It was the latest in a series of unreported layoffs at the company, which still offers a podcast directory in spite of not accepting new shows since February last year. Google's NotebookLM podcast hosts have had to be retrained to stop them being rude when interrupted.
Writing in Forbes, Bernard Marr wonders whether AI podcast hosts will destroy the very soul of broadcasting. Maybe they could be rude when you interrupt them.
