‘Tis the season… the season for stress from impacted schedules, calorie-packed meals, minor home refurbishing with Christmas decor, and debt inducing shopping lists! Since when did Christmas get so crowded and complicated? This Christmas we’ll help people consider that the weight we feel comes from things that God never asked us to carry, and His solution is simple: Let go of all that and come back to the Savior come to earth to restore broken people.
This message is from Gary at the 8:55am service. How many of you would say that there's at least one area of your life, maybe more, that you love to control? It seems this season especially drives many of us to white-knuckle our way through - but then we miss out on the awe, distracted by our own need to have things just so. This Sunday in our Advent series, we'll find the antidote to the need to control as we look at Mary's role in the Christmas story. Get a sneak peek in Luke 1:26-38!

Do you ever feel like life leads you into a cave, where it's dark and you're weary? How do you find light in those places? This Sunday, Katy Langley brings us into David's story when God used time in caves to shape David's character and prepare him for his calling.
What giant are you facing? What's your "Goliath" - something you can't defeat in your own strength? This Sunday, we dive into David's story of fighting the giant Goliath and find new courage for the battles we face. With Jesus, we don't fight FOR victory - we fight FROM victory!

This Sunday, we dive into the story behind 1 Samuel 16:7, and see how we can find confidence in the face of rejection.
King David's story reveals a very human hero full of flaws, yet called “a man after God’s own heart.” He has long inspired people who wonder, as David often did, “How can I find lasting strength to face my challenges? Where is God when my life seems terrible? How do I handle my self-doubt? Why does God seem to be saying no to my dream?” This fall, we're retracing the actual steps of David in Israel to better understand the truth behind his life. We'll not only understand David better - we'll lea...

As we continue in our Reboot series, we're looking back at the church of Antioch in the book of Acts, and looking forward in faith at what our city needs most from us: living into our mission to empower the generations to passionately follow Christ, one home at a time. This Sunday, we dive into the second priority of G4 discipleship - GROW - and see what happens when, with God's grace and true grit, we prioritize spiritual growth.
On August 14, 1951 in a peninsula living room, 22 people prayed and asked God for a church that would “go to the people,” sharing the Gospel in a new and fresh way. They envisioned a church that would not settle to simply open its doors and wait for people to come to them. For the next four weeks in a series we're calling Reboot, we'll look back and refresh our 2025 vision, and look forward in faith at what our city needs most from us: living into the mission to empower the generations to passio...
All summer we have been walking with Jesus as He intentionally came face to face with people who others had written off. We have watched Jesus cross racial boundaries, cross gender boundaries, cross political boundaries, cross socio-economic boundaries, and more to bring grace, truth and transformation. This Sunday we see how Jesus encountered the demon-possessed man in Luke 8:26-39.

When Jesus encountered Zaccheus (Luke 19:1-10), an ordinary sycamore tree became a divine appointment. Jesus saw past Zaccheus' labels and past his sin, and called him by name. This Sunday, Gary (8:55 and 11:00) and Carlos (9:05 and Hudson) brings us into the story as we continue in our Face to Face series.

This Sunday, Gary, Carlos, and Scott teach from John 4:1-42, and we see more clearly the beautiful, life-changing power of a face to face encounter with Jesus.

In our summer series Face to Face, we're taking a look at ordinary people who had divine encounters when they came face-to-face with Jesus. As we eavesdrop on these encounters, we hope that in coming face to face with Jesus, we will in turn treat every face we face with the love and compassion of Jesus. Gary continues our series this Sunday in all gatherings as we look at Mary Magdalene's encounter with Jesus' grace.
Our view of God is the most important thing about us. It shapes how we feel about God and the values and priorities we have in interacting with others. The best way to get to know God is by looking at the One He sent—Jesus. In coming face to face with Jesus, we will in turn treat every face we face with the love and compassion of Jesus, knowing that every person is loved by God, bears God’s image, and would be accepted by God if they repented and received God’s gift of eternal life through Jesus...
Our biggest win is not what we're doing for Jesus, it's how we are becoming like Jesus. Our hope and prayer is that through the last 8 weeks of our Made for Mondays series, we're all understanding in deeper ways how to partner with God in our workplaces - and that we become more and more like Jesus in the process. This Sunday is Father's Day, and Gary and Danny share a special message for dads about becoming who God made us to be.
