and we are here with a great show today. We've got a couple of really cool things going on. We've got some really great news articles. We're going to be talking about a holidays in and out of the parks, making sure I got that right. And then we're reading some responses to last week's question, which was what are your favorite places
to have dates inside Disney? Um, couple of cool things to mention right now.
You'll notice that we're not in the room of tee shirts, the tee shirt chamber for those that are watching on YouTube for yes, for those who watch. And if you just listen on the podcast, you should definitely maybe check out the YouTube because we always have visuals going on here.
Um, so yeah, we're in a blank room with a white wall and it's because we are reconstructing this room to be our podcast studio and we're hoping that by the next show this white wall will actually be a flourishing room of good vibes and energy. Five chick vibe check . Um, and then we also have another very cool thing going on today. Joe , do you want to show, show them our new toy I got, we have an app for a sound board and I get to play all these different meme tones.

Okay. So for those of you who don't know guests , Dawn , I'm in fantasy land at the magic kingdom, has a new look. He's got some new threads he's serving , serving two rows . So here's the deal. First they forever, they've had him in his, you know, animated look, the animated , um , costume and now they've recently changed him over to like the live action look costume. My thoughts on it, I don't get why people have been so much. It's just a costume and I think he looks just as fine.
My preference,
if someone is going to comment, sorry , I'll fight with you about this first.
Sorry. But like my PR , I have a preference. The preference is the first one. I liked the animated version. It makes me think of my childhood when I see him. But at the end of the day you can still go meet guest on at the magic kingdom and that's cool.
This is the best thing. So I have an opinion and it is that I love his new live action costume. It actually looks like he belongs in the world. Well, I felt like the other one was so like cartoony and like, I dunno, just like it didn't look naturally occurring to the, to the real world that you saw growing up. And that's why I'm not saying no, but it's like, how do we have a truly realized millennium Falcon and then a guy walking around in a single toned yellow and red sweater
because the millennium Falcon was a live action movie and guest on was animated.

Disney's Hollywood studios debuts the new logo on the arch a to get into the animation a court. Let's talk about this. How about we take down that launch Bay sign and put up an animation Academy sign again, how about that? That's that . Those are the one that's the only sign that needs replacing over there. Anyone agree? Hot take. Take that, that the new signs , screens, graphic design is my passion. So I really kind of in that sense love it. But
so I mean here's the thing, like studios is my favorite park of all time and I know that it needs a lot of TLC right now and I feel like they've been making some really weird decisions. So even though if the sign's not my favorite, I don't care. I still have studios.
Oh I love studios. I still love studios. Don't get me wrong. Studios is still great.
It looks more like something you would see like in an email of like bill something and then signs off like director of then Holly was
a signature, an email signature.
Like anything playful that makes me want to be inspired and dream and play. But it's a, it's a sign buddy . It's okay. You can still go under the part .

