Episode description

Greetings everyone. This week on the podcast, I had the pleasure of speaking with author, grappler, leader, and mental health advocate, Dan Joseph. This episode was very special to me, as we opened up and talked about living with anxiety. Dan shared stories about his experience in the Army, his experience in jiu-jitsu on the mats, and his experience as a leader, and he shared his reasons for writing the book Backpack to Rucksack: Insight Into Leadership And Resilience By Military Experts. With September being Suicide Awareness Month, having Dan speak on the topic of mental health and suicide awareness was a uniquely special conversation

Dan Joseph can be found online at @combatpsychology on Instagram and for a deeper look into his work, checkout the website below
