Transcript

Hi, good morning, Welcome to the radio program. It's good to be with you such an idiot. Good morning friends, Welcome Tuesday. It is It is July twenty third Morning Show with Preston Scott Show fifty two one. That's right, we are here yet again. And over there running the radio program is Jose Can you see? And again the story is coming it trust me, it will, it will unfold. But it's great to be with

you this morning. I've just got to stop. I've got to be very very tunnel vision right now because I could just get so distracted by everything that's going on around us. So I've just got to zero in first John four verse nineteen. We love because he first loved us years ago. And I mean, it's as the kids like to say, it's been a minute.

I remember when I would put my oldest son, Jamison, on a stool in front of the kids in our youth and college group, and and I would say to the kids, how much do you think I love this little guy? And because they you know, I'm I'm kind of an affectionate parent. I like hugging my kids. To this day when I go to bed, I have this habit of texting my kids most nights, just saying hey, I love you, but I always whenever we interact, I always want

my kids to know their dad loved them. Now. That capacity, I believe comes from my understanding and relationship with Christ. And let me go back to that sitting my little guy in front of the young people, and I would ask this question, how much would I have to love you, each and every one of you, to to allow that little guy to die so

that you all could live? By looking at my son right there, knowing how much I loved the little guy who's now a man, and I love him even more as I do all of our children, I think for those that were there, for many, it was a bit of a light bulb

moment. For God so loved the world he gave his only son we love because he God first loved us. When Jesus served up communion the last Supper with his disciples, even the one who would be a traitor to him, he lifted the coup and he gave thanks because he knew that the work he was going to do on the cross would be enough that it would make a way for you and me. Whatever capacity you have to love, if you struggle with that I would submit that maybe you are struggling on the front end.

If you struggle conveying your love and affection for those that deep down you do love, I would say you're struggling receiving the love that God has for you. Just just a thought. Ten past the hour, take a peek inside the American Patriots Almanac, start to unpack the program. These are surreal times, my friends, and it's The Morning Show with Preston Scott. The

Morning Show with Preston Scott. Paul Dreason Today from Sea Fact talk about a Supreme Court case that will be heard in the fall that is really impactful. It's probably not on your radar. We'll give you a little update on July thirteenth. Of course, we've got the big stories in the press box. We've got an interaction between Congresswoman Nancy Mace of South Carolina and Kim Cheadle, director of the Secret Service, that I'm just going to play in its entirety.

I did have to edit it for radio and not for time, but for other reasons. That's coming up. Let's first look in the American Patriots Almanac, and here's what we have. Not a lot July twenty third, seventeen fifteen, Massachusetts authorizes the building of the Boston Light, the first lighthouse constructed in America, seventeen fifteen. I know that the answer is available. I'm just I'm I'm thinking out loud. Was that just candlepower magnified behind glass?

Had to be right? I mean that that had to be seventeen fifteen. Did they put a little bonfire in there in the lighthouse. That's just it's interesting to me. I'm going to look that up in the break because I'm now fascinated by that. Eighteen eighty five, Ulysses S. Grant dies in Mount McGregor, New York, eighteenth US President. By the way, I highly recommend if you have not ever seen it, the History Channel kind

of docuseries on Ulysses S. Grant called Grant. It follows his career, his life from beginning to end, and I was blown away by what a tactical genius this guy was in military warfare, just a stud and it explains why we finally prevailed. The good guys won the Civil War because of Grant. Grant's ability to see the battlefield differently than anybody else is documented in this mini series, and it's brilliant. I just if you get the chance to

see it. And on this date in two thousand, Tiger Woods won the British Open at the age of twenty four, becoming the youngest golfer to win the career Grand Slam. The age of twenty four, he had polished off the Masters, the PGA, the US Open and the British Open. That's amazing. Now, Jack Nicholas is still the best. You know. You could argue that Tiger Woods has had the greatest impact on the game of golf since its founding. Jack is still the champion of champions. The record just

doesn't lie. And I want to say Jack Nicholas not only won eighteen Majors, he came in second, like nineteen or twenty times second. That's just that's unbelievable. But I tip my cap to Tiger. Tiger is saying the right things now. I've there was a time I didn't think Tiger could could ever win another tournament, and then of course he proved me wrong and won the Masters back in twenty nineteen, and I was very happy for him.

Though he still needs Jesus in his life, I would say that he's coming closer to understanding that if he wants to be something other than a sympathetic past champion, he's got to play golf. He can't play just four times a year in the majors and a tournament or two with his son and expect to be competitive because he's not. He's not competitive. Can he be? Absolutely? I actually do believe he can be. But he's gonna have to play

more tournaments. He's going to have to play two or three times before each major, at least two times I think before each major to be tournament ready. And at least he's now starting to talk about that, which is which is good? All right, sixteen past the hour, come back and start getting getting our minds right for the Olympics. Maybe twenty one past the hour. It's about twenty two past morning. Friends. Getting enough rain. I'll

tell you what. It's great for the water bill, because my water bill just blew up in May and early June. It was just ridiculous. But the rain is very welcome to me. Now I could I could use with a little bit of a of a break and maybe a day or two without so much. But good for the water table, good for the lakes, good for the ponds. And good for the water bill. Like I said, great for the lawn. So that's good. The Olympics coming up.

They will start next week. I did a commentary on the US Olympic team in their first tune up, rallying from a sixteen point deficit to beat South Sudan in men's basketball by one point. Now, on the surface, you might think, yeah, what's your point. Here's my point. There's some guys, not all of them, but there's some players out there that took a knee during the national anthem. There's a head coach who took an there

are other coaches on the staff that took a knee. I have great admiration for Steve Kerr, the basketball player and coach, and I feel bad because Steve's life was dramatically changed. My dad knows Steve. My dad knew Steve. My dad obviously passed away many years ago, but he knew Steve when he played college basketball at the University of Arizona. You might not know this, but Steve Kerr's dad was shot and killed by an assassin when he was

president of American University in the Middle East. I want to say it was berout, but I could be mistaken. Bottom line is Steve Kerr's dad was assassinated, and I've always got a place in my heart for Steve on that regard. He kind of hates America. Now he'll try to cover his tracks, but I can't help get past the idea that you've got South Sudan. The country's thirteen years old. That's how they are competing in their first Olympics.

