I love you all, Love you, I love you all. Welcome to the Morning Show with Presden Scott Thursday on the radio program, July the eleventh. It was one week ago today that I was sleeping. It was fourth of July. We weren't working. It was lovely anyway, welcome friends. It's show fifty one to ninety three of this radio program. And so we welcome you ruminators, men, women, males and females, boys and girls,
ladies and gentlemen. We thank you very much for joining us as always today, as as is always the case on Thursday Busy Show, we got Steve Stewart joining us in the second hour. Doctor Dave will help us feel a little bit better, naturally, I want to underscore that. Naturally. See in those segments, it's about drilling down to the cause of why you're feeling crappy, not putting a band aid on it. See a lot of and and honest good doctors will admit this that a lot of medicine today is
all about giving you a pill and masking the problem. And when we spend time with doctor Hearts, it's about drilling down. And so today, in fact, today on the program, and pull this up here for a second. Today we're going to cover three important things you can do to live healthier and longer. Oh yeah, we got a road trip idea. We're going to take your calls in the third hour. Who's it going to be? Who's it going to be? Who will the Democrats nominate? Who will when
the smoke clears? Is Joe going to be on the ticket? Or is Kamala or do you think somebody else who's going to be at the top of the ticket. I want to hear from you, and yes, Democrats, I would love to. I know you're out there. I know it. I know it because even though you disagree with me, you like me. I know that. So anyway I mentioned at the start of the show, I love you because I have to. You know. Our verse today comes from First Corinthians thirteen, verse four. It says love is patient, love
is kind, Love does not envy or boast. It is not arrogant. It's just part of the description that covers love. I have described to people what Proverbs says, for example, about friendship. A true friend. If you read all of Proverbs and what it says about friendship, a true friend is willing to lose the friendship to be a friend, A true friend speaks truth to you, says, come on, you can do better, challenges you make better choices, encourages you. I've always used this description, and
I will be honest with you. My understanding of love changed when I became a parent. It just does. Any parent understands this statement. I do not always like my children, but I always love my children, and I think that's what's important for us as we think about love and loving your neighbor and loving your enemies. I don't have to like everybody, and I don't
have to like everybody's choices, but God commands me to love people. And so love isn't just this warm, squishy kind of feeling and oh everything's okay, Because as a parent you learn that sometimes love means saying no, that's not right. Love means saying no, you can't do that. Why because you can't. You don't have to go into a big definition or description on
why you're the parent. No, you love your child. You sometimes have to take positions that aren't necessarily warm and friendly, and so our verse today underscores the importance of love. I don't like Joe Biden, but I'm commanded by scripture to love him and love him enough to pray for him. There are a lot of people I don't like because of the things that they do. A lot of people sometimes that's me. Sometimes I'm like, yeah, I don't do very good. There, don't lose sight. Love is patient,
Love is kind. Love does not envy or boast, and it is not arrogant. Eleven minutes past the hour Peek inside the American Patriots Almanac is next Beck. He's always been a white guy, Glenn. We got it licensed to talk at nine to noon on a WFLA. Then this music just say, get yourself some Raisin Brand. I don't know why. I just have Raisin Brand in my head when I hear this music. You know, the sun shining with the eyes and the smile and then the two scoops of
raisins on the box. I just see Raisin Brand every time I hear this music. July eleventh, Inside the American Patriots Almanac, seventeen sixty seven. John Quincy Adams, sixth US President born in Braintree, Massachusetts. I have been to the home where he was, in fact delivered where he was home where he called home. John Adams where he and Abigail retired. Peacefield is one of the best stops to make if you're ever in the Boston area,
make the drive. Peacefield is part of the National Park Service. And and on occasion they open the library up, the Adams Library, which is attached to the home. It is incredible what's inside there, the history, the books that were gifts and that were used by the family. It's incredible. It's sorry. And then in eighteen oh four, on July eleventh, the most famous duel in American history and the fatal shooting of one of the nation's
founding fathers. The duel between Vice President Aaron Burr and former Treasury Secretary Alexander Hamilton, happened on this day, eight in eighteen oh four. Can you imagine we lived at it? There was there's a I mean, obviously they're in our history. There are there are things that we're not so proud of. And that's why pulling down monuments to Confederate generals and so forth is just stupid, because we honor all kinds of things in this country that not all
of us agree with. But they mark history. They mark a time period. Dad, who is that that was a general? Of the Confederate Army. What was that about? And so the lesson begins. But we remove those, and so we rob subsequent generations of learning from our past. Could you imagine if Congress today settled things the old fashioned way? Can you imagine? Yeah? I mean they walking stick boom, popping them on the head. Sir, what was that? Look? Why sir, you insult me
with your disdain. You're channeling your inner foghorn. Leghorn? Oh absolutely, that's like a South Carolina representative or senator. Why sir? Eh it? And then you'd have a few loyalists still around. I say, good fellow, did you mean to bring scorn upon your family? What? Yes, I said scorn? You think me daft? Meet me at dawn in the hill. If someone shoots somebody come. But look at it this way. Had it not happened, we would have been robbed of the musical Hamilton.
This is true. Did you ever see that? Did you ever see Hamilton? I? Yeah, I saw the version they did on Disney So Broadway, But yeah, yeah, yeah, it's I think it's spectacular. I mean, yeah, there are a couple of spots that are a little rough language wise, but I think I think the music is spectacular, the skills, the I mean, I loved it. I know they took a little license, but that'sn't everybody when when it comes to performance and Broadway and movies
and so forth. So I'm okay with that. But had they not had that duel, Disney would have been robbed of the only thing that was worthwhile on Disney in the last ten years. I mean, at the very least seventeen minutes past the hour come back with an auction site. You won't believe. I am so geeked to talk about this. When we made our trip
to Boston, we did it's we did. We did a US History tour with some of our kids along the East Coast, and in the second history trip, we did the Boston John Adams, the Freedom Trail, the USS Constitution, I mean, all of the places, all of them. It was spectacular. It really was okay. And we caught a game at Fenway. The Twins were in town and so I had to watch Minnesota play Boston and we sat right next to the Green Monster, and that was pretty cool.