And this is a, this is a big one. People , this is hot GOs . Big mistake. Huge. Oh, why don't we get that on the soundboard for when someone makes a big mistake. That's huge steak anyway. Um , put in the big mistake main here for the video. If you haven't heard Disney, well fuel rod was going to start charging $3 per swap.
And if you don't know what the fuel around is, is those rechargeable batteries that you pay $30 one time for or you used to be able to, well yeah, now you can, but uh, everybody on Twitter was kind of not happy about it, including myself. I don't know if you follow us on Instagram, but we had a funeral for hours and we swapped one last time and I even made a Facebook event for the final swamp. You had to be there. It's still fun. All swap [inaudible] .
Um, but basically there was what I think was a lawsuit potentially. Um, and long story short, they're still free swapping. Jay , you said you wanted to take this news and I'm not that punk
getting a lot of misinformation.
I had a tweet today that maybe we can link here of, it's the, a picture of flounder from the live action little mermaid last night, which I didn't watch but him making a Derpy face and it just says Disney when it got the lawsuit about the fuel rods
essentially like we get it like we understand like fuel rod being like, Oh this is now massive. We should start charging more. Like that's, that's how businesses work. That's fine. But the problem with it is you sold me on a $30 charger to specifically buy from you because it's unlimited lifetime free swapping. Cause if you change that, you change originally what I bought and that's the issue for me. So I'm glad they changed it.
I agree. I do agree indeed. So yeah . So I would have loved a piece of that. A class action lawsuit, cash . I'm kidding. All $4 that everyone would have got. Um, so let's just take a moment very quickly to talk about , uh, our store. This week we're dropping a bunch of new , uh, inspired pieces from the new Disney movie coming out. uh , today or we're going to be focusing on things to do around Walt Disney world for the holidays. I focused on things specifically outside of the parks. So you do not need park mission to do the things that I liked to do during the holidays and what these to do . I don't know if they're gonna make you guys pay it again to the par . We'll see. Um, but yeah, no, we're really excited to do this. The holidays are truly our favorite time of the year.
Like I went to the magic kingdom alone last night and did absolutely nothing but just walk around and it was, I don't remember the last time I had that much fun at the magic kingdom. It was amazing just being in the atmosphere. So we're excited about the holidays and we're going to give you a lot of good tips and tricks.
Alright . Who wants to kick us off?

well let me pull up my own lens .

So imagine we're having coffee at my house.
All right. Um , no. Um, so my first thing that [inaudible] ,
one of the first things that I wrote down on my list, which is kind of a short list of lucrative bleeding sticky , um, is basically, I mean it does require park admission , so I didn't follow that rule. Um, but animal kingdom is the only park that you can meet Mickey and Minnie at like together. And during Christmas time they meet in their ugly Christmas sweaters and Mickey's wearing a Santa hat and it's very, very cute.
One of my favorite things to do. Skewed,
it really is cute. And I didn't know that until I actually went to go see them. And then the cast member at PhotoPass told me like, you know, this is the only place you can meet them and get pictures together. And yeah, like you're right, their outfits are stinking cute. Oh my gosh. Is that what I should be for Deborah Day ? Oh, her little outfit. Oh my gosh. Sorry. My brain's going, but that's really cute. I like that idea. You're making them pay. That's fine.
That's fine. All right . So my first one that I wanted to talk about is outside of the parks, but you would have to pay for it or not, I guess depending. And I feel like Lexis , this is probably definitely on Lexis lists , so I'm sure we'll kind of run this one together. My favorite thing to do every Christmas is rent a cabin at the wilderness camp grounds , um, with a golf cart and ride dirty and just look at all the beautiful Christmas lights that everyone sets up.
Um, a lot of people camp out at the cabins and the campgrounds weeks at a time, if not months come holiday season pretty much from like October to January. Uh , Pete , lots of people do like three, four a week trips and some of them just go so hard. Um, some of the really good ones with blocks closer to pioneer hall , um , just go all the way out. Um, I love it.
Uh, we just shot our video for our Christmas stuff this week and we brought all the Christmas decorations from my house and we set it up for the couple of days that we were there. And it was so fun. It was so cool. It was so cozy. We got to like just play card games, go to hooptie do we got to go to trails then for breakfast and it just felt so Christmas EFL. So holiday E um, but one thing to know is that you can rent a golf cart without staying there.
Um , you can rent it for the day and then use that to zip around and see everything you want to see. And you can go to the campfire at night. You can eat it . The Winnebago food truck. I dunno. That's one of my favorite things. Pretty much ever.
Yeah. That one was also on my list , you know, because I'm the one who introduced you to all the wonderful campground magic. Um ,
do you have any points laying on the way you give a lot of gold stars cookies once someone gets those girls something . There we go. Thank
you. It was on my list too, so I had to have pointed out that it was originally, you know, anyway, so , um, yeah, same thing essentially, but I on top of the golf cart you can also um, pay to be on a horse carriage, which is really cool. My kids , um, have never done that. And we usually go do the golf cart, but whenever they see the horse and carriage, they really, really want to go do. And I think for Christmas that's kind of cool and kind of different and fun.
But if we're going to do the golf cart, usually what we do, if you go like in December, it does get cold tea or sometimes bring your own blanket. It's like your cute Christmas . He blankets because it like makes it feel more cozy and Christmasy. Bring some hot chocolate or coffee and just have that with you while you're driving around the golf cart. Um , if you don't want to spend any money, there's still a way for you to do this. You can go and take the bus and they have buses.
I have this up at every little campsite. And then you can walk around cause some of the campsites are so decorated you can actually walk through them. It's crazy. So even if you don't wanna spend any money, go take the buses around the whole campsite and it's free.
Yeah , I love that one. Well you should have like a golf car to a horse and just like have it pulled us instead of a sleigh . Yeah. Yeah . Interesting. Golf cart. Hold on to that. Okay. Hmm. Holding on

