According to a study released today by Sounds Profitable, podcast advertising is recalled just as much by female listeners as male listeners. And that's not the case in TV, radio or even Reddit where there's significant male bias in recall.

The advertising media conference continues tomorrow. And in Germany, the MA podcast figures were released for April. Total downloads were down 5% from March. True crime show Maudlust made it to number one, with 6.8 million downloads. The ranker measures participating publishers only.
In people news, Irish public broadcaster RTE has appointed its first head of podcasting. Hugh Ormond has worked within RTE as a producer for radio and TV for 18 years.
