Sunny Daze aka Des Valentine is an up and coming TripHop/Indie artist from Columbus, Ohio. She was raised in Atlanta, Georgia, where her love for music began. Her grandfather, Kelly Smith, is a drummer/pianist who played alongside well-known bands like the Temptations and Earth, Wind and Fire. She is also a self-taught producer and lyricist inspired by the likes of Mariah Carey, Selena, Doja Cat and Bob Marley, to name a few. Sunny’s stage name derives from a character (Sonny Lospecchio) in her favorite movie, “A Bronx Tale”. She was given this name by family members, because of her mob mentality-loyalty over everything,blended with her caring nature