And I just have a feeling that most countries athletes don't hate their country, and I think we have some athletes that do. They're happy to make millions of dollars. Are they worth what they're getting paid only if the market pays them. I don't begrudge a guy making money off whatever he can do. That's fine. People like Lebron James have never answered or accounted for their connections to China. I e. Nike and how Nike makes their gear.

I have some Nike gear, nothing new, it's all old. But I just wonder is it too much to ask that we just bring athletes that love our country, coaches that love our country, that aren't embarrassed of our country, that hate our country? Why are we hiring and paying for them? I don't I don't understand that. The other Olympics story, and I'm sure there will be some great stories. I just just compare South Sudan and the

US Dream Team, whatever version this is. There shouldn't be a team on the planet in this Olympics that can stay on the court with the Americans. But there's a difference in these other countries. They are more team oriented, and I believe they love their country more and I think it shows up on the court. The other thing I wanted to point out is Instagram is censoring the accounts of at least one or more para Olympians that are on the US

shooting teams. Not just a Paralympian, but others that are in the regular Olympic team. There's the Paralympics and the regular Olympic team because they're posing with their firearms that they use in competition, and so Instagram's cut their accounts. Instagram, by the way, is meta. Meta is Facebook. This is the kind of crap that keeps me off these channels, and it's just not going to stop. The centering just is not going to stop. So keep

that in mind as we moved towards the election. Twenty seven minutes past the hour. Big stories in the press box, definitely worth hanging around for in the morning show. Right them at Preston at iHeartRadio dot com. Yes he knows how to read. Well, actually its producer reads him. He doesn't know how to read. Welcome to the Morning Show with Preston Scott thirty five past the hour. We'll have some sound for you next hour. From the

It wasn't testimony. It was stonewalling Kim Cheadle, the director of the Secret Service, in front of the House Oversight Committee, and it was ugly. She got absolutely drilled by both sides of the aisle. I mean, even Alexandria Cassio Cortes trashed. The notion of a report on the Trump assassination tempt coming out in sixty days when the threat environment is so high in the United States irrespective of party, is not acceptable. Wait, what did AOC put

on her big girl pants and a girl how about that? Anyway? Big stories in the press box, This comes from town Hall. Matt vespa idd the three red flags in the testimony, and I think they're worth noting. Number one, she would not say that the would be assassin, the unnamed shooter who we can't get people to stop using this little Cretan's name. And I'm sorry for the parents, I am, but the world needs to forget this kid ever exist, never know his name. The attempted shooter, Cheetah

would not say that he was the lone gunman. Isn't that interesting? Red Flag Number two, She would not disclose how many spent shellcasings were found on the roof. That is huge? Why? Well, there are a lot of people that think there were eight shots fired from in this shooting, and then another one or two from the snipers on the south side, not the ones that are in most of the videos that you see. They didn't have line of sight. They were behind trees. There was a tree and they

couldn't see the guy. It's the other shooters that had the longer shot that got the job done. How many bullet shellcasings are sitting there next to his dead body? That number says everything. Why because the audio can be now matched to shots fired. You have a specific number of shots fired. Are there eight shellcasings or are there six? Or are there five? Or are there three? It matters? Third red flag, No one in the agency

has been disciplined, And she refuses to step down. Another update on this, The school he attended said he was not bullied. They have no record of him being bullied, no reports of him being bullied, and he was not, as has been reported in some circles, a member of the rifle team at the local school. He never tried out. There's no record of it. Now, one last little tidbit here, as we suspected what happen.

The Department of Justice is appealing Judge Eileen Cannon's dismissal of the Trump document case in Florida. And I welcome it. I welcome the appeal because they violated the law in appointing Jack Smith. And so the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals will now hear the government's argument on the dismissal by a US District judge. And so I think that's good news. I said they're going to appeal

it, and they have. I think it's terrific news. Always remember the Left avoids some cases going up the chain because they don't want the president. They don't want it in front of the Supreme Court, they don't want it in the appellate. This one, I had a feeling they would. I don't think if the appellate rules in favor of Judge Cannon. I don't think they pursue it any further. But that's just me. Forty minutes past the hour an example of it never stops WFLA. Yeah, I can't help but

think that. And this is the worst side of me. When Cheetle says I will make it my mission words to this effect that something like what happened on July thirteenth never happens again, my mind immediately says, what you mean, they missed and you'll make sure that doesn't happen again. I mean, I'm sorry. See that's what I mean. That's me. That's where we are today. I never would have thought that way. But what other conclusions can you come to with? She and may Orchis will not testify today.

And I'm like, how dare you you two work for us? Congress represents us. You ever heard the expression the people's house? How dare you grounds for dismissal? Right there, I think if no other reason, you put Trump back an office to get the January sixth people out of prison, and you fire all these people, you fire them all, Go ahead, go on the talk circuit, earn money on CNN. And MSNBC go away. By the way, have you noticed how they keep using the shooter picture from

when he was a kid in high school? I mean, poor guy photo taken on a bad day. We've all had it, We've all did class photo day and not looked real good. I got class photos that are like, oh, sweet goodness, what was I thinking? And this poor kid, I mean, bad skin and a bad, bad blister on his upper lip. Just why the before picture though? Why not the after? It's almost like they're trying to homogenize him a little bit, you know, clean him up a little bit. Just now. This never changes, It just

never stops. John King with Anderson Cooper on CNN. Cooper asked about the pros and cons of Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro Josh Shapiro being a vice presidential nominee. Apparently Kamala has got the nomination wrapped up. She's got enough. Apparently it didn't take long. I'm just shocked that they're gonna roll Kamala Harris, They're gonna roll the country can't stand Joe, not just because he's a feebling

guy. That's not why they can't stand him. They can't stand him because a they lied about it all the time, and now the I mean, it was just weeks ago we were hearing how sharp and vibrant Joe Biden was, and now they're putting him out the pasture. I put a blog up. It was actually a hilarious memes sent to me by one of the research assistants, and I put the meme up and it says on my post in the early running for best meme of the year, whoever made this the happy