They had a they have a family section at Fenway Park, which was awesome. No profanity, it was just terrific. Anyway, we also went to and you hear me reference this a lot. The music of the American Revolution in philadelphia's literally walking distance right down the street from Independence Hall. You just walk down and you're walking through the history of this country as you do
it. And the museum is there, and one of the exhibits that's there is Washington's battlefield tent, and the way that they present it is literally tear inducing. It's just it's so remarkable. They talk about the history and this Washington insisted on being on the battlefield with his men. He would not go elsewhere. He was going to be with them. And so he had two
tents, the tent that he slept in and his office was in. And that tent was preserved and saved by during the Civil War by his daughter, granddaughter granddaughter anyway, because his wife's daughter ended up marrying Roberty Lee and was the wife of either daughter or granddaughter was married to Roberty Lee. I mean, it's a remarkable tangling of the story and how she ends up saving some artifacts during the Civil War, and other artifacts were saved at different points in
time. Well, a guy's a collector, he usually collects civil war stuff. I didn't know, but Goodwill has an online auction site. I had no idea. And so this collector is looking at this item up forbid, and it's a piece of fabric and the note says a piece of George Washington's tent from the History Building at Jamestown Exposition nineteen oh seven, property of John Burn's December twenty third, nineteen oh seven. And he looked at it, and this is a collector and he's like, really, and then he kind
of zoomed in on it. He said, yeah, that looks kind of old. So he took a shot. He bought the thing and spent like thirteen hundred dollars on it. Couldn't tell His wife eventually told her and she's like, there is no way. He sent it off to the museum to have it verified, and the curator said, that's a piece of his dining tent. There are nine known pieces of it, and the museum now has three plus this one on display. And so he had a dining tent,
and then he had a separate tent. The separate tent, the one he lived in literally while he was on the battlefield, is all display and it's a presentation that I think is just one of the most moving things in the world because you literally see the curtain come up and behind the scrim is the actual tent displayed on a replica battlefield, if you will, of our founding president and it's his he was in that that's where he lived during the Revolutionary
War, and to see it, it's just staggering. Well, this to me is just I mean, this is goosebump inducing at Goodwill. At Goodwill, and we talk about that from time to time, how these things just pop up and people go into Goodwill stores or they go into a flea market and they buy this stuff. It's like stuff just comes out in the strangest ways in places. And so yeah, it's now on display at that same
museum. I'm just telling you, if you ever go to Philadelphia, if you're ever in the area, you've got to go in that stretch by Independence Hall down to the Museum of the American Revolution. It is just spectacular. So anyway, yeah, I'd probably wait a while if I spent thirteen hundred bucks on a maybe ever bought anything on auction eBay, but like it was, you know, something for the kiddo's okay. You know one of those
bicycle seats when they're little and you put it on the back. I actually have two documents that I have purchased at auction that were looked at by the experts at the American the Museum of the American Revolution. Really cool stories twenty eight after the hour, come back, Big Stories in the press box. Next it's the Morning Show with Preston Scott, violating all rules of professionalism.
I'm still eating my oatmeal. Sorry, real sticky anyway. Yeah, you know, you're not supposed to do stuff like that, but I don't. I tell everybody I'm not good at what I do. I'm just not. But I'm okay with that. I've accepted that about myself. I don't know why John does. But you know, as as the grand oompov of things that go out over the radio waves in Tallahassee, you have my permission to eat breakfast on the radio, especially if it's crunchy, because we're in an
oral media. And what's so fun about that is my wife would love that, because my wife actually chooses crunchy foods for the texture and the sound. She'll take a potato chip, open her mouth up wide, and just go crunch and it just makes her laugh. It just makes her happy. So yeah, that kind of fits. I suppose big stories in the press box this morning, not going deep, been much, but we're just going to kind of put these out there. The Arizona rancher George Allen Kelly. Now
we'll talk about this later this month. We've got Heesus Rodriguez coming back on the program. Jesus is a retired member of the United States Border Patrol. He's a retired agent, was serving our country for better than two decades. And how did we find him. He's a listener of this show and he used to call in during What's the Beef. He lives in Casa Grande, Arizona, which happens to be a place where I played a lot of high
school golf events, but I digress. Jose called into the program and at some point he talked about what he did professionally, and I was like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. You need to send me an email, sir, And so he did. And he's been a guest expert because he still does contracting work and he knows all those people still serving at the border, and so he gives us an unvarnished view of what's going on from the agent's perspective, and we've learned things that we never would have
known about the southern border. I mean, they put the wall up, they put ramps up and try to get cars going over at the wall. I mean, it's crazy stuff that they do to get their people into the country, for the cartels to smuggle and all that. Anyway, the Arizona rancher that shot and killed a someone on his property that turned out to be an illegal immigrant, a jury voted to acquit him. They thought about filing charges again, they have dismissed the charges. A judge threw the charges out.
It's over. That man can go back to living his life. Good for him, it's defending his property. Come on, now, this is ironic. Supreme Court Justice Sonya Sodemayer, who co sign an opinion claiming the Second Amendment does not protect the private right of armed self defense, was in fact protected by her armed guards who shot a would be carjacker. Us Marshall's protecting a Supreme Court justice who doesn't believe in the Second Amendment right to self
defense is protected by the Second Amendment right of self defense. It's in our local news. Don't know if you heard about it. A woman arrested for making death threats against Florida Governor Rohan DeSantis. Don't know the nature of the threats, just that she has been arrested. And check out her face. I'm showing it to the guys. She's proud, or she's certified. She's certifiably nuts. She's a Riverview woman, twenty years of age. Danielle Callaway,
enjoy your time in prison. Danielle and Boeing. Boeing agrees to plead guilty to a felony in a deal with the Justice Department. Families of the some of the three hundred and forty six people that died in two plane crashes of their Boeing seven thirty seven Max in twenty eighteen and twenty nineteen are are asking the judge to throw out the agreement. Said, no way, this
should not be allowed. They're paying the federal government four hundred and eighty seven million dollars in a fine and investing four hundred and fifty five million in safety and compliance programs. Really, so part of the deal is to do your job, to apply safety programs to your airliners. What a novel plea agreement. Needless to say, this is a sweetheart deal, and the families that are involved are saying no, no, no, no no no, no, no, no no, we are not allowing our loved ones to be
footnotes in this plea deal. So we'll see where that all leads. Forty one minutes past the hour. More proof it's the Morning Show with Preston Scott more proof that we were talking yesterday about the snowflake problem we have. I was sharing some intel late in yesterday's program, and if you missed it, just subscribe to the b Line blog bline blogger dot blogspot dot com. Scott Beacon and he wrote a piece documenting data about how fragile the gen z you
know, snowflakes are, and not all of them. Look, we paint with a broad paintbrush around here. Okay, there are always exceptions, and I'm quite certain your little precious one is the exception of the rule in all the snowflakes that yours is not as fragile as the rest that you raise yours to be hearty and have a stout constitution that said, the bulk of gen zers are softies. They're sissies. They can't handle rejection, they can't handle
the word no. They're crappy workers. They get their nose out of joint over nothing. And that's just a reality. That's not opinion, that's fact. That's what we're dealing with right now. Ask any employer about working with young people today. It is a universal problem. Enter Violet Affleck. Violet is the daughter eighteen of Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck, and so she appeared to the Los Angeles City Commission. I suppose public comment section the County Board
