tell them it's for box fans if you like, or you can just drop one off. We're going to be making the delivery to either of our studios in Panama City on Lizzenby Avenue eighteen thirty four listenby avenue. And here in Tallassee three twenty five John Knox Road, and that's Building G
here you come to the left side of the building. But from noon to five local time, we would really appreciate you pitching in. We're not taking cash. We will not accept cash at either location, and we really don't want you to write a check and give it to us. We probably would prefer you to just reach out and donate directly to them, mail them a check, drop off a check to them, or get on the phone, or go online and give a donation with your card. But it's just our
way of trying to help out and make a difference. Now, next year, we're going to try to do this in April or May, probably May, and try to get ahead of it a little bit. We got a late start, but my thanks to Jared, who is our backup producer here on the radio program, who brought the idea to me and I said, oh yeah, let's do this. This is a this is a no brainer,
a way to really help out people that could use the assistance. So again today noon to five, one last effort to get some more Box fans, and we would greatly appreciate it. Brought to you by Barono Heating and Air. It's the Morning Show one on WFLA. All right, we started the day with Matthew fifteen thirteen talking about you being a little salty, And I'm not talking about your language. We've been working on that, haven't we. Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks, what you
place in comes out. Our big stories today, looking back at the program in one hundred and eighty seconds or last, Kim Cheatles step down. She probably got just sick and tired of being in the butt of all the jokes and all the questions and all the rumors and all the innuendos, and in fact realized that she was incompetent. And you know, and if there's something deeper going on and she wasn't involved in it, she didn't know about it. She's not going to go down over this. She's not going to have
this on her watch. It's going to be interesting to see who Joe picks, because this is an issue where Republicans and Democrats are on the same page,
which is fascinating to me. Blaze Media reporting that the Heritage Foundation something called the Oversight Project has expanded its reach into a geolocation investigation on the shooter's phones, phones meaning phones that are associated with the shooter, either personally or through interaction, and they're learning things and it's disturbing the new conspiracy theory that's been kicked around about a woman who acted kind of weird sitting behind Trump.
Yeah, she did. She did act weird, but she's not the person that everyone's assigning to this. She is not FBI Assistant director Janine Djiseppe. It's just not her, And so we're just kind of putting that to rest. We're not gonna invite that conversation any further. Climate change really, so excessive heat is making the days longer? Why just seven years ago, excessive heat was making the days shorter? So, which is it settled science?
Tomorrow we're going to tackle the question Trump's supporters be Christians. Really, we're gonna take it on