meal is on me. Here's the meme. It's a picture of Joe Biden looking bewildered, and it says Biden was almost full term, so the Democrats had to abort him. That's a brilliant meme. That is a brilliant meme. But they're going to roll out Kamala anyway. We'll have all kinds of time about that and more on that tomorrow. John King says this about Josh Shapiro. He's a first term governor. He's Jewish. There could be some risks in putting him on the ticket, but certainly some of our voters here

in Pennsylvania said, hey, we like Governor Shapiro. Give him a look. He's Jewish. I'm just going to read some comments and response. Stop anti Semitism, wrote, replace Jewish with Muslim or black m C. An end point of view, being almost any minority group in politics is historic and

a milestone. Being Jewish in politics is risky and controversial. Another it says a lot about the state of American politics, and perhaps especially in progressive circles, that one of the cons of a Kamala Harris selecting Governor Josh Shapiro as her VP is that he's Jewish. In the pushback he might receive, here's my point where the identity politics always on the left. Conservatives don't care. I don't care that Barack Obama is half black, half white, half whatever.

I don't care. I don't care that Hillary Clinton wasn't one. I don't care. They were just bad, are just wrong. That's all I care about. They were bad at their job, they were wrong at what they believe. That's all I care about anyway. Just the identity politics, the Big ten, all that nonsense. It's it's it's a it's fictitious on the left. Forty seven minutes after the Army back with some good news for Southwest Airlines flyers America can handle the truth. You need him on that radio

nine to noon on WFLA. Boy, if you're flying, I hope by now you know call first. Because most of the airways airlines out there, Delta certainly, and Delta is a big carrier in and around our area, but Delta, American, Spirit, Frontier, United, Allegiant all having issues because of the system problem involving CrowdStrike. However, Ups, no problem, fed X, no problem. Southwest Airlines not one disruption. Why because they're

using Windows three point one. They're using an operating system that's thirty two years old, and it wasn't it didn't have the problem. Now you can make the argument they sure ought to be upgrading their system. But this problem that's affecting everything from Starbucks to whatever your flight is, wherever you're going, for the most part, is not touching Southwest Airlines. They haven't lost a single flight. And so those of you in the Panama City area, you know

south West flies in and out of PC. Some are attributing the Windows three point one issue because the Southwest systems are built on Windows ninety five and Windows three point one. And even though the company has been made fun of over the years, they they tried to just they've just stayed with what's working, and so for right now, that's what's working. Yeah. I think it's kind of funny because all the modern hacking that's going on out there is designed

for the new systems. It's just it's something that's interesting to me. The guy with that old monochromatic monitor and the old original language running their computer is just he's just having no problems at all. But there's another problem with Southwest that maybe the other airlines aren't happening having to deal with. At least twenty flight attendants have been injured this summer working for Southwest Airlines. Why because summer

heat is causing soda cans to explode on the flights. Cans are becoming too hot before they're loaded on board, and then I guess when they get the pressure in altitude, it's causing a problem. So yeah, so they're trying to figure out how to deal with that. I would imagine maybe just not let the cans get so hot. That might be a good start. I don't know. Hey, when we come back a long segment to start the first hour, we're gonna go a little long because you gotta hear it,

yous. Congresswoman Nancy Mace talks it out with the head of the Secret Service yesterday in the House Oversight Committee. You gotta hear it. It's next on the Morning Show with Preston Scott. We are not wasting any time. How things go yesterday with the House Oversight Committee and they're sitting down with Kim Cheadle, director of the Secret Service in its entirety. South Carolina Congresswoman Nancy Mace, thank you, mister Chairman, Director Cheadle. The American people are watching

and they're wondering if there are any questions you can answer honestly today. So Director Cheatle, I have a series of questions, very specific questions. I want very specific answers. Most of my questions are going to demand a yes or no answered. A colossal failure? It was a failure? Yes or no? Was it a colossal failure? Is the question? Yes or no? I have admitted this is a this is a yes or no series of questions. Was this a colossal failure? Yes or no? Yes? Was

this tragedy preventable? Yes or no? Yes? Has a Secret Service been transparent with this committee? Yes? Would you say the fact that we had to issue us AB poena to get you to show up today as being transparent. Yes or no? I have always been yes or no. You didn't want to answer the question. We had to issue au supoena to get you to show up today. That is not transparent. By the way, you stated earlier, Secret Service is not political? Is that correct? Yes?

Okay? Would you say leaking your opening statement to punch Bowl News, Politico's Playbook, and Washington Post several hours before you sent it to this committee as being political? Yes? Or no? I have no idea how my statement

got out. Well, that's both, So, mister Chairman, I would like to ask unanimous consent to enter into the record articles by punch Bowl News, Political Playbook, Washington Post all done at five twenty four am, six twelve am, six thirty four am, a solid three to four hours before this committee got your statement with that objection to ordered. Okay, is a Secret Service fully cooperating with our committee? Yes? Okay, you say you're

fully cooperating with this committee. On July fifteenth, this Committee since you a list of demands of information that we wanted. Has the Secret Service provided this committee a complete list of all law enforcement personnel that were there that day. Have you done that? Have you provided a list to the Oversight Committee? Yes? Or no? I will have to get back to you on that. That is a no. Have you provided all audio and video recordings in

your possession to this committee as we asked on July fifteenth? Yes? Or no? I would have to get back to you. That is a no. You're full of today. You're just being completely dishonest. Mister. We have to maintain this committee any Do you provide any memos to this committee that we've asked you on July fifteenth? Have you provided all memorandums within the Secret Service? I would have to get back to you. That is a no. You are being dishonest or lying. I just you're being dishonest here with

this committee. These are important questions that the American people want answers to, and you're just you're just dodging and talking around it in generalities. And we had a subpoena you to be here and you won't even answer the questions. We have asked you repeatedly to answer our questions. This isn't hard. These are not hard questions. Have you provided us all communications from the Secret Service? Related to that day in that rally. Have you provided this Comman,

We've asked for this information on July fifteenth. Have you provided any of this information that this committee has asked of the Secret Service? Any of it? I'll have to get back to you. Have you even read this letter that we sent you? Did you even read this? Yes? Okay? And you have said you don't know, you have no ideal. The answer is no. We haven't gotten a single document or piece of information or data from you or your agency and related to the rally that we have asked you for.

