Episode description

PEG INTERVIEWS THE ERLY BAND

Brief bio:

The Erly is Collin Mattiford, Trevor McDonald, Alyssa Serviss, and Fran Gleason — four musical tastes and backgrounds brought together in one unified collective. As a working band, The Erly serves up a concoction of four-part harmonies, roots rock groove, and a live set of jam band grittiness. With a studio album (Shadows) and a live EP under their belts, The Erly is preparing to release a brand new single on July 30th, called "Jasmine." A modern fusion of breezy soft rock and funk/soul, "Jasmine" pulls from The Erly's 1970's record collection to produce a dance tune that encapsulates layers of keyboards, vocals, and percussion, but more importantly, a live band feel.
