The latest from our daily newsletter at podnews.net with Red Circle. In the UK, Audio and Radio Industry Awards, the Arias announced their 2025 winners. The awards are mostly for radio stations, but gold winners include the podcast Dead River from Audio Always for Best Commercial Partnerships. And the inaugural UK Audio Brand of the Year 2025 went to podcast company Girlhanger, which produces, among many others, The Rest is Politics.

Tony Pasta, the company's co-founder, told us that the award proves there's still a huge appetite for long-form, intelligent content delivered in an entertaining way. Online radio streamer Accuradio is seeking Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection after failing to reach agreement with music royalty company SoundExchange. After almost 25 years, Accuradio has paid over $13.5 million in royalties to SoundExchange. The popular audio show 20,000 Hertz is coming to YouTube.

Dallas Taylor writes, This is not a video version of the podcast. It's its own thing, fully designed for YouTube. The podcast will remain beautifully crafted and story-driven. The YouTube series will complement it by exploring sound in ways that have never been seen before. And Acast launched Talent Voiced Ads. Brands can now pay to have Acast Talent voice their scripted ads, programmatically run across Acast's network of more than 140,000 shows.

We'll have more details in tomorrow's PodNews Weekly Review, which you can find wherever you get your podcasts. And in podcast news, the box of oddities delves into the strange and mysterious aspects of our world, exploring topics ranging from bizarre medical conditions to unsolved mysteries. It's with Airwave. We thank them for their support this month. And between rising suicide rates, declining wages and social disconnection, young men are facing a crisis.

In Lost Boys, Anthony Scaramucci and Professor Scott Galloway join forces to explore why young men are failing to thrive and what we can do to help them succeed. Anthony and Prof G dissect the problem and seek to give young men a playbook for resilience, so those young men know that they're not alone, their setbacks don't define them and their next move can change everything.
