On today’s episode midwife and first-time mum, Caitlin, shares the birth of her daughter at home. Caitlin comes from a long family history of heavily medicalised births but a homebirth
was something that always deeply resonated with her. Being considered a high-risk pregnancy meant she would face resistance along the way, but instead of allowing outside opinions to sway her decision making she chose to dive deep into all the research available to make informed and educated decisions that she knew were best for her and her baby. That extensive education intwined with her intuition gave her all the tools that she needed to the safely and innately guide her delicious 4kg baby girl home.