over to Disney Springs. Um, so one of my favorite things to do, and this is free, once again, coming in with another gold star, Cody thrown my way. Um, the Christmas tree trail, this is so much fun and you can spend so much time in there. It seems like you can just walk quickly through, but if you actually pay attention to every single tree, they're all themed and decorated differently. Whether it's a movie character or a movie entirely. Some of them are parks. It's really, really cool.
There's a lot of details that go into them. And so that's super fun. And then after you're done doing that, especially if you have kids go on over to the days of Christmas store, they have all over the store hidden the 12 days of Christmas on these cute like little like plastic, like you know, decoration and there's some outside , some on the ceilings of everywhere. It's really fun.
It's, I thought it was my kids and they like to go every year, try to find them all , remember where they're all at, which is pretty cool. And then also Disney Springs, there's usually a lot of like holiday live entertainment , um, that they play on the main stage. They're right outside of world at Disney, once again, this whole day at Disney Springs is a holiday free
enjoyment and that's where Santa Claus meets too. You can get pictures with Santa Claus at Disney Springs and the wait times are not long to meet him. I've done it before. I have pictures of Santa Claus as an adult look back. It's cool. They have like a , like a return time [inaudible]

yeah. So definitely
he's ranked for the holidays. If you can go on a week night when it's not the weekend when it's crazy, you guys will love it.

I thought I had something to add to Springs but not really covered that pretty well done .
There are a lot of the restaurants use super cool holiday menus.
I applied tag last night and they had something going on. Um, Jacqueline's , he's hanger bar always does seasonal um, food and Jack Linsey's food is always so, so, so, so good. And then also Wolfgang puck has um, seasonal specials in the food over there is crazy. It's so good. Yeah. I lowered it so bad.
I think I'm coming to our favorite ride . Feels like we've been there during the holiday season. Homecoming, if you notice, like I feel like they
only [inaudible] .
I've only just recently started noticing them participating in the Disney Springs food events. Like, I, maybe I'm wrong and I'm probably wrong, but the first time I really remember actually going in there to try something, who's going to be just went in for that Turkey sandwich for the fall flavors? So I hope they do, man Southern, there's nothing better than holiday food from the Southern Southern kitchens and restaurants I think has the best Southern food on properties .
It's kinda , it's not really up for debate.
Oh yeah. Well our Joe , so I completed mine.
Yeah. Do you have any commentary on either of our things where even listening [inaudible] care?
I've never done Disney Springs at Christmas. I don't know. I've always wanted to try this . Never
in December when they're up . Probably actually before November and they're in November, I think on Friday. Thanks Molly. Over they're giving me [inaudible] on Friday. I'm there. They're here. So Joe, Oh, will be out very married.
Well, but if we skipped
anyway, go ahead. Give us a little window. Give us another holiday and do I meant you gotta charge us again?
Yes. Okay. So my next one [inaudible] come on. Recognize my face. I know what it is. Um, I, I like to go mini golfing. I , I hear there are very few things that I enjoy more in life than mini golf. Seriously. Bingo and like card games and that's like pretty much it like that . Like I don't really like sports as most of us know. Um, so mini golf is very fun for me. I don't particularly like regular golf. I don't agree with that lifestyle.
But , um, winter, summer land emphasis on the winter land is all Christmas themed and I haven't done the summer land side because I only, I like anytime I've ever gone, like I only really go because I want like to feel like Christmas and they have Christmas music playing. Um, I think it's 18 homes . I don't remember exactly. Um, and it's like not, it's like a little bit expensive. It's like I think like maybe under $20, 14 , 14, 14. So it's not that bad. And um, yeah, it's all Christmas themed.
It's a lot of fun. If you want to play against other people or if you want to go by herself, why haven't we ever played mini golf together every time? I suggest it.
I haven't , they have snow. They have snow . Yes. So they have no app whenever , all day long. Like when you first like start before you play, there's these two huge like red like tube looking things. It's Snope snuck and you get free candy canes when you complete the whole course.
Great . Yeah, I didn't get that. I don't know. Maybe I didn't check one.

