41. The Tale of the Tapir (with Dr Patrícia Medici)

Today Jack is joined by the one and only Patrícia Medici to discuss one of his favourite animals… the Tapir! The pair talk about what tapirs are, why they undoubtedly have the cutest babies in the animal kingdom, and how we can all act to protect them. They also discuss what it is like to chair an IUCN specialist group, the importance of removing negative stereotypes from animals, and the power of crazy ideas!

For anyone who isn’t familiar with her work, Patrícia has worked with tapirs for over 25 years! Patrícia runs the Lowland Tapir Conservation Initiative and Chairs the IUCN Tapir Specialist Group, so there really is a lot of ground to cover and there is no one better to discuss these amazing animals with!