So is this was this attempted assassination of Donald trumpet failure of training or execution or both? I think that those are answers that we need to training as executioner both which one? I think those are answers, all right? How many Secret Service personnel have lost their jobs due to this colossal failure at this time? None? How many Secret Service personnel have been required to take a refresher course on how not to let people shoot Donald Trump. Our personnel

are currently operational. We are examining the facts of this investigation and we will make the changes. Nest What time did law enforce and become aware that there was an individual on the roof with a clear line of site to President Trump. I am still verifying timelines. Of course, nine days in you have no answers. How many minutes went by between the time law enforcement saw and took photos of the shooting. How many minutes I am still verifying fifth timeline

seven minutes. Thank you, mister chairman, and I yield back. Nancy Mays, congresswoman from South Carolina. More to come on The Morning Show with Preston Scott. This is the Morning Show with Preston Scott. Come on, friends, let's all sing. If you read something insane, I probably did it again. I'm father foot. The bloggers go ahead and google my name. Google my name. Now theres o me into the sins I have committed and we all feel better when we have somebody everybody, Yeah, yeah,

yeah, Juniper, Juniper. Jupiter police arrested Michael W. Wiseman. What did this numbskull do? Well? In the tradition of a Florida man, he decided that let's go ahead, after Donald Trump survives an actual assassination attempt, let's go ahead and threaten the life of Donald Trump. JD Vance and their families. He made multiple written threats on Facebook against Trump, and vance threats were also made concerning bodily harm against members of Trump and the Van's families,

and so he was arrested without incident. I can hear some of you going, why are you saying his name? Because he's just an idiot. He's one of those keyboard warriors that are out there that are just dumb, and he's going to find himself probably with some less than comfortable accommodations. I would think that where he's going will not be as pleasant as he's accustomed to. And that's just fine. So there's our Florida man story for the day. Let me circle back to the Q and A here, how many bullet

casings were found? Have you you know what? She was asked? Have you been to the site? No? What it's It's been how many days and you haven't been there. You're the director of the Secret Service and the single most fatal blunder of the Secret Service since JFK was shot and killed, and you haven't been there to do a site evaluation yourself, to look at the site and go, how in the world did we not have somebody there?

Pitch of the roof, Are you kidding me? And maybe the biggest look, We'll have all kinds of the file that I'm pulling together on this is massive, and on my blog page there's all kinds of stuff that will help you. I'm gonna probably add another video, just something when we find something that I think offers some content that's worthwhile. I put something up yesterday. I'm gonna give you an analysis that I received of that video next hour.

But when, regardless of all of the mistakes, they knew fifty minutes or so away from Trump being on stage they had a problem. There's a kid with a range finder and he's gone missing. We've got a call from set of parents that are worried about their son. They've got a gun missing. Then we get a little closer and we've got a photo of a guy missing. We don't know where he is. This could be an issue. At that moment, you put someone on the roof of every building. You

say, look, I appreciate you doing doing traffic. Forget traffic. We need you to pull some guys and just get some guys on these roofs, every single roof here and that water tower. Make sure they're armed, and get somebody on every roof in this area. Second thing you do, you don't let Trump take the stage. You don't let him get to the X mark. That's the point where protective services they basically they refer to it as an X. That's where the person's going to be. The potential target is

going to be at that X. You don't let him get there. Trump was never told a thing you don't let him go on stage. He does three hour rallies. For Pete's sake, what's fifteen minutes, twenty minutes? Whatever? This is growing the Secret Service director, the head of Homeland Security. You know what I envision. I'll share that next morning show with Preston

Scott. Seventeen minutes after the hour my Hearts radio station, I had a thought as I was listening to Congresswoman Nancy Mace set the story I was going to do in this segment I got to set aside because I'm going to talk about something else and this questioning that the House Oversight Committee is engaging in with

the head of the Secret Service, Kim Cheatle. I was immediately taken back to one of my It's one of the iconic scenes in movies, and it's a movie called A Few Good Men where Tom Cruise is playing Lieutenant Daniel Caffey. He's a prosecutor with jagcar I think he's Jaggar. Yeah, And he decides he's going to call to the stand to examine, to cross examine Colonel Nathan Jessop played by Jack Nicholson, And the questions start getting a little more

intense. They just some very light questioning up front, and then they get more more intense and more intense and more intense, and and then there's this big exchange where Caffy says, to paraphrase to the colonel, I want the truth and Jessep says, you can't handle that truth, son, you have no And then the whole thing happens, right and then did you order a cord code red? You're blah blah blah bye ordered a code red? He rattled him into admitting the truth. Remember that scene. Some of you are

like, oh, yeah, a great scene. That scene alone is worth buying the movie for. It's a It's a terrific movie, by the way, You ever seen it, Jose You ever seen the movie? No? I have not. Yeah, turn your follume out, buddy, Yeah, you got you got to turn there you go you oh man, gotta see it, got to see it. Some of you, many of you are nodding your head up and down. Great scene from the movie. All right, here's what I envision the questions. Maybe it's Nancy Mace, maybe it's

Jim Jordan, Jim Jordan's guy. I just kind of picture just firing question, question, question, question, question, Although he would be then vilified for picking on this woman, right all of a sudden, She's a woman. Now, that's so mean, badgering this woman. Whatever, So let's let Nancy Mace do it. And she's just how you know how many rifle casings were on the roof of the building where the shooter was, how many? How many minutes went by? How many did that? I want the

truth? And she's and and and the kim cheetles just getting rattled and rattled and rattled. And I have this image in my head, this scene playing out in my head, and it goes something like this, we wanted him dead, and everybody's just like, oh, she said it out loud, Brendan Obama, Biden, no, wanting him dead. That's the scene that's playing in my head where she just cracks and she She's like, I'm doing

my job, and I doing my job and I do it again. I mean, it's just you can just it's like it's I think somewhere and I don't know if Kim Cheetle's in on it, I'd be shocked if she's not. But it's possible she wasn't. May Arcus that's another story. Alejandro Mayorcus is another story. Plausible deniability does exist for some plausible that doesn't make it

real, doesn't make it actual, doesn't make it factual. All I'm saying is I think, deep down some of these people are just wanting to say, yes, we tried to kill him, Yes we did, and if given the chance, we'll do it again. That's what I think. That's where I'm at. Too many questions, too many mistakes made one mistake, There were so many mistakes made in this protection of a former president and the leading candidate by the Republican Party. It's beyond on, it's beyond explanation.