good . We have to go mini golfing and then we did it last holiday season as well. Or two holidays ago we went and mini golf and like the freezing cold and then walked over to Swan and dolphin and had cocktails. It was , it's such a fun thing. So for Fantasia, I'm sorry we did Fantasia, not Somerlan but either way mini golf and Fantasia. It puts you in their overflow lot and you can walk right over to the Swan and dolphin. Um, at fins in the middle. They have an awesome cocktail program.
The food there is great. Um , super, super, super aesthetic in there and a lot of fun. Um , definitely recommend it if that's something you're interested in. Um, good job, Joe . Good luck . Thank you. Thank you.

I love it. All right. I love soundboards. All right . Um, so my next thing that I wanted a talk amount was, so I'm always kind of trying to like reinvent the party here. Um, what this , um, so obviously there's like a lot of the things that you can do normally that are now all of a sudden Christmas themed while you're here at Disney world showcase during the holidays is super fun. Um, there's the Christmas cookie trail. Um, there's the candlelight processional, which is awesome.
We're going to see Neil Patrick Harris. Um, and then there's festival of the holidays, which is so awesome. They even have one booth. It's the most Jewish thing Disney does , uh, at all for Hanukkah . It's pretty much the only thing that happens for Hanukkah, Oliver , Walt Disney world property, unless I'm mistaken. And sometimes it world of Disney, there was like one Hanukkah piece of merge or something like that.
Um, but they have this little Jewish deli booth that does , um, Reuben's black and white cookies this year. There's a potato lock goes with smoked salmon. I love that. That's very holiday eat for me. I mean, it might even have a holiday drink around the world tour shortcoming, which would just be great to wear there . Um, but then there's also your other things. Um, so the monorail crawl , the what? Quick flag. Yeah , yeah . No . And uh, so now you're monorail crawl. You get to do ugly sweater.
Monorail crawls with all the holiday drinks that are out. So at the contemporary today, I just had a frozen Apple cider , um, with red stag whiskey in it , uh , Evan Williams. And it was like amazing. So you got to do a total flip of the monorail crawl. And then obviously California girls is a seasonal menu. So, you know, they'll have their seasonal, their drinks in there and their bites and stuff. And uh, yeah.
And this year, I , I've not done this before, but it's my mission pretty much all year. We like to rent boats and go out and do whatever and do nothing. And we bring food and we have our time, you know , um, but I want to do an ugly sweater, Christmas boat party this year. I like renting the, the 10 person pontoons from the marinas at the resorts and um , you can rent them by the hour. It's like 90 an hour or 45 an hour if you have a cast member with you or if you are a cast member.
Um, and I want to bring like some decorations, some Garland to hang around the boat, a bunch of ugly sweaters and rock out on the boat. Um, I don't feel, I feel like they wouldn't know or care.
I don't think like hung it. Like don't tape it on anything, but I would just lay it on the bench, the rocks around , Hey , I'm not gonna like command shit . I mean, you could wrap it up.
Yeah.
And just not stick it to anything, but you wouldn't need to if you wrapped it. So free idea for you guys. If you want to do that 10 friends, which means $9 an hour per person and they let you bring your own food and stuff. Honestly , you get some holiday food if you're at a grand flow, go into Gasparillas Turkey, cranberry Sando .
Very cool. Yeah. Jumping off the whole resort train. They're kind of like Cody was saying, yeah, explosion. No , never heard of this before. Going to the resorts for Christmas. We knew , um, wait, they're going to interrupt me with a soundbite . I'm purposely waiting to speak. Go ahead. Do it. Know
that was me blowing your mind with the ugly sweater boat party. I get better at this soon . We beg. You are just going to buy Joan Ariana Grande's down sound board is going to be her doing high with this .