of Commissioners of Supervisors. I contracted a post viral condition in twenty nineteen. I'm okay now, but I saw firsthand that medicine does not always have answers to the consequences of even minor viruses. The COVID nineteen pandemic has thrown that into sharper relief. One in ten infections leads to long COVID, which is devastating neurological and cardiovascular illness that can take away people's ability to work, move,
see, and even think. To confront the long COVID crisis, I demand mass availability, air filtration and far UVC light and government facilities including jails and detention centers and mask mandates in county medical facilities. Blah blah, blah blah blah, once again proving the observation Scott's making based on data from the Federal Reserve in Philadelphia, ironically, and their life survey that showed that we got a bunch of young people that are scared to be in the workforce because
of illness. Don't tell me that COVID did not do psychological damage to that generation, because it darnwell did. Now, you and I see it all the time. I make the comment repeatedly. I know I offend some of you. I'm okay with that. I've learned to live with the fact that I do that. It's not my desire to do that, but I speak truth. Going back to the start of the show, as someone who loves you and willing to lose the friendship to be a friend, I'm willing to
speak the truth. If you weren't wearing a mask before COVID and you're wearing one now, you have been psychologically damaged by the pandemic. You have been damaged by the false notion, and it's false. There is not any science supporting that masks keep you healthy. In fact, the science indicates they they harm you. Well, then why is surgeons wear it? Because surgeons are opening up your body and they don't want to sneeze and cough into your open wound. Okay, come on, get a grip. I want to come
on people. But this just this supports It's just it's incredible. We talked yesterday about the data inside this somewhat benign survey by the Federal Reserve that points out that young people don't want to be in the workforce, don't want to apply for jobs in large part. The largest reason why fear of illness in the workplace. What and now we have a story of a privileged young lady. And look, I have pretty high regard for Jennifer Garner. I think
she's pretty sharp cookie. And I'm not talking about her she's a very pretty young lady. I'm talking about she's just handled herself professionally really well, and I admire her, and she seems like a wonderful parent. But you've got a privileged little girl that's walking around demanding mask mandates, and she just needs to be quiet because she doesn't know, and you need to get her help
because she's been scarred by something called the pandemic. All right, this is just a wonderful illustration that that little survey, as sterile as it seems, as you know, they're numbers, they're just numbers. Well, now we put a face to it, and here's a person coming out and talking. That's just eliminating all doubt, at least in her life, that this general has been psychologically damaged. But they're not alone. Go to the grocery store,
go to Walmart. Just look around at the people wearing masks, omg and for what for what? Why? You're hurting your own immune system. That's how your immune system works. You breathe stuff in and some of it say, and your immune system goes, I'm gonna take care of that for you. Don't you worry about it. Pal, I got it. And if you didn't know that, that's what your immune system sounded like. That's what it sounds like. Hey, don't worry about this friend. I got
this disease, eh, and they kills it. That's how your immune system works. I'm way late, forty nine minutes after the hour, but I feel better. See the Morning Show with Preston Scott on News Radio one hundred point seven w FLA. All right, gotta be quick about this, Jake Tapper, reacting to the meltdown by Democrats and others in the media to Joe Biden's performance at the debate and his mental acumen in general. Check this out.
In reality, seventy of voters say that they believe President Biden is too old. That's according to CNN's most recent pulling. Voters have been saying this for quite a long time. The reality is that the Democratic elites are mostly late to acknowledge these age and ability issues compared to the rest of the public. The elites have been forced to reckon with it after the debate just eleven days ago. Book of my career have not had many of those nights.
It was a terrible night, and I really regret it happened. But the fact of the matter is, how can you assure your going to be on you know, faith can interviewing on your way to go to you know work tomorrow? Age age? Wasn't you know the idea I'm too old? The fact of the matter is, how can you assure you're going to be out on you know, on your way to go you know work tomorrow? Age
age. Wasn't you know the idea that I'm too old? Keep in mind that sounds like it's supposed to be reassuring to those Democratic supporters who have gone wildly. Many Democratic officials with whom I've spoken are worried. The President of Biden and his family and his inner circle appear to be in complete denial, not just about whatever might be wrong with him, but the state of his candidacy right now. Wow, that was him on with Mika and Joe on Morning Joe on MSNBC. Ah ah, well, ah, oh my gosh,
what an epic disaster. All right, we're coming to the second hour of the Morning Show. Steve Stewart is on deck with Tallhasi Reports. We'll try to help you feel a little better next hour as well, and and more. We've got more sound to come here this morning here on the Morning Show with Preston Scott. If I passed the hour Morning Show with Preston Scott, our number two of the radio program Good to Have You with Us Show
fifty one ninety three. Thursday is a busy day around here, and it means it's time to talk to Steve Stewart, Executive editor of our only source for really new, really well reported news researched and that is Tallastreports dot com. How I'm good. I'm buckled in the seats so I don't come out of it. Yeah, but you know what, at this point, we're kind of watching a demolition derby and all the people in the contest are in the same family. Yeah, if you start, that's a good way of
putting it. They're trying there's a demolition derby going on, and they're trying to take control of the city commission while they fight with each other. Yeah, and so we you know, we the front page of the Tallesse Reports prenedition, and we've written about this is the fracture in the the local executive or the local Leon County Democrat Executive Committe, which is led by a chair, Ryan Raye, who was elected in twenty twenty two and has been the
aid to Jeremy Mattlow. That seems really weird. You've got a non partisan allegedly and we know that they're not but nonpartisan, but yet your aid runs the local party. Look, this has been an issue since it happened. But what's happened is the Democrats are in charge now here locally, there's no
there's no boogeyman Republican trying to take over with city commissions. Yeah, so now they've had to focus on themselves, and the progressive wing has really caused moderate and liberal Democrats to sort of get on their heels, like, well, how do I respond to this? Am I going to attack another Democrat? Well? The problem is is that most of the moderate liberal Democrats don't want to attack other Democrats, but the progressives they don't care. No,
they don't, they don't and what they're doing. We're starting to see this fracture, which has been reported in other news outlets, We're starting to see it now rights to the top. And if you look at the quotes that we have from four to five Democrats in the in our article, Rudy ferguson his father complaint against who is running against Jack Porter father complaint with the Florida Democratic Party because of bias showed by Ryan Ray, who has both a political,
personal and professional relationship with Jack Porter. If you go look through his Twitter feed, he has been supporting the re election of Commissioner Porter, despite the fact there are two other Democrats in the race and the by laws of the Democratic parties say, look, you're supposed to remain neutral, but even the Democratic Twitter feed supports Porter well and Steve your article points out that it's not just Rudy Ferguson, it's sitting commissioners as well as other candidates that are
pointing out the bias. Lewis Diilbert, who's running against Porter, also said, look, I went and talked to the to Ryan Ray when I got into the race as a proud Democrat, thinking that they would I'd be welcome with open arms, and it's like he said, he felt the bias right away. You look at Bob Lotaine, who has funded Jeremy Mattlow's progressive causes, it's basically turned on him and said, look, you guys are fighting a much among each other. You've been in power, you've been elected for
six years. You said you were going to get things done, and you've done nothing to bridge this three to two gap among Democrats. They can't even work with Democrats. And so if you start to look at what's going on with the dec the local Democratic Exis Committee, you've got to ask yourself. If they get controlled, the progressives get control of the City Commission, is that how they're going to operate. They don't want to work with anybody.