That's reasonable. If this were a case, I think you could make a circumstantial case of a conspiracy right now, right now, and again, I'm just coming at it from my perspective. Twenty eight past the hour. Sorry, I had to let that scene. I just had to get it out. The Morning Show with Preston Scott on news Radio one hundred point SEVENBFLA getting a lot of email responses to our impromptu scene. Listeners sending memes that are

out there the roof. You can't handle the roof, says one meme, showing a still shot of Nathan Jessop from the movie A Few Good Men, and Garland wrote in the Secret Service motto should be we cannot handle the roof. Oh big stories in the press box, how to go yesterday? Well we played you, Nancy Mays. Let's go to the other side of the aisle and California Representative Rocanna, this is brilliant. You know, you know what Stuart Knight did when he was in charge at the time of the Secret

Service. Do you know what he did afterwards? He remained on duty, he resigned, he resigned, and Stuart Knight was not a Democratic appointee or a Republican appointee. Look, I'm not questioning your judgment, and I just don't think this iss part as and if you have an assassination attempt on a president, a former president, or a candidate, you need to resign. That's what Stuart Knight did. He was a Republican appointee and he took responsibility.

And I think you need to reflect. This is not a question of you, It's a question of the American people. You cannot go leading by the way that was the Reagan assassination attempt with John Hinckley a Secret Service agency. When there is an assassination attempt on a presidential candidate, I would say that about anyone who is running. And so I guess my question to you

is what's the difference between your position and what Stuart Knight did. What I will tell you, sir, is that I am dedicated to finding the answers to what happened, and like every Secret Service agent, we don't shirk from our responsibilities. I will remain on and be responsible to the agency, to this committee, to the former president, and to the American public. But is there a reason you wouldn't just do what Stuart Knight did after the Reagan

assassination attempt? I believe that I've provided an answer. There's nothing more that you have to say. I mean, do you really believe at this moment, given how divided the country is, and the questions asked that your service in this role is the best for the nation. I mean, I'm not saying you can't do public service again, you can't do something else again. Do you really, genuinely in your heart believe that you being in this role

is what's right for America at this moment? Yeah, she does. That's a Democrat, honestly, well done. Way to go. I say this with all sincerity and humility. I would have had the answers to the questions within forty eight hours. I would have had answers to the questions within forty eight hours, or people would have been fired, and I would have had a full briefing typed out handed out to members of Congress, to the Trump team, to the former president, to the Resident of the United States and

the Vice Resident. I would have had briefings handed to all of them if I legitimately wanted to know the answers. If I wasn't involved, what this looks like now is stalling for time, to cover tracks, to eliminate evidence, to let memories get a little murky. This stinks. Forty minutes past the hour, It's The Morning Show with Preston Scott got to make the time to make the case that Amendment four on the ballot cannot be passed. Honestly,

the marijuana Amendment shouldn't be passed. It's a disaster waiting to happen. But I accept that it probably will be, and also accept that there are legislative fixes to things that will limit the ability of people to smoke weed in their homes, in the presence of young people, and in subdivisions with housing densities at certain levels, so that we don't have to smell your stinky decision and we don't have to be affected by it in our health because secondhand marijuana

smoke is a health hazard. It is. I'm going to set that aside. It's Amendment four that needs to be focused on. Here's what it's called on your ballot, Amendment to limit government interference with abortion. Limit that in and of itself is misleading. I don't know how in God's name the majority of the Florida State Supreme Court got this wrong. But Justices, I hope some of you are listening, and I know some of you do, and your staff, you were wrong. Limit. It should have been worded Amendment

to end government Interference with abortion limit. Listen to the wording. This is what you're voting. This is what goes in the constitution. No law shall prohibit, penalize, delay, restrict abortion before viability. Stop there, What does viable mean? To find that for me? Because I have a story here of a little girl named Jalen Candelorio who was more than a year old and was left alone while her mom vacationed and died. Her mom left her

alone for a week and the baby died viable. Jalen wasn't viable at eighteen months, sixteen months, twenty four months. The ambiguity alone ends this debate. It goes on or when necessary to protect a patient's health health, please define that protect a patient's health define health, financial health, emotional health, psychological health as determined by the patient's health care provider, who's that is that

the person? And planned parenthood which makes money killing babies. This amendment does not change the legislature's constitutional authority to require notification to a parent or guardian before a minor has abortion. Oh big whoop. After all, we demand that a child get a parent re authorization to have tailand all at school. G We're gonna make sure that a parent has to be notified of an abortion by a minor. Do you see the problem, even if you think six weeks

is ridiculous? Do you see the problem even if you believe abortion should be extended through the first trimester, Even if you believe that I don't. But if you do, do you see that this is an extremist amendment. This cannot pass. Republican women, It's on you, saun you you will enshrine unlimited abortion. And if you vote for this honest, I say this with all sincerity. May God have mercy on your soul. This is extreme.

Forty seven minutes after mainly minute and more coming up next. Those serving communities as law enforcement officers and first responders, I say, you are all essential workers. Welcome to the Morning Show with Preston Scott. Earlier I talked about lamented might be a better word. I lamented the fact that we have too many athletes representing Team USA and the Olympics, that hey our country, and that I feel like it ought to be a requirement that you, at least

if some of our tax dollars, however minute support these programs. We got to at least expect that they care about and love this country, and so who's going to carry the flag for Team USA? Lebron James, one of the kneelers, guy who unapologetically makes millions from China, has nothing to say about Chinese policies, slave labor, the extermination of the wigers. I mean, I just, could we pick somebody out of what three hundred, two hundred, five hundred, I don't know how many are on that team?

