The latest from podnews.net with Central Talent Booking. Transform your podcast guest lineup. Podcast One is to switch hosting to Amazon's Art19. It had been using the relatively unknown Nox Solutions as a podcast host. The Podcast Index suggests Nox Solutions hosts around 1,250 shows, just over 1,000 of which are with Podcast One and Launchpad One. DocuSign is the latest company with a new Sonic logo.
In this case, it's described as a red thread that runs through all of DocuSign's marketing and, we hope, podcast advertising. We've a few examples in the press release, which you'll find linked from our show notes and our newsletter at podnews.net. And this is the Sonic logo itself. Isn't that lovely? SiriusXM shared the company's 2024 results. What's working? Well, wouldn't you know it? It's podcasts, says Chris Peterson.
In his analysis of the numbers, he adds that it's time for independent publishers to control their own monetization. BBC Studios has signed with iHeartMedia to become the exclusive third-party sales partner for BBC podcasts in the US. It joins ARN's iHeart, which has rights in Australia, and NZME's iHeart, which has rights in New Zealand. There's a pattern there. If TikTok goes away, it'll have a surprising result. A drop in podcast listening, suggests Edison Research.
More black listeners, 73% of them, remember the brands they hear advertising on podcasts. That's higher than the overall population at just 70%. That's according to a new report from Nielsen called Connecting with Black America. And Ashley Carman's Soundbite newsletter covers seats for podcasters in the White House. She says, I find it hard to believe that they'll want to do so with regularity just to hear soundbites that they can get elsewhere.
And there's more on SiriusXM as well in Soundbite. Now we've a special link to save you 25% off Soundbite and the rest of Bloomberg's tech newsletter bundle, which in a masterstroke of a business deal, we don't earn a thing from. We just want to ensure the future of good podcast news coverage. So go get it. You'll find a link in our show notes and our newsletter at podnews.net.

Radio INK reports, though, that the new head of the FCC may wish to overrule Audacy's deal. The company owns a number of podcast studios, including Pineapple Street Studios.