Well, it's they've they've destroyed the mirage of the big tent because the Democrat Party has always been Steve the big Tent Party. It's now if you don't agree with this particular wing of it, you're out. Yes, and there's no debate. There's no again, there's no bridge like trying to figure out how do we move the community forward. It's they just want power. And if you look at some of these forums, and we'll talk more about this
in the next segment, but it's clear what they want to do. They want to fire people, they want to fire Eastcode, they want a fire chief rival and to do that they've got to have control the City Commission. They have to have three votes. And that's what this election is all about. Sure. And so when you start seeing this, this fracture within the Democratic Executive Committee, you start asking yourself, wait a minute, they're all
Democrats. Why can't they get together and move the community forward. And it's it's a reflection of what kind of leadership you could get if you're not careful. It's really nuanced in certain ways, and we use that word a lot, but it just happens to be the case, and voters better figure that out quick exactly. Steve Stewart with us, we have much to talk about. Stick around ten past the hour in the Morning Show with Preston Scott.
Back here on the Morning Show with Preston Scott twenty one past the Hour. Steve Stewart, Executive Editor. Subscribe, get the paper, Tellassi reports dot com. It's fact based, it's data driven, and actual reporting being done that it's just not being done elsewhere. Steve, One of the stories you have been following for a good bit of time is the travel of sitting commissioners.
Well, you know, we all know that these these elective ficiers like to do travel League of Cities. Remember when Mayor John Marx was traveling all the time for you know, I guess was it the Association Mayor's National Association Mayors and stuff these But what we found out when we started looking at travel was we see that. But we're starting to see the progressive wing of Leon County sort of it's what we thought they were doing. They want to take
this national narrative and they want to slam it down into Tallahassee. Even though we don't really want it, and we've argued that they're doing that, and this is how they're doing it. You know, we talked about Commission Jack Porter traveling to this group local progress three or four conferences that they paid for and she's going to get ideas of progressive policies. Okay, and we've talked
about that. But David O'Keefe with Leon County Commission spent his own money to go to Atlanta for a left wing basically campaign training for progressives, defund the police people were in charge of it. I spent his own money, went up there. Commission Mattlow, we found out recently, spent the city's dollars to go down to Miami for a climate change conference. Okay, didn't talk
too much about it, but it is there. I think it looks like he traveled with someone else, which I'll assume was his aide, Ryan Ray. So you've got these three progressives that are really not going They're going to conferences that are more driven, not the nuts and bolts lega cities. Some are paid for it by themselves, some are being paid for by tax project
right because they want to get this progressive training. And what I find interesting about this is that given that Miami, Atlanta, Washington, d C. Saint Louis, all three of them, they won't travel to Amelia Island for the Tallahassee Chamber Community Conference to hear from business owners, local business owners, small business owners the concerns that they have because they have branded the Chamber as
corrupt developers. And look, I'll be the first to say that I don't think that there's been that the Chambers allow themselves to get branded in this era. They've been bullied, they've been bullied, and I understand it's a difficult situation, but the Chamber does not. It has over fifteen hundred members. And we're talking about T shirt companies, pest control, we're talking about you know, local alarm companies, we're talking to earth and employers of all a
lot of people listening to this show. But what's happened is Commissioner Matlow has taken it and tried to brand the Chamber as corrupt developers, which he's done a very good job because of he's got up, he's got a bully pulpit, and there hasn't been a very good response. But what you look at when you see this, when you do this chamber conference thing and you say, yeah, people roll their eyes. Oh, the chamber conferences a bunch
of you know, developers and city commissioners. It's really not. It's non I've been there. It's nonprofits. It's small businesses trying to conduct business, trying to develop relationship network and it's a it's a it's a place where commissioners get out elected officials, Okay, go and they can hear from that type of constituency and listen. You think it's just developers and you know high rollers that attend, it's not. And it's also not just I mean, look
the school board. You've got Roseanne Wood, who's no pro business conservative. Remember she she goes to the conference. Darryl Jones goes to the conference. And so my point in saying this is this is very indicative of where we're headed as a community. Behind the leadership of these progressives. They don't really and they really don't like Tylasie. They want it to be something different.
And all you gotta do don't listen to what they say. Look at what they do, look at how they vote, and look at where they're traveling. They're not going to hear from the small business owner, and that to me is alarming that they will take the time and sometimes their own money to go get trained from these progressive left wing groups, but they won't go to a community conference where you have a range of different people who are interested in
this community. Clarify for our listeners the backstory with Commissioner Porter and her request from the city Attorney Cassandra Jackson to get some guidance and she didn't follow it. Yeah, there's a been an ethics complain filed, but the local media has just dropped this and buried it. They've buried it. She's violated ethics rules. In my opinion, an easy read. This she sought. She sought an opinion from the city attorney in twenty twenty one and got it.
She got it, and it said listen, it's a gift, okay, unless you have the city pay for it and then get reimbursed. Well, the problem with her having the city pay for it and getting reimbursed is it creates a paper trail, okay. And if you report it as a gift, it creates a paper trail, and you know what your official, your local official is doing. It's called transparency. She got that it, ignored
it. She went on three trips, didn't have the city pay for the hotels and the planes to some of these trips, and she didn't declare it as a gift. She's violated ethics rules and they have just looked the other way. They've never asked questions about it. And it's again, it's a sad state of what we are in terms of following up on these things. Well, the Florida Commission on Ethics now has it and they'll do a thorough
investigation. We hope, no, they will. And I think that if you look at this, I've seen these things, this is an ethics violation. It won't come out till after the election, and you know, but the point being, it's not only a reflection of again what they're doing hiding things. Okay, they don't want you to know. They don't want you to know that they're taking this nation. They want this national progressive narrative here in Tyle hasseid. Sure, and it's unfortunate, but we'll continue to report
on it. Thanks for the time, Thank you, President Steve Stewart, Tallahassee reports, My guest, Remember subscribe tealhassireports dot com twenty eight past the Hour, Welcome to the Morning Show with Preston Scott. Can you believe the drama around the Democrat Party and Joe Biden? And oh my goodness. One thing I've noticed is the the Hens on the View have had very little to say lately about eleven days now, funny how that's worked out. They've not
had a whole lot of comments out there. It's just kind of been. It's just an interesting time period where we find ourselves in. It's really surreal. We've got next hour a phone segment, and we're going to effort to get you to weigh in on who you think the top of the ticket's going to be for the Democrat Party, and I would love to hear from Democrats. Look, I don't I don't pick fights with people on this show. It's just it's boring. It just is. I don't yell and scream at
people. I certainly have disagreements on opinions with folks. I do interviews all the time with people that I don't agree with, and it's fine, you talk, It's okay, it's not you know, over time, they'll realize they're wrong and they'll come around, you know, Dad always said it takes two horses to make a race, and so but one horse will win and telling you know what I just saying. But next hour, I would love to hear from Democrats, Republicans, independents. Who do you think is going
to be on the top of the Democrat ticket. Robert F. Kennedy cannot win, he will not win. He's not going to win. Okay, it's just these are realities. So we'll get to that in just a little bit. Talk more about it. Big stories in the press box. George Allen Kelly's the rancher at Arizona shot an illegal that was on his property, broke into the country, was on his property, he did not heed the warnings and he ended up dead and Jerry acquitted him. And now the charges
have been dismissed and that is a very good development. Florida woman arrested for making death threats against Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. Hillsborough County Sheriff's office made the arrest of a twenty year old woman. We will not name her, need to name her on the show. She's in the news. That's enough. Boeing agrees to a plea deal with the Justice Department felony charge of conspiracy to
defraud the federal government over two fatal crashes. Really yeah, Apparently the Department of Justice found that Boeing violated a twenty twenty one settlement related to the two crashes. So Boeing agrees to a settlement and then violates the conditions of the settlement, and they're getting us a financial slap on the wrist for Boeing. They're going to pay half a billion dollar fine, which quite candidly is a slap on the wrist for Boeing. And then they've got to invest four hundred
and fifty five million dollars in safety and compliance. I just laugh at that. Isn't that kind of what you're supposed to be doing if you're a company that makes it rides. And then, irony of ironies, the US Marshals that are assigned to guard Supreme Court justices had to shoot a would be carjacker of Supreme Court Justice Sonya Sota Meyer, the same Sonya Soda Meyer that claim
the Second Amendment does not protect the private right of armed self defense. So it's only okay if you have paid guards to have self defense, not average people. Forty minutes past the hour, Doctor David Hart standing by next to the Morning show with Preston Scott Boy. That escalated quickly. I mean that really got out of hand fast. On WFLA, Let's get you feeling better.
