The Daily Mail expands its podcasts to the US. The latest from podnews.net with CoHost: For Better Podcast Insights. The UK's Daily Mail is expanding its podcasts into the United States. Head of podcasts for owner DMG Jamie East tells the PodNews Weekly Review today that podcasts like The Trial of Diddy are showing that expansion into the US will work well.

Jamie East

"We've got the facilities to do it, we've got the people, we've got the willing and the desire. So it's a pretty straightforward leap."

And he says there are wider opportunities too.

Jamie East

"All of a sudden you can have a 24 hour operation. There will always be an editor available to cut something if you've got someone based in Melbourne or Sydney and New York and London. There's not an hour where you can't have a team working away. So the efficiencies are brilliant."