Could we pick someone that at least loves this country a little bit? Is that too much to ask? I mean, what a great honor, James said in a statement, to represent the United States on this global stage, especially in a moment that can bring the whole world together. Yeah, you who took a knee. I'm sorry. I won't be watching the opening ceremonies. I will not. My wife's listening right now saying, oh no, I'll have to watch by myself. I will not watch, and I'm not

certain how much of the Olympics I will watch. Won't bother me if we get knocked out of men's basketball, won't bother me. If we get knocked out of women's basketball. Won't bother me. If we get knocked out of some of the contests, women's soccer, men's soccer. I just it won't. I'll be pulling for some individuals whose stories I know. And yeah, but anyway, time for mainly minute mail by birth man by choice. This kind of segue is right out of that. These are skills, virtues,

ideals, things to teach your son. Teach your son the Pledge of allegiance. Teach your son the history of this country. Go back to the Pilgrims and teach them why socialism isn't a really good idea because the Pilgrims actually tried it. They actually tried communism and it failed, and William Bradford wrote about it didn't work. Teach your son to appreciate, even with all of its flaws, what makes America different, well, at least historically, what made

you know I had? I've heard people say, when was America great? When Trump said make America great again? Some of you know the answer because I've talked about it. Some of you are new to the program. When was America great? Not perfect? Great? When we could solve problems? That's what makes America great Historically. We solve problems, at least we used to. Our Three is next The Morning Show with Preston Scott. All right,

great to have you with us this morning. It is the third and final hour, at least for today, of the Morning Show with Preston Scott and Preston He's ose. It is show fifty two to oh one, Yeah crazy right. Five thousand, two hundred and one of these things and about eight thousand plus interviews over the years. Always enjoy bringing good guests to you and talking about things that either are, have or will impact your life. And joining me today is Paul Dreesen. He's a senior policy analyst for Sea

Fact, which is the Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow. Paul, Welcome to the program. How are you, sir, I'm good, Preston, thanks

for having me. I appreciate you making time for me this morning, because when Judy sent me the notice on a case that the Supreme Court took up, it dawned on me that I think I'm like a lot of our listeners in that there are so many high profile cases out there, and they seem to be coming in greater numbers that a case like this doesn't seem to get much attention, but it is so vitally important to our day to day life. Explain to our listeners the case we're talking about and its significance. This

case involves something nobody ever heard of, probably the Surface Transportation Board. It has asserted it has control authority to control climate change and the use of fossil fuels. You know, the White House has been obsessively focused on climate change and eliminating fossil fuels since day one, and it wants every federal agency, from the EPA to the Fence Department to the Surface Transportation Board to be equally

focused on this. The questions are, do they have the authority, the congressional grant of authority in their statute that created them to do this, to focus obsessively on climate change? And do we face a real climate crisis? And will eradicating fossil fuels or even more so, will stopping this one little rail line and eighty eight mile rail line to make it easier to transport oil from a little place in Utah to main a major rail line and get it

down to the Gulf of Mexico for refining. Will that somehow prevent climate change or will it actually in effect damage a large part of the American economy and energy system by helping to eradicate climate change. So they're assuming essentially that if this oil is produced and transported, it will be burned and used and that will exacerbate dangerous man made climate change. Okay, I'm going to avoid the

temptation to the low egging for it to talk about that. I know not enough, Paul to know this had to This doesn't just arrive at the Supreme Court. What's happened in lower courts. That's a real key. For a long time, the courts just let the federal agencies do pretty much whatever they

wanted to do. But then along came this Supreme Court which passed which rendered a decision in West Virginia versus the Environmental Protection Agency or EPA, and that said that any agency trying to address major questions and impacts from a federal agency decision has to be specifically authorized by Congress. And there's a whole lot of questions when it gets into eliminating fossil fuels and trying to prevent climate change worldwide.

Then they had another one under the Clean Water Act that said the agencies have to follow something called the Administrative Procedures Act. But then recently a case involving a fishing boat of all things, which is even less smaller operation than a railroad line. Said that the federal agencies can't simply step in and make all these decisions. That it doesn't have to be just a major decision. It has to be Any decision by these federal agency has to be made by

grant of authority by Congress. And there doesn't seem to be any authority for this Surface Transportation Board to regulate on matters involving supposed climate change. Paul standby, We got to take a quick break, come back in ninety seconds with more. Paul Dreason with Sea Fact. We're talking about a very important Supreme Court case that Scotus is going to take up this fall. We'll talk about more next on the Morning Show with Preston Scott. Good morning, and welcome

to the Morning Show with Preston Scott. Paul Drewson with us from Sea Fact, where he's a senior policy analyst that is Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow. We're talking about a small, little eighty eight mile long rail line in eastern

Utah connecting oil producers in the area to a rail network. It got put on hold by the DC District Court of Appeals, Paul, how did it get to the District Court of Appeals and who then is appealing that ruling to an essence, try to curtail the ability of these bureaucrats to run our country. Yeah, it got to the DC Court of Appeals because a group of transportation people brought a lawsuit trying to get this Surface Transportation Board's decision reversed.

And the d C Circuit being probably the certainly one of, if not the top left wing you could say, certainly progressive, certainly very liberal courts in all the country. They chose that court a because it's in DC with all the federal agencies, but more importantly because they figured they could get a decision supporting them all these various and environmental groups Sierra Club, the Center for Biological Diversity and groups like that that are all banking on climate change as a reason

for banning all these fossil fuel operations around the country. So it ends up in the DC Circuit, which rules, of course in favor of the environmental groups. And now we have a coalition of transportation groups, railroad and truck groups and so forth working together to try to get it reversed by taking it straight to the Supreme Court. Does it tell you anything that there were enough justices willing to hear the case that they're going to get it? Uh?

Yeah, four were in favor of taking the case. Obviously, if it would have been three, they wouldn't have taken the case and this would have gone nowhere. The DC Circuit decision would have stood. But I think you can kind of say that this means the court may well rule against these environmental

groups and the federal agencies. More to the point, I think, is the fact that they had these recent cases that ruled against the federal agencies and their overreach, their desire to be involved in every facet of our lives, not just the drooling and production and transportation of oil, but whether what kind of car we can drive and how far we can drive it, what kind of house we can live in, whether our house can have a gas stove,

gas water heater. All those sorts of things are being dictated by this cabal of federal agencies in Washington. Yeah, it gets back to I would think that the people opposing this rail right now are probably a little concerned because the Supreme Court is seemingly drawn a line in the sand and say no, there are responsibilities that belong to the executive, to the legislative, and to the judicial, and we're going to get back to defining those lines better.