That's the idea optimal health, naturally talk about a perfect double entendre, naturally and naturally joining us, Doctor David Hartzello, sir, good morning, press them three things. I tipped this earlier in the program. I primed the pump. Three things to help us live healthier, air go longer. Yeah, you know, life expects expectancy in America actually is decreasing. Yeah, crazy to believe it in recent years. And medicine, you know,
is focused on crisis medicine and manifestation of disease treatment. And we need to take care of ourselves. We've got to take some action on this stuff, which is kind of what this segment's all about. And someone asked me today, so if I had to do three things, you know, to kind of go at this thing, what would what would I do? You know, at least to make some move in the right direction that would change something.
And so let me go with three things really quick. Obviously we talked about this a lot, but diet is just you can't get around it. Unfortunately, they're trying to kill us out there, you know, with what's going on in the food and so wave control keeping our weight down, there's just no doubt about it. It's there's so much research shows that that affects a longevity and our overall health. And the ways to do it is first, just go after the carbs, you know, decrease them as much as
possible. And one of the easiest way to do the way control is just portion and control. Just cut down in half what you're eating and stop eating when you get satiated, when you're when you're not hungry anymore. Met many of us just eat because it's on the plate. Just don't put so much on there. It's so simple, but it does work. It really really does. Also changing and going after the oils, try to stay away from
seed oils. This there's so much research on this. It sounds like something simple, but it's causing to to miss my inflammation and stay away from grains. And now I might even do a whole segment just on grains because it's really really important what we're doing to our grains. We're changing them and they're causing problems in our body. And then the second one is just to avoid toxicity. And everywhere around you just creams and anything we put in our environment,
air fresheners, we breathe all the time. Just be aware of what chemicals are going into your body, and we're putting them in all the time, especially in our foods. And when we look at labels and you can't understand the name of what you're reading because it's all chemicals, then you need to move away from that. It's just simple, but it's very very important. And try to eat organic whenever possible. And filter your water. Get a water filter, get a zero water filter or something like that, and
filter your water the water that we drink out of the tap. Even in tallahassee Floridas, they're taking out very minimal amounts of stuff. And then the last thing is exercise. There is no way around it. I mean, I even have to force myself to do this because it's just so hard to do. But even fifteen minutes a day, twenty minutes a day of walking, and the research is so strong on this that it decreases the chances of illness and longevity. If you can do it one hundred and fifty minutes a
week, that's even better. The more you do it, even more you stress your heart and get yourself into a little bit of a you know, aerobic type of environment, the better you are. But of course you don't want to start doing something really strenuous about having, you know, be checked out by your doctor and be sure you're cleared for that. But just anything
is so extremely important. So really the three things would the diet, changing what we eat and make some delicate action on that, avoiding toxicity in our environment, and then doing some exercise that increases our heart rate and get moving. Those are good. Those are like your building blocks right there. They are, and they're basics. But there's a lot of things we can go and get into them much more specific. But you cover those alone and you
will definitely live longer and be healthier. Doctor Hearts, thank you very much. I appreciate the time, and we'll catch up again in a couple of weeks. Okay, press, have great day, Thank you, sir. Doctor David Hart's with us this morning, and I want to tag onto the exercise thing a little bit for those of you that are getting a little bit older. The one thing that I know is flexibility along with elevating your heart rate a little bit. And again, as he said, see your doctor
if you're a little concerned about it. But flexibility as you get older. It's like I noticed when I was, for example, just cleaning out the skimmer basket on my pool. It's like, you know, getting up and down to get down on my knees and then to get up. I don't like this, And it was like there was my cue, Okay, start pushing the flexibility of my hips, my flexers and my knees and all of
that. And so'm I work really hard on that. And I also work hard on balance, doing some sort of one like like store balance things. And as you grow older, balance is huge. Balance is huge. So do things now in preparation for those years on the other side of the hill. All right, forty seven past the hour, summertime. If you're a parent, you got youngins at home, you're desperate, What am I going to do with my children? Well, I've told you I would help.
And so here we are on the road again. Another road trip suggestion, this one about a two to two and a half hour drive away from the capital city of Tallahassee a little farther if you're in Panama City. Centrally located in Florida and definitely not one of the typical tourist spots. The Santa Fe College Teaching Zoo Santa Fe College is kind of the Hasse State College equivalent. It is part of kind of it's the feeder into the University of Florida.
It's a little north of the Gainesville campus, but it is in Gainesville and Santa Fe College. The Teaching Zoo is awesome fun, it really is. It's a simple drive. It's not very expensive. Ten bucks for adults, six bucks for children, and it's a lot of fun. It's open from nine to three and it's a simple drive. So there's your suggestion, all right for a road trip. Idea is to pack up the kiddos and take
them to the Gainesville area and the Santa Fe College Teaching Zoo. My wife and I had a great time visiting there back a few years ago, and we'll go back again sometime soon, I'm sure. But there you go, and next week I'll throw you another bone in the same area that you can double up. But that's next week, all right. Here's what we've got coming up. I've cleared the deck. I said to Joe Biden and Donald Trump. No, no, no, no, Thursday, I'm taking calls.
