Holly Lamb (00:00.948)
Hello and welcome to this week's episode of the No Fucks Given podcast with me, your host Holly Lamb. This week I have a special guest. I'm joined by Alexia, also known as Eternal Essence, who is a divine life coach, shematic healer. No, shamanic healer. Bloody hell, I knew that. I'll have to start again. Shamanic. I knew, why did I say that? I've even written it shamanic.
Alexia (00:21.087)
you
Alexia (00:25.135)
it's funny.
Holly Lamb (00:30.558)
Right, it's fine. Okay. Usually I get it first tape, but not this time. Okay. We're ready. Okay. This week I'm joined by Alexia, also known as Eternal Essence, who is a divine life coach, shamanic healer and ecstatic dance facilitator. And I'm really excited to have her on the podcast. Welcome Alexia, how are you today?
Alexia (00:35.558)
It's fine.
Alexia (00:55.921)
I'm amazing, thank you. Thank you for that lovely introduction. How are you?
Holly Lamb (01:00.762)
I'm fabulous. Thank you for asking. I'm really good. Yeah. I'm in my summer and I'm vibing and I'm woo. I'm good. I'm good. Good time to do a podcast when you're in your summer energy.
Alexia (01:02.308)
Yeah. Yeah.
Alexia (01:12.857)
Yes, and I love listening to your stuff about that, the menstrual cycles and all the different, the autumn, the winter, the summer, the spring, all that different stuff is amazing. Absolutely amazing.
Holly Lamb (01:22.776)
thank you. Thank you so much. Well, I'd love to get to know you a bit more and how you got into all the amazing things that you do now.
Alexia (01:32.722)
okay, do you want me to just fire off?
Holly Lamb (01:35.762)
Yeah, just go for it, just deep dive, let's go.
Alexia (01:38.611)
Okay, so originally and what I've been doing for the past 30 years is youth and community work. So I have been working with children and families to help them grow and evolve and become the best versions of themselves. So I'm a mental health practitioner before I was a spiritual coach, but it all kind of leads into that. So I have a company called Our Time Youth Agency and we run mental health workshops in schools.
We also do multi-sports camps and we run summer camps and Easter camps as well. Generally hitting the economic and deprived areas. So we work with children and families that are claiming benefits, they can't afford to pay to go to, you know, these old lacrosse sort of like after school clubs and all the different ones you have to pay loads for. Our offer is always free. So we do target that sort of community.
Holly Lamb (02:22.814)
Yeah.
Alexia (02:32.829)
Off the back of that, I created Move To Improve, which is now the Ecstatic Dance brand, but originally Move To Improve was a mental health workshop that I ran in schools. So originally I would go into the schools, I would teach dance for maybe 30 minutes, 45 minutes, and then we'd do a mental health workshop around anxiety, low mood, confidence, self-esteem, all them different sorts of vibes. I kind of decided to move and transition into the spiritual.
world, we'll say, into the spiritual world and coaching and all this stuff. Off the back of my awakening, which was about 12 years ago now, I went to see a divine goddess called Claire Stone. She's an angelic priestess. I went to see her. She realigned my chakras and changed my whole vibration and my whole world.
So I've been deep diving into angelic work, working with the Archaea, which is the female archangels. Not a lot of people know that every archangel has a twin flame. So I work with the Archaea, which is the females. And I started working with them, probably got my qualification maybe eight years ago now, qualification, remembering, whatever we want to call it. And then started deep diving into doing the spiritual work and the coaching.
Holly Lamb (03:23.187)
Wow.
Holly Lamb (03:46.345)
where.
Alexia (03:50.751)
So the Divine Life coaching comes off the back of kind of lockdown and 2020 energy when a lot of people were in disarray, didn't know whether they were coming or going, living in a very fear-based world. And I started working with different women around raising their vibration and also doing the healing work with the RKR. So bringing the RKR into sessions that I was running that would help realign their vibrations. It would help with their mindset.
It would also help realign their chakra systems, which is our energy centers throughout our bodies. And yeah, it kind of all just started to explode from there. So then Move To Improve kind of came in and I thought, you know, well, actually I was in America and I did an ecstatic dance class about four years ago and in Egypt, wasn't in America, sorry, I was in Egypt.
And I did an ecstatic, sorry, I've done that much traveling over the last few years. don't even know whether I'm coming or going, but I did an ecstatic dance class and I thought, wait, I've been a dance teacher for 30, 40 years now. I need to incorporate the healing and the dancing and I have this amazing brand move to improve. So I started looking into how that would work and started, I did a qualification in it or a remembering, whatever we want to call it and launched that 12 months ago.
Holly Lamb (04:45.012)
And there you are.
Holly Lamb (05:07.636)
Mm.
