Loving Mother Moon: Guided Imagery

Cultivating our Inner Loving Mother nurtures us deeply as we heal from complex trauma and learn to have compassion, patience, and unconditional love for ourselves. So many of us did not have warm, loving, and nurturing Mothers to learn from, but as Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes says, “have heart, no matter what happened to you that light still lives inside of you” [from Warming the Stone Child].
A guided imagery to connect with our Divine Mother Moon, our universal Mother who blesses us in the dark with a bright and guiding light. Mother Moon is intuitive, warm, and protective. She is the Mother who gifts us with conscious light that guides us in our darkest times. Taking time to rest and build our imaginal world helps us to find peace, protection, and healing, which we then can call on when we go out into the world with others. It is a powerful ritual to build our imaginal world. The more we show up to rest and dream of our guides, the more our guides will ease-fully show up for us.