Fellas, we can talk another time. Thursday. I'm taking calls in the third hour. I stiff armed him both. Maybe maybe maybe not, Maybe maybe I'm just dreaming. I have had presidential candidates on this program over the years, but I had Donald Trump Junior on the show. No no surrogates. I generally avoid surrogates, the President's son. I made an exception for him, but I generally I don't want surrogates. I want I want the people. I want the candidates. I don't want someone talking on behalf
of the candidates. So I'm a little picky on that. But I do want to hear from you. We're opening up the phone lines, and so if you want to be one of the first to hear the voice of the producer to be named later, if for no other reason, that you could call in right now. But we're taking calls on one topic. I want to hear from Democrats, Republicans, independents, and and you can share what you are. You don't have to, I don't care, you know.
I want to know who's going to be on the top of the Democrat ticket in your opinion, Who's it gonna be. Is it gonna be Joe? Is he gonna hold out? Joe? Yeah? I'm the I'm the president. It is? Yeah? Can I have some ice cream? Did I say that right? I mean you can say Joe, you can say Kamala that they're gonna they're gonna find the lever to get Joe to step down? Or is it somebody else? Do you think something crazy is gonna happen? I mean, like crazy crazy? I don't know. We're gonna take calls
though. Eight five zero two zero five WFLA eight five zero two zero five ninety three fifty two. That's the phone number. I want to know what you think is gonna happen, because honestly, all my predictions that I didn't think Joe was going to be the person, they're now all coming into focus. Now it's not just some crazy talk Jo, is it. Huh? You all thought I was crazy for a while. Some of you didn't, because some of you wrote me and said, now I agree with you,
this is what's going to happen. But now we're seeing it all unfold. So you can call. I want to hear from you. And here's what I want to know. Who's going to be on the top of the top of the ticket? And why? Why will they be the person? I'm not interested in the why not. I'm interested in the why Why will the person you think be the Democrat? You're at nominee for President of the United
States? When all the smoke clears and it's all said and done. Eight five zero two zero five WFLA, five past the hour, eight in the Eastern time zone, seven in the Central. Good morning, friends, Welcome to the third and final hour of The Morning Show with Preston Scott, at least for today. It is Thursday, July the eleventh show, fifty one to ninety three. We're asking a question eight five zero two zero five WFLA. We have two lines open at eight five zero two zero five ninety three
fifty two. Who's going to be on the top of the Democrat ticket? What are your thoughts? The election is coming closer and closer by the day. Joe Biden holding his first solo press conference of the year today. I'm rather shocked by that, but I'm curious is it gonna be Joe is it gonna be Kamala? Is it going to be something else? Your thoughts? Whether you're a Democrat, Republican, independent, undecided, decided what? It really doesn't matter who you're going to vote for. What do you think is
gonna happen? Eight five zero two zero five to b FLA. John is wandering somewhere between Florida and Georgia. Hello, sir, how are you? I'm good, sir. How are you doing? I'm terrific? So what do you think about all of this? Who's going to be on top of the ticket when the smoke clears? Only person they can really put in place has got to be Kamala. And that's because if they don't do that, they will lose the black vote. And she's the only one that has access
to the war chest the money. Yeah, that's true. That's true. Now tell me. All of the polling indicates that Donald Trump is gaining huge numbers with minority voters. Do you really think Kamala can turn that around? I don't think she can turn it around, but I think that they will. It'll be a landslide if they put If they don't put her in place, So do you I mean it would catapult it. Do you think though, that she will in fact be the nominee. No, I think Joe
Biden sticks it out. Okay, fair enough, He's gonna dig his feed in and and if it's just going to cause more turmoil if he decides to when, I think actually his life is pulled in the strings. So I think she's more power hungry than any of them, and if they put force him out, it's going to cause so much turmoil in the Democratic Party they would not be electable. Thank you, John, I appreciate you sharing your thoughts this morning. Eight five zero two. Zerified to be a f l
A. Let's go to Ray. Who's standing by Ray? You've identified yourself as a Democrat, So what do you think is going to happen? A misidentification? Okay, you're not a Democrat, no, sir, Okay, sorry, you were, you were, you were miss you were misunder understood. So go ahead tell me what you think is going to happen. I'm going to go out on a limb here, but I think to combat the
Kamala Harris thing. First off, top of the ticket, they'll either get Newsome or they will woo back Kennedy and I think to combat Kamala Harris. I think they'll go with Michelle Obama as a vice president. Do you think Michelle is going to actually come out and do this? I think that family would huh. Okay, So the top of the ticket, to be clear, you think it's going to be who? Either newser Kennedy? Who do
you think it's going to be? Newsom? Okay? Fair enough? Thank you, Ray, appreciate the phone call eight five zero two zero five WFLA is that e L E L? Are you with me? Yes? I am Dresden is the EO. How are you doing today? I'm terrific. So what do you think is going to happen when the smoke clears? Well, I think they're going to take a play out of the nineteen forties Democratic
ticket when Franklin delean Or just kept swapping out his vice president. And I think they'll find somebody that is palatable for the vice president, kick Harris off who I don't know. But then after he if if Trump doesn't win the election, then they can do a little twenty tith amendment switch arou in January February next year. Okay, So I want to be clear, who do you think is going to be on top of the Democrat ticket come November.
It'll be Biden, okay, followed by a new vice presidential candidate that will quote reinvigorate the Democrats. All right, fair enough, el thanks very much. I appreciate that. We'll get to more of your calls here in just a second. Ken, you're next. It's ten past the hour, taking calls Who's going to be on top of the ticket here in the Morning Show
with Preston Scott. Welcome to Mad Radio Network, Make a Difference Radio Network, and this is the Morning Show with Preston Scott, living past the hour. Calls coming in. Be patient if the phone line's ringing. We are having some challenges with our phone system and hearing you. So speak loudly when you are talking with our call screener and bear with us because we're training and
we're teaching, and so hang in there. All right. We're simply asking who is going to be on top of the Democrat ticket and taking calls at eight five zero two zero five WFLA. Let's go to can in Panama City Beach. Good morning, sir, Good morning mister Scott. Uh yeah, it sounds like your producers in a tunnel. Yeah, we're we we gots. We got some challenges we're working through, So go right ahead. Though.
All right, well he was the only thing I've got is when the world stops because some guy said something, maybe he should be the guy. And I mean George Clinty. I mean he said something and all of a sudden, everybody said, no, let's jump off the ship. There's a hole in the back of the boat. Everybody jump off the ship. Who do you think is going to be on top of the ticket when the balloting is is done? When when the voting happens. I hate to say it,
but it's gonna be him again. Do you hate your Biden? But but do you really hate it? I mean, are you a Democrat? No, well, excuse my language now, I'm a I'm a Republican all day long, ilan and I like my mortgage ready at certain Yeah, I meant nothing for this guy. But wouldn't you then want him on top of the ticket. Oh well yeah, because he'll get beat down, but but he'll be there. I have a good feeling that's what's going to happen.
Thanks very much, I appreciate it. Can thanks for listening to the program. Let's go to Sal. Good morning, Sal. Crap, it's Matt. You're Matt. Yeah, this is mad. Yeah. I think he misunderstood we were having a bad connection. Okay, go ahead, Matt, you're up. What I'm thinking is when Schumer come out and said he's with Joe and everybody's riding but Biden, and you had Jerry Nadler coming out with his hat in his hand, going, yeah, he got beat down.