Okay, so the resorts. Yeah. Everyone, you know, you know, you can go to grand flow . See the gingerbread house really contemporary. Like Cody said, they have the gingerbread house there that has the castle and the whole mural from Mary Blair. Um , it's great. It's awesome. We love it. Um, that the one , um , resort that most people don't talk about, which they should because I think it is actually the best one to go to out of all the resorts for Christmas is this one, a dolphin? [inaudible]
besides that, that's my favorite resort. But like they have a fun little twist on what they do. So they called themselves literally, they call themselves Santa's favorite resort. That's what they call themselves . Um , and they have a Santa meet and greet at the Swan and dolphin. They have holiday music like all over the place. It's decorated like crazy in there. And here's the best part, Joe, you'll, Oh , this is your aesthetic. Santa isn't a tropical outfit.
It's like totally your aesthetic goatee , right ? Oh yeah. Oh yeah. Um, and so that's a really fun cause it has a lot more than just the standard tree or the gingerbread, which the gender thing is crazy. You're watching them make it today, eh , that, I mean those people are crazy talented, so definitely not downplaying that. Um , but definitely what a Swan and dolphin and spend some time there, a lot of Christmas music playing decorations . And then a tropical Santa. I love that.
But yeah, definitely all the resorts. Lots of good ones. The lodge itself,
I love the wilderness side , the tree in the wilderness lodge. And then they always have like the fire going when you're in there in the rocking during the day, they have the coffee bar inside. Um,
no they changed that because on a coffee bar anymore. That was only temporary.
They don't serve coffee there too . They do. They do coffee, crazy coffee there during the day at a territory lounge during the day. Yes, you can get that. And uh , and then roaring forks has like the cupcakes. Um, but yeah, that's like super fun. Hot chocolate. You can go sit out by Geyser point
and the cold and it's just so like woodsy out there. So as you feel so Northwestern. Yeah. Just what you said. So yeah. Alright , so resorts, everyone knows. Go. Anything else guys? Any other good holiday tips besides Mickey's very Merry Christmas party?
I have a really obvious one. I just wanted to talk about it.
I don't have to, we should give some love to Hollywood .
I like that . Was my list the best things for Christmas. I was going to Disney world . That's literally number two on my, my thing was going and watching the tower of terror do its light up and projection show. I love it. Christmas tree, the toy story projection is one of my favorites ever.
Okay. Yeah. They have Snope down sunset or is something Boulevard, is that the one? So if you can't get a ticket to Vegas , very Merry or you're don't want to go to the crazy crowd of magic kingdom, you can go have Snope [inaudible] studios
and it like, it's just on a loop like the show and the Snope is on like a loop, like the whole night.
Get there early and like get a good spot. Like you can just show up whenever and you're going to see the projection. Fantastic. And have lots of snow
and the photographers are good at taking pictures of people in front of it. And then also every year they, that's where they do at Fairfax on sunset or like the food. They do the hot chocolate Flay , which is like super, super indulgent. It's all really sweet. I can't, I know there's an alcoholic. Yeah . And I think there's a non alcoholic too. It's like a dark, a milk and a white chocolate. All hot chocolate flight. And like every year we post about it and the post, I was like amazing.
Cause everyone loves it. Um, so if you have a ticket, that's a really good one.
And also to go back to the resorts, we have to also recognize Epcot. Um , resorts , um , boardwalk , um , beach club yacht club has some really cool stuff. They have the gingerbread carousel. They have the little like tr like Holly , like, like Mickey town almost essentially like a holiday town, which is super cute. Your full tower is in there. It's really cute.
And a lot of the restaurants and like road names and this little town is named after like some iconic Disney things or people and whatever. It's really cute. That ones , that yacht club, I think in the carousels at beach club. Um,
and then boardwalk has like an exact replica of the boardwalk made of gingerbread, like minus jelly rolls . Unfortunately. Yeah . Jelly rolls isn't included in it. And last year it wasn't, Oh my God, it's because this , he doesn't own it. Yeah. Wow. A low co

