In our summer series Face to Face, we're eavesdropping on divine encounters when people came face to face with Jesus, so we can in turn treat every face we face with the love and compassion of Jesus. This Sunday, Garrett Brown speaks from John 5:1-18 - the story of the man at the Pool of Bethesda - and we discover that no one is invisible to Jesus, or beyond His grace. Garrett Brown is a Peninsula local who spent over twenty years in pastoral ministry. Currently he serves as the Director of Christian Union at Stanford University, a campus ministry focused on developing Christian leaders at the nation’s most influential schools. Garrett and his wife Susan have three kids, and live in Redwood City.