Alexia (05:11.241)
So Move To Improve is now Move To Improve your spiritual, physical and mental health through dance and movement. And I've delivered that. It will be four countries next month, which I'm so grateful for in the last 12 months. Four countries, over 200 women by now that I've worked with. I do small group classes, big group classes, raves, whatever we want to call them. And also one-to-ones as well about somatic movement and breath work and that sort of thing. So when it's on a one-to-one, it's very much.
more personal level. So yeah, so the divine, yeah, I don't know what else to say. I'm just like, brrrr.
Holly Lamb (05:48.324)
Fine, go, go, go. I love it. I love listening to what people have done and what people are doing. It's just amazing what you're doing.
Alexia (05:55.749)
Yeah, so the divine life coaching has now evolved off the back of me having a shamanic healing session two and a half years ago with a beautiful woman called Francesca Raffa and in that session she asked me what I wanted to create and I said out of all the pain there's got to be some sort of purpose right there's got and I'm sure there's a book about that but there's got to be some sort of reason why I've been through everything that I've been through that's brought me here to this now.
You know, and I decided, well, the word came through in that session, the happiness guide. And she was like, my God, that's an amazing like title for a book or whatever it is. And I was like, no, it needs to be a guide to bring women back to self, bring them back to their happy self without all the labels, even the labels of mom, wife, job roles, all these carers, all these different labels that we carry around with ourselves. Who are we when we strip them back?
Holly Lamb (06:31.348)
Mm.
Alexia (06:53.257)
So I created the happiness guide, which I launched three months ago now. I've been amazed and so honored to have six clients so far. Already sold out two of the spaces that start in November. I'm looking for another four amazing women. But what I've done is I've tailored it and kind of curated it out of my lived experiences. So all the different things that I've been through, which include my daughter leaving home, which was one of the most.
Holly Lamb (07:15.23)
Hmm.
Alexia (07:21.215)
crippling, devastating things I've ever been through in my life. I've created this guide that takes you back to yourself. So it brings you back to the happiness that you had before all these other things happened. So it is kind of aimed at empty nesters, we call ourselves. So aimed at women that have had very tight relationships with their children, whether that be the son, whether that be the daughter.
Holly Lamb (07:38.526)
Mm-hmm.
Alexia (07:45.607)
and how it has now transpired with them leaving home, how they feel, which is normally absolutely broken. Some people see it as a win. They're like, yeah, the kids have moved out. Let's go, let's go traveling around the world. Let's do this. For me, it was one of the darkest times I've ever been through. I didn't know who I was without being Bailey's mum. I didn't know who I was without having to be home at a certain time, having to cook dinner, having to do the school run, all these different things.
Holly Lamb (07:52.488)
Mm-hmm.
Holly Lamb (08:09.78)
Hmm.
Alexia (08:15.017)
Sorry, there's a gardener, I don't know if you can hear that outside, he's right outside my window with a blooming, tall, stripper. Hopefully he stops in a second, because that's so distracting. Sorry, I'll have to cut that bit out. But yeah, I didn't know who I was without her anymore. And it nearly broke me. In fact, it did break me. I was on my knees. I remember laying in my kitchen on the floor, just sobbing for hours and hours.
Holly Lamb (08:15.411)
Yeah.
Holly Lamb (08:19.54)
Don't worry.
Holly Lamb (08:25.62)
Don't worry.
Holly Lamb (08:36.809)
Yeah.
Alexia (08:44.467)
basically saying, take me, I don't want to be here anymore. And it wasn't about me being, about me committing suicide or anything, although some of them moments did feel like that. It was about take this pain away from me. And I feel that I had the biggest spiritual awakening in that moment. I felt like my whole soul left my body. I was looking down on myself and I was like, it's okay, we're going to get through this and we're going to do that.
Holly Lamb (08:57.684)
Mm-hmm.
Alexia (09:12.147)
by this, this, this and this. And that's the steps that I've put in my guide. Everything that helped me back to being the person that I am now, which is so different to how I was a year ago, like so, so different, is what I've put in that guide and what I wanna guide women back to being, is their happy self before everything imploded, you know? It's a hard one when your children leave home. It really, really is.
Holly Lamb (09:26.835)
Yeah.
Holly Lamb (09:35.028)
you
Holly Lamb (09:40.477)
Yeah.
Alexia (09:41.297)
It was definitely one of my most breaking moments, definitely.
Holly Lamb (09:44.648)
Yeah, yeah, but then out of it has come something amazing. So like the law of polarity, we have to experience the deep depths to then know how good the highs are. And then you've created this amazing guide that's going to help women go through that process or similar sorts of things in order to come back to themselves, which is so beautiful and also quite relevant.
Alexia (10:06.664)
Yes.
Holly Lamb (10:10.554)
in regards to the like menopause space as well, because you can kind of feel like you've lost yourself. And this could be an amazing guide to help women get back to themselves in that stage of life as well.
Alexia (10:16.927)
Mm-hmm.
