The latest from podnews.net with Central Talent Booking. Your podcast deserves the best guests. Podcast Expo is taking place today at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld in Florida with the full tracks starting today. The Podcast Hall of Fame ceremony is held this evening as well, welcoming 11 new people. Audience Lift has released a brand new version of its audience growth platform.

The company says it grows your podcast audience by advertising your podcast trailer on premium digital publishers such as CNN, Yahoo and Wall Street Journal, finding people interested in what your show is about. Podcasting never stops and a podcast studio in Melbourne in Australia is now open right around the clock. It's called This is a Studio and it has two video-equipped studios and a mobile setup for conferences and exhibitions.

Audio, which launched a podcast app that strips the ads in November 2023, has announced a new share offering. The documentation comes with full balance sheets for the company. We learn that in the nine months ending September 30th, 2024, its total operating expenses were 5.6 million. It paid its chairman, CEO and CFO in total for the year 1.07 million. And the company's total revenue during that time was... zero.

Just before Christmas, Marketplace Tech covered a look back at 20 years of podcasting. We'll link to that today. The Webby Awards has announced a session with Dan Taberski, who was awarded Podcast of the Year by Apple Podcasts last month. It's on January the 29th. And the Podnews Weekly Review this week includes an interview with Audioboom CEO, Stuart Last.

The thing that I'm most proud of is the fact that we've made more than $250 million for independent podcast creators over the last seven years.

You can find the Pod News Weekly review wherever you get your podcasts. And in podcast news, if ever there was a week for the LA Times to launch a climate podcast, it's this. Boiling Point is a new podcast by Times climate columnist Sammy Roth and will delve into the biggest climate stories shaping the world. It starts off, of course, with a look at the fires in Los Angeles. An outrage and optimism.

The climate podcast released a new season today using the award-winning UK-based production company Persifonica behind hit shows such as Political Currency and Miss Me to help grow the success of the show. Hosted by former UN Climate Chief Christiana Figueres with political strategist Tom Rivett-Karnock and business consultant Paul Dickinson, the show aims to welcome a wider audience to the climate conversation. And this podcast is sponsored by Central Talent Booking.

Your podcast deserves the best guests and central talent booking helps you secure top-tier guests to boost your podcast's reach and engagement.