Precisely. Is your organization do you file an amicus on this? Are you? How are you involved if at all? In the actual case before the Supreme Court. We're involved more from following this particular one we have written. I have written several amikas briefs for the Supreme Court on other related cases back to the West Virginia case, for example, control of climate change generally.

But we are following this and trying essentially to make people aware of this case and the whole factor of climate change as a way to shut down our fossil fuels that are still eighty two percent of all the energy we use in the United States, and the foundation for six thousand products, every plastic, every pharmaceutical, paints, you name it, to look around your house, it's from fossil fuels, from oil and natural gas, of fertilizers and pesticides on

farms. Everything we use is in one way or another involved with fossil fuel production. And talk about an inconvenient fact to the environmentalist extremists out there. Paul, thanks so much for the time this morning. I greatly appreciate it. My pleasure, Priston, Thank you, sir, Paul Dreason with Sea Fact our guest. Again. That's a case that's way under the radar because you're like, Okay, it's an eighty eight mile rail line in the middle

of well, actually you know where that is. It's real close to the Skinwalker Ranch. Just saying and you're like, some what difference. It's a huge deal. That's why the Supreme Court's taking it. It is a consequential case. And of course you heard about it probably here first on the Morning Show with Preston Scott Ihearts Radio station. More and more developments on the shooting on July thirteenth. There is information coming out now about and I'm gonna be

very broad here. You should know that I'm not all that interested in breaking news. I get, needless to say, a lot of you that are really scouring the internet and you send me leads left and right, and don't stop. I appreciate all of them, but I hope you understand that I try not to just throw anything out there without doing some due diligence and checking and and so there are stories that happen sometimes and I don't get to them

for a few days. Early on, in the wake of the shooting, a bunch of people are asking about who was the lady behind Trump in the hat? What was that all about? She was weird. Well, she's a dentist. She's tentatively been a dentis and tomorrow on the show, we're going to talk about that. I want to do some more digging. But what if I told you a person right behind Trump videotaping and not doing what everybody else was doing was an assistant director for the FBI. That's the claim.

I've got some more looking for this. But questions were being raised about her behavior because while everyone's doing this, she's doing that. Now a lot of people are looking at at some other aspects, and I don't necessarily agree with some of that analysis, but we'll get to that on my blog page. Right now, I have an analysis of the audio of the shooting. And what makes it significant I've told you is that the audio is evidence that

we all have access to. A gazillion people recorded it. They were videotaping Trump's remarks, They captured the shooting audible audible audio on their phones, on their recording devices. Video that was being shot by the networks captured at all. It's all there. So I sent this analysis that was sent to me to my sources. Here's what came back, multitudes of different law enforcement. I haven't talked to a single person that thinks the kid acted alone. Not

one showed the video. You sent me to several who have the skill and knowledge of long guns and the particulars of this audio, pointing out that and proving that there was at least one additional shooter. Every one of them found the video credible and accurate. I sent the video to Bill Bill, you might recall, as a federal former federal agent, as he watched it twice. He called me back, Bill and I talked. Two things jumped out

immediately. One the height angle of the bullet striking the very top row of the grand stands behind President Trump. Trajectory ballistics physics would not allow a bullet shot from the shooter on that roof to hit that rail at that height unless it was a ricochet. But a ricochet would not have that much force or energy behind it. The narrator of the video specifically mentioned that the round that hit the top of the rail could not be a five to five to six.

It had to be the characteristics of a three toh eight. The THREEH eight is standard issue for most police and federal counter sniper teams. Something to think about. Something else. We both took note of the Secret Service denied a Freedom of Information Act request on the Trump shooting due to a lack of urgency. Bill felt the video was credible enough to pass it on to a

former colleague who was a spotter for a scout sniper team. He watched the video and found it quoting absolutely credible, particularly the detail of the audio signatures of the different shots and the reports, combined with video signatures of the shots and their reports on the narrator's computer screen. The video further solidified what Bill felt concerning a fixer or a second shooter being on site. The former spotter

already thought this before he talked with Bill or saw the video. Feels even stronger now both think it was virtually impossible for this kid to have set this up carried it out acting alone. And then the questions come that video is on the blog page, it will be there would be other videos coming. More analysis You've got to think bigger here when you add everything up. Where

we are right now, there is no explanation being given. I believe we're watching a stalling tactic to cover evidence, to burn the evidence, if you will. Twenty eight minutes after the outum, Big stories in the press box, Money Talking, more still to come. It's the Morning Show with President Scott. All right, we've got got money Talk coming up in just a few minutes. Howard Heisman will be joining us financial stuff as we make our

way through the Tuesday radio program. Tomorrow on the show, a Zeus Rodriguez, former US Border Patrol agent, will join us. Spent two decades on the southern border. We'll talk about some developments there. Also, what a what a Kamala Harris campaign sounds like? You? What might that sound like? I'm kind of reminded of a joke. There's a joke about a pastor that had a member of the church that wasn't a very reputable, good family. In fact, they were kind of a criminal syndicate kind of family.

And one of the one of the brothers, died and the other brother came to the pastor and he said, hey, I know you've got a building Program's just say there'll be a sizeable contribution, just that my brother's funeral refer to my brother as a saint. Pastor kind of thought about it for a second, he said, okay, And so as the funeral arrived coffins in front of everybody, and Pastor says before me, is the deceased one of

the most contemptible human beings God's ever allowed to be created. He was an adulterer, he was a swindler, he was a cheat, he was a rotten father, dishonest businessman. But compared to his brother, he was a saint. That's kind of how I feel about Kamala, in that Joe Biden's terrible Kamala makes Joe Biden look like a genius even in his declined state.

