Phantom Electric Ghost Interviews UMAY

Bio:

Umay is a Turkish-English singer, writer, and composer. In her music she combines traditional orchestral instruments with modern synths and electric guitars; drawing inspiration from a wide range of sources, from musical theatre to contemporary pop. Umay is a member of Andover Musical Theatre Company and is currently writing a musical play inspired by the medieval poem ‘Beowulf’. Alongside her musical, Umay continues to write for herself. Having released ‘Remember Me’ from her musical earlier this year, she has now released ‘Midnight Train’, an independent song, on 7 October 2022.