He wanted a change too, but they're not going to do it. It's definitely going to be Biden and Kamala and we're hoping to go down. So you see no change in the batting order when they when they get to November. No, unless something, you know, less, something bad health wise happens to Biden. No, they're going to be behind him. I mean, look, they put Fetterman in in Pennsylvania when he couldn't even talk, you know, right out of a stroke. It doesn't matter. The Democrats
will vote for a stick figure. Fair enough. Thank you, Matt, appreciate it. Sorry about the name. Let's go to Elizabeth. Elizabeth, you identify as an independent, So what do you think is going to happen when this is all finished? I do. I think that it is going to still be the Biden Hereris ticket, and I think that they are more concerned with down ballot. Explain, they're not too concerned about who's at the top of the ticket. It's everybody down below and whatever sparks their curiosity about
what's going on. It's a lot of drama going on, and that's going to drive people to the ballots to see what exactly is going on. From the misinformed voters I think they call it or disinformed in for voters and all that low information voters. Yep, they're going to be more concerned with down ballots. You know what's interesting is that the down ballot people in Congress, i e. The representatives, the senators, they're the ones that are panicking
right now. They think that their polling shows them that if Biden remains on the ticket, people just won't vote at all and they're out. I think it's going to drive the curiosity peaks and there's going to be more people showing up because it's just like a television show. Thank you so much, Elizabeth, appreciate the phone call. One final caller here in this segment, Ethan, thanks for calling in. Hi, I think the winners meeting Kanye West
to really get to the black munity there. Run that by me one more time. I think the winner they're going to be Kanye West, dude, to really get the black community in there in the election. Okay, I appreciate that, Ethan. I don't think Kanye West is gonna appear on any ballots, but because he's not qualified as a candidate in any state. But hey, if you'd have told me we'd have Trump and Biden going head to head, I'd have said, you lost your mind. But that's where we
are again. Sixteen minutes after the hour, eight five zero two zero five to b FLA one more segment if you want to weigh in on who's gonna be on the Democrat ticket? Twenty two past the hour, taking some phone calls, just getting the pulse of you, the listener. What do you think is going to be on top of the ticket. We're gonna take two more callers because I've got some email I want to share. Charlie, you are up friend, Good morning and welcome, good morning. You're gonna have
to take this. I don't have to tease in my map because I kind of threw up in my throat and I had to take the map. But here's deal, it's gonna be Biden's Harris. The second option is Harris and Michelle. Whoa, whoa, whoa. I'm sorry, my man, my guy, you what you had to take it? You do that? Guys, you threw up. Yeah, I threw up in my in my own mouth, and of course they came out, and it's a long story. I couldn't get get them clean and put it back in. So yeah,
I'm taking away that it is okay, sorry, but it's Harris. It's Harris or Biden. Harris. It's gotta be because they got they got to qualm all of this division going on right now. If they can't keep him in there, they're gonna go with Harris because they need the war chesty Harris will she will name one or two women, either Michelle Obama, which who is probably most likely, or she's going to bring Hillary back in because he'll retard. It's on her step up in the ring. Anyway. The hopes
is get they win, Harris was set down the show takes over. That gives Obama a fourth term. Fair enough, Charlie, thanks very much, and I wish you well. With a little POLYDP. I thank you very much for calling into the program. My brother, Let's go to Steven PC. Hello, my friend, good morning. Can you hear me? Okay, I can hear you awesomely. Well, thank you so much for calling
in. So what's your analysis of all this? Well, I think it's going to be Biden Harris because a lot of the callers who called before said that they'd have the war chest and final it has to go to them. Yep. I think with the Democrats see the riding on the wall, they know they're going to get schlacked in November, so they're going to concentrate on the Senate and congressional races. Will win Trump does fine move in. They
can basically stopped his agenda, and I think that's what's gonna happen. You think the agenda would be, you'd think that the Democrats will take back total control of Congress. I think they will take back maybe one maybe the represent US because the Congress itself is looking a little meek. But I think the Republicans will take back the Senate. But I think the Democrats are going to contentry and taking control of one of the houses. That way, they could
slow Trump down. Thanks very much to appreciate the phone call. Yeah, it's going to be interesting. I personally think this is going to be let me back up. Unbelievably, The Washington Post in IPSOS polling says it's a dead heat. Do you believe that? I don't believe that. I don't. I don't believe that that Biden Trump is a dead heat. Now dead Okay, maybe half of that is sort of right. If the plus or minus on that is, say four, that's a it could be eight point
separation. They're not giving me the plus minus. I don't buy that. I just don't. I will obviously as we get closer to November, the polling's gonna be a little bit different. And that's when you start paying even more attention because they don't want to be wrong. No polling agency wants their credibility blown up. Although we've seen it happen on both sides of the aisle. To be fair, I mean both sides of the isle woefully wrong.
But I don't believe under any set of circumstances. Look, Republicans aren't crying literally behind closed doors, and that is what has happened, and they're not crying out of sympathy for Joe Biden. They're crying over the fact that down ballot they're screwed right now, that's what's going on in these meetings in the
caucus, and so it and all of that is is coming out. In other words, that's that's coming out from their people that in fact, I've got a story here, and I think it's bad form because Republicans know how to If there's a party that knows how to snatch defeat out of the jaws
of victory, it's the Republicans. They are great at it. The National Republican Congressional Committee sent a card and flowers and tissues to their counterparts at the Democrat Congressional Caucus and and and the card said to let you know that thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of sorrow. Now, on one hand, that's funny that that's that's funny. On the on the bigger, big picture, oh no, don't do that. I'm not superstitious, but
still I wouldn't do that. You don't say no hit, or you don't talk about the yips. Leave the picture alone. The guy's rolling three hundred. Say nothing to him, you know, I mean just anyway, it is funny. Okay, it's funny thoughts and prayers because Democrats hate that term. They just they hate it. But at any rate, I do have some email. I'll try to circle around to that if I can. Next
twenty seven to twenty eight, Thanks for the phone calls back. Final half hour of the Morning Show with Preston Scott, ways looking for the truth. It's the Morning Show with Preston Scott on News Radio one hundred point seven WFLA final half hour of the program. I get to say, wah wah, wah wah. Yeah. If there's a better name for a convenience store, I don't know it. Wah wah. We'll talk about that in this a little bit. Got some sound for you to listen to in just a few
moments. Big stories in the press box. Boeing agreed to a plea deal with the Justice Department. Yeah that Boeing. Families of victims of two crashes from twenty eighteen twenty nineteen are asking a judge to throw out the plea agreement. They're saying no, no, no, can't do that. So we'll see where that goes. Florida, Now, Florida, the US Supreme Court Justice Sonya Sodomyer facing a little backlash. She voted against the Second Amendment right
to self defense armed self defense. She was one of the signers of an opinion that said the Second Amendment Amendment does not protect the private right of armed self defense. But she had no problem having herself protected by people carrying firearms. And that's the thing with elitists. The liberals want them. They want themselves to have the rights because they can employ people, you know, members of Congress, whatever. We have security detail, you know, Nancy Pelosi,
