Biography
After graduate school in clinical psychology I worked in community mental health for seven years then served at Woodridge Psychiatric Hospital, Quillen Rehabilitation Hospital (manager of Psychological services), 7 area school systems, as well as conducting many other psychological assessments. I've been a board member of Inter-Mountain Psychological Association for four years.
After I had my third child in 2001, I decided to become a stay-at-home mom and was able to do that for over 6 years. When my youngest went to first grade, I started back to work, conducting disability evaluations. I was grateful for that experience, after having been home for years, but discovered my desire was for private practice which I have done for over 15 years. I taught several classes on Boundaries at my church which led to the development of my podcast, Phoenix and Flame.