Big stories in the press box. The Trump shooter was not a member of the rifle team and was not bullied, according to the school three key findings. According to Matt Vesp of Town Hall, he listened to all of the nonsense yesterday, said number one, the head of the Secret Service, and testimony before the House Oversight Committee, would not definitively say that the would be assassmin was a lone gunman. She would not disclose how many spent shellcasings were

on the roof. That is hugely important because that leads to the answer of the first question. And lastly, no one's been disciplined for failures on this. And oh, by the way, she's not been there. She has not been to the site, which is boo, mind blowing. I'm going to at some point start writing down I'm certainly not the only one. I'm

going to start writing down the questions that there is no explanation for. Department of Justice is appealing the decision by US District Judge Eileen Cannon to dismiss the case against Donald Trump here in Florida. The Eleventh Circuit will decide whether to accept the appeal the grounds. Remember that Jack Smith was not legally appointed. He had no authority to stand before her and argue the case. Money talk

is now. We've got Howard Heisman standing by and so he will join us next here on the Morning Show with Preston Scott, Communicator of common sense amplified. It's the Morning Show with Preston Scott. Time for a little money talk. We are joined twice a month by investment advisor Howard Heisman. Securities and advisory services offered through NBC Securities Inc. Member Fender and SIPC. NBC Securities Inc. Is a wholly owned subsidiary of RBC Bank USA. The opinions expressed

are not those of NBC Securities Inc. Or iHeartMedia. On appropriate matters, seek professional tax and our legal advice. Do you lay them? Moneys? Howard? How are you today? I am fine, sir. You know we have we have to now look at everything through a new filter. And that filter is is it true? Is it not? Is it actual? Is it not? Artificial Intelligence AI is changing life? How is it doing on the workfront? Is it taking jobs? Well, the short answer is

yes. Over the last seven the last twelve months, the Richmond Federal Reserve Branch that's up there in the DC, Maryland you know, Virginia corridor, that part of the country, they found that thirty seven percent of the companies have used AI to automate tasks previously done by people by their employees. And that actually about fifty four percent they say expect to automate certain jobs in this

coming next twelve months. And that's just mid size and smaller businesses. Preston, if you look at the really large companies, they expected more than seventy five percent of the current jobs they have in place are going to become automated. They're going to be done by the machine learning. You know, I can't help but think that this was going to happen, but it's been accelerated through the pressures on wages and the difficult these of getting people to show up

and do jobs. No doubt that that has played a role. But also, as you said, I think this has probably been building and in the works for a number of years. And the companies that are getting in it in the biggest way, those tech giants, they're putting or have already put, on average between twelve to fourteen billion dollars into building up this space, including the very expense of data centers that are being built. Some of us have been waiting to see this word for a while now, and it's the

word deflation. Yeah, it hasn't been around for a while, has it. No, And the big word has been inflation with the higher cost of living over the last couple of years or so. So Yeah, for the first this past month in June, we actually saw the consumer price index decline by much but one tenth of percent at the start, and that's the first drop in four years. The last month Preston that we actually saw prices fall flation fall was back in May of twenty twenty, when a lot of stuff,

of course was shutting down. So in reaction to that, the data now shows inflation has slowed a bit, still not near the two percent target. The odds now favor a FED rate cut when they meet in September. The probability of that happening is actually over ninety percent this morning. It's interesting because no matter what help may arrive, whenever it arrives, it's going to be too late for some businesses because bankruptcies are in fact up. Yeah,

that's also a fact. Absolutely In the first half of this year, Preston, we've seen three hundred and forty six US companies file for bankruptcy. That's the highest first half total all the way. You got to go back to twenty and ten to see as many bankruptcies. And if you look just at the most recent month, Preston, there were seventy five companies alone just in

the month of June that declared bankruptcy. That's the highest total again since twenty and twenty and most of the companies that are really struggling are in the consumer discretionary sector. Fifty five of those companies are the ones that Bob for bankruptcy. Howard is always challenging times in the consumer and service sectors. Yeah, and interesting informational nuggets here, And thanks as always for the time. We'll talk again next month. I always look forward to preston take care. Thank

you, sir, Howard Eisman with us this morning. Let me point out in twenty ten the highest number of bankruptcies for the first half of a year since twenty ten. Who's in office a Democrat, Barack Obama. When we had the numbers that we had in June, what was going on COVID exactly, just saying forty seven minutes after the hour, fifty two minutes after Oh

my, what a day. Right. I can only tell you this, folks, We're not going to get a break until the election's over, and even then it may take a month, just in time for the end of the year before we can take a breath. Because that's that's the world we now live in. Not the Bee used to put on its website, what a time to be alive? Yeah. Inclosing, and this it's the broadcast area. This story is right in our world. Walton County Sheriff's Office responding

and reminding residents do not approach black bears. There is apparently a black bear that is being described as looking depressed, and it was spotted late last week on the north side of Highway ninety eight near County Road eighty three, Santa Rosa Beach, and people were taking selfies with the bear behind them, and one of the posts with the photos said, clearly the bear is not in

the mood for pictures, showing signs of severe stress. Florida Fish and Wildlife saying they responded the bear had wandered off, but they're begging you because this bear is showing signs of aggression and he's pretty good sized black bear. And while black bears are certainly not grizzlies, brown bears, etc. You don't mess with a bear because they will outrun you, and even black bears will

harm people, though they are more inclined to be herbivoroues. So just saying, if you see us stressed out bear, Okay, it's not me, it's an actual bear. Just leave it be brought to you by bear and no heating an air. It's the morning show one on WFLA our Verse today First John four nineteen did a tidy little devotional on that to start the program. Big stories in the press box talking more about the shooter. Sadly they're using his name. He was not a member of the rifle team. He

was not bullied according to the school. Might have been a little bit of an outsider, but the school saying no, he was well liked by teachers and most of the kids. I mean, it was whatever red flags in the testimony, What little is coming from the head of the Secret Service, Kimberly Cheatle. We played in exchange with US Congresswoman Nancy Mace that was just brilliant. She will not say that it was a loone shooter. She will

not disclose how many showcasings have been found on the roof. There are a lot of questions that are not being answered, and why it's taken ten days, yes to answer anything, and they're still not answering That's a problem. The Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals is deciding whether to accept an appeal of the dismissal of the Trump document case. Judge Eileen Cannon said Jack Smith doesn't have standing. He wasn't properly appointed according to the US Constitution. Eh yeah,

out of that little document, met with Paul Dreason of Sea Fact. Talked about a Supreme Court case that's coming in June that needs to be on your radar. Is it too much to ask the US Olympians actually like and love the country they're representing? And a Florida man arrested for threatening Trump and Vance in the wake of the assassination attempt. Probably not a good look back tomorrow. Have an awesome day, all right,