she's got security detail, Chuck Schumer security detail. Supreme Court Justice as presidents, they have security detail. The rest of us, you're supposed to just say stop and don't hurt me. Her bodyguards had to shoot a would be carjacker, US marshals armed. Yeah, just seems ironic, doesn't it. Arizona rancher George Allen Kelly Chargers dismissed in the migrant shooting case. He was acquitted by a jury seven to one back in April, but there was
a threat of charges being filed again. They've been dismissed. And a Florida woman arrested for making death threats against Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. Just take one look at the snapshot the booking photo crazy and that pretty much sums it up. Got a couple of emails our topic in the last half hour he took calls on who will be at the top of the ticket. Jeff wrote in, I believe they'll continue to pressure Biden to step down, allow Harris to
run. If he doesn't, I suspect he will suffer a catastrophic health issue, you mean more than the one he already. Harris will select the VP, and the VP will be the actual candidate. There will be elections skullduggery bonus points for the use of the word skullduggery like they had in twenty twenty, because like Biden, there's no way Harris can actually win. Some scandal or issue will scuttle Harris, and the to be named later vice president becomes
the unelected president and they go from there. But my favorite is Jim wrote in and said has to be Biden. The Dems don't have enough time to reprint millions of fraudulent ballots with a new name. Ooh, that was pretty funny. So thanks for your emails. Preston at iHeartRadio dot com. Hey tomorrow on the program, will we will take your calls. It's the first time we've done in a while. Because of the holiday last week, What's
the Bee Friday? Grant Allen will be back in studio. Why because What's the Bee Friday is utter carnage and to throw the producer to be named later to that without a little assistance is just cruel and unusual. And I believe there's a constitutional amendment prohibiting. I think john'son not could be here tomorrow. No, no, no, We've saved this special day for Grant to come in. There's a reason I'm not here on Friday. I'm just saying, yeah, I'm sure. Well, you're the boss. You don't have to
be. You don't have to be. I mean, I didn't have to be here yesterday and today I could have exactly And you know what, and thank you for that, because that's a point that needs to be made for all of us. We don't have to do anything we're doing. You don't have to go to work today. All of you listening, you don't have to that. You might be fired, fair, fair, but you don't have to Here's the importance of that mindset. Everything you're doing, you're choosing
to. You're weighing and measuring cost and benefit, and you're deciding it benefits me to go to work today, and then your attitude changes. You don't have to go to work, you choose to. I'm just saying that's why we're here. We're here to help believe that. Right forty one minutes past the hour, we come back. Some sound that is going to be a lot of fun to listen to. It's The Morning Show with Preston Scott. John pointing to me like, hey, you know you're back on your show.
I'm like, what we're talking about is more part I voted for the rabbit to have the cereal. Okay, that is such an old reference. Yes, it is House Judiciary Committee. On the committee is Eric Swalwell of California, the one who dated the Chinese spy. Have you know that Eric Swalwell is a special kind of guy. My sons would say, he's just got that special kind of punch face that some people have. Did you just yeh? Unfortunately for mister Swalwell, across from him is Ben Shapiro, And
this is how it all went down. Mister Shapiro, Thank you for joining us today. I think it is important that you're here as one of the leading conservative voices in the country, and the country has in the last couple of weeks talked a lot about and googled Project twenty twenty five. It's one of the most googled search terms right now, and you're not going to get any censorship for me. So I just wanted to know from your perspective.
I think it would help us understand, on just like a scale of zero to one hundred percent, how much do you support Project twenty twenty five. I think, like President Trump, I haven't looked all that deeply at Project twenty twenty five, but it seems that Democrats on this committee sort of like Peter Pan and Tinkerbell, if they say Project twenty twenty five enough, their presidential candidate becomes alive again. And so well, let's just talk about pieces
of it. And I guess you can tell me if you support it. You probably want less bureaucracy, right, I do. I want less bureaucracy. You want more efficiency? I do I want more efficiency? You want taxpayer money spent wisely. Congrats, I'm becoming a Republican. My parents would be prop My parents would be proud. That's brilliant. Couple things. Number one, the reason why Project twenty twenty five is a big deal and Swallowell references, Google searches and all that. Well, Biden told all of his
followers to search it and because this is what we do. Monday on the program, Hans von Sbokowsky of the Heritage Foundation, one of the many minds behind Project twenty twenty five, will be on the show to talk about Project twenty twenty five. What is it? Why is it that Democrats are obsessed with trying to make it something so evil and sinister? We'll share what Project twenty twenty five is from somebody in the middle of it. How's that huh?
Rather than taking anybody's word for their analysis or interpretation of it, We'll talk to someone that's right there. And that's coming up Monday. But I just wanted to point out that it. First, congratulations to Representative Swallwell because he acted civil. He does not do that very often, he truly doesn't. He's usually a rude, obnoxious human being. He was very civil. My hunch is because in front of him was somebody that without a note nearby
can just blow him out of the water. Because whatever you think of Ben Shapiro, he knows the issues. He knows him and so I think it brought about some restraint to Congressman Smallwell, because I thought he was very appropriate in that part of the exchange, which is refreshing forty six minutes after the hour, come back and I get to say, wah wah, all right, we've kind of settled the pecking order. It's BUCkies, busy Bee, wah wah, then circle K when it comes to the convenience stores. That's
kind of the breakdown. The BUCkies is next level. Anybody that's ever been to a Bucki's it's next level. And oh, by the way, the barbecue beef brisket is insane. The best barbecue brisket I have ever eaten anywhere. You name the best restaurant you've ever had barbecue, give me BUCkies. It's next level. But I'm trying to get my brain around this. A guy in New Jersey named Tyler geyer Risen is collecting something called wah wah order
strips. What is a wah wah order strip? They he's been He's spent three years collecting his order slips to get a full set numbered zero through nine hundred and ninety nine. Now, I guess you can go into a wah wah. I've only been in and out of a couple of them, and not like in and out, I guess you can order food. And so he just started collecting the numbers that and I guess they recycle after nine hundred and ninety nine, So he didn't collect a thousand consecutively. He's he's probably
had to get a lot more to get Yeah. Yeah, he's asking friends, hey, do you have number two hundred and twelve, you know, or if you see one, that kind of thing. So he's he's he's got it done. He collected the whole thing. Here's the deal. Why this stood out to me is I was having a renaissance Forrest Gump moment, because if you remember in the movie, he just decides one day, I just thought I'd run, and he just started running, right, and he just ran run farst. Yes, he just but I mean he put on
the nikes and he started running. And I and I looked at this story and I just thought to myself, who decides to start collecting wah wah order slips, and then I and then I mildly to myself, and I said, Hey, why not why not Forrest Gump? Why not go run brother Tyler? Collect those strip those those slips get to nine hundred and ninety nine q Q brought to you by Barono Heating and Air. It's the Morning Show