brain blessed Masha [inaudible] that's my favorite one because it reminds me of the SNL skit. Um, anybody have any other good holiday things? Those are all my, I mean the cabins is pretty much my big one. Obviously very married , which I'm really excited about. Um, I will say we only have a few more things left here, but right now we're clocking into our shortest ever. Did anybody look at the , uh, the very Merry food article that came out today?
They just announced all the food for very, Mary , we can tie this into holiday. I just wanted to say a couple. There's a couple of really cool things that got announced so we can link the article down below to the very Merry food exclusive stuff. There is antler shaped breadsticks with a beer cheese dip that has bacon bits in it. Well, and it did some to me when I saw that pig foot he got, I dunno what I got try. Wow.

Love it. Um, so that one was really good. And then how about that waffle from sleepy hollow. Oh wait, that's good . I think that's gluten free. They'll hold off guy .
Yeah, we have all lost frozen hot chocolate cake. The main street bakery. We have the snowflake brownie available all day, I cases corner, which means you do not have to have a ticket to the very Merry party people. The snowflake brownie , um, the holiday Mickey cinnamon roll again. They'll go all day long. They added a cute little Santa hat this year. That's right .
Popular opinion possibly, but I have never enjoyed those. Cinnamon rolls them so much. They're enough.
Um , the Turkey sandwich party exclusive at cosmic gray . So you have to have the pardon .

Oh my God. The Christmas cookie milkshake does look amazing.
He's really good at anti-gravity . He's available all day long. I had a Mickey marshmallow straw.
Oh my God. There's a Sunday with cookie butter, soft serve with cream, chocolate sauce, sprinkles and a white chocolate piece. Oh my God. Cookie butter is my favorite flavor of anything. Jeremiah's has cookie butter flavor and it's my fave .
It's good cause you better. It's good.
I'll be honest, I don't think I'm trying that Turkey sandwich. Yeah,

Sand Angele and it's such a romantic atmosphere. The food and the Marge are delicious. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants to go with.
My hubby, Lex and I went last holiday season. Don't remember, I think it might've been our candlelight processional package. I, one thing I distinctly remember was leaving, having eaten way too much food. I remember I had an amazing chicken mole lay and I remember thinking, how did I wait my entire life to come to this restaurant? I went for the first time last year. It's so beautiful on side . It is so romantic.
The food is 12 out of 10, like seriously some of the best food in the world showcase. Um, I had heard some mixed reviews about it. Uh, I'm assuming maybe that was an older menu that was more boring food. All this food was very exciting. If you don't like exciting food, you might be better suited at the one across the way. I would say a lot of the food that we had was pretty for Mexican food. Semi adventurous. It's like a hazelnut Molay .
Um, but I loved it and said that was Katelyn F finger and I absolutely 100% spiritually understand you. Can I get one? I did it.