Alexia (10:21.789)
Yes, there is a bit of menopause work in there, because I've been in my perimenopause now for about six years, definitely coming out the other side, been one period this year. And I'm like, yes, could this be the year? Could this be the year? Like, please, no more, no more. I'm really welcoming it with open arms, but I've definitely been through it. I can't remember how many side effects I've had, how many, you know, to the restless legs, to the brain fog.
Holly Lamb (10:28.85)
Yeah.
Holly Lamb (10:34.171)
you
Alexia (10:50.303)
to the random smells, like I can smell things and I'll be like, can you smell that burning? And whoever I'm in the work, they'll be like, there's nothing on. And I'm like, no, no, no, someone's burning. I'll have to run in the kitchen and see. And I'll be like, like all this phantom stuff that goes on in your head. You feel like you're going crazy. It is insane, isn't it? So there is a little bit about that in the happiness guide. It's how to guide yourself through those moments of feeling like you've lost your mind when actually you haven't.
Holly Lamb (10:50.59)
Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Holly Lamb (11:15.54)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Alexia (11:19.079)
You haven't lost your mind. It is normal what you're feeling and it will pass.
Holly Lamb (11:23.442)
Yeah, it does, yeah. It's just having the tools to be able to move through some of those more difficult, challenging symptoms that come up. I mean, what kind of things were you using in order to help you move through them?
Alexia (11:39.615)
So breath work, yoga and dance have been my thing as well as, so I've never taken HRT. I'm a very, very natural person and I don't trust the pharmaceutical companies. So there's no way you're getting that shit in my body. Like absolutely not. Like no way on this earth. I've read so much stuff about it. People can make their own choices about it, but for me it's not, it's not for me.
So I started looking into different things that'll give me the calcium, that'll help with the estrogen, all these different things that our bodies lack. Cacao has been a lifesaver for me. Might have put on a little bit of belly weight because of it, because it's very rich. Although it's not unhealthy, I have it with oat milk and that is really bulking and fattening. So that's where my downfall is. But I have it with ashwaganga, have it with meringue, I have it with turmeric, have a little pinch of sea salt.
Holly Lamb (12:19.454)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Holly Lamb (12:32.434)
Yeah.
Alexia (12:33.767)
and then a little drizzle of honey or agave, whatever it is that I have to hand. And that for me has stopped the night sweats, it's helped with the brain fog. The random smells keep happening, don't know when they're gonna stop, but there's just certain things like my sleep, because it's got high levels of magnesium in it as well. My sleep is so much better unless it's a full moon, and then I don't sleep. But that has nothing to do with the menopause, that has to do with the astrology, isn't it? but yeah.
Holly Lamb (12:46.419)
Yeah.
Holly Lamb (12:54.227)
That is great.
Holly Lamb (12:59.988)
you
Alexia (13:01.215)
That has helped me massively like that. Is it like body weight training, which yoga, I do hot yoga three times a week, sweating all them toxins out of my body seems to really, really help and then building that strength with myself. Like I found going to the gym and I know that you're a gym bunny and you look amazing for it, like absolutely amazing. But for me, it was getting to the point where...
Holly Lamb (13:05.576)
Mmm.
Holly Lamb (13:14.311)
Mm-hmm.
Mm.
Holly Lamb (13:24.818)
Thank you.
Alexia (13:28.127)
I was getting shin splints from jumping about too much. And mean, I'm 50 next year, so I've got a lot of, I've got a few years on you, Holly. And for me, it's not about hitting the gym and going wild anymore. That was tiring me out. It wasn't having a good effect on my body. It was actually tiring me out. And I was getting sore legs and you know, that's probably a lot to do with the menopause as well. And you know, with the lack of estrogen and all these different things that go on in your body. But yeah, it just wasn't.
Holly Lamb (13:31.389)
Mm-hmm.
Holly Lamb (13:39.376)
Mm-hmm. Yep.
Holly Lamb (13:46.228)
Mm-hmm.
Holly Lamb (13:50.984)
Mm-hmm.
Alexia (13:57.085)
wasn't for me pounding in the gym, but it wasn't for me anymore. So I decided to take on yoga and I've been doing yoga now for two years and it's probably one of the best decisions I ever made. Every time I move somewhere else, no matter what country I'm in, what city I'm in, because I travel a lot, I have to find a yoga studio. I've probably been to about different yoga studios this year alone, all over the world.
Holly Lamb (14:00.147)
Yeah.
Holly Lamb (14:15.465)
Yeah.
Holly Lamb (14:20.365)
Wow. Yeah, it's again, it's finding what works for you. As long as you're doing some kind of resistance based training. mean, weights is always going to be like the gold standard, but if it's not for you, then some kind of resistance training like the Pilates or yoga or something like that is going to help to keep the muscle that you already have. And yeah, totally agree. A lot of women just, it isn't for them. So yeah, finding what works for you and making sure that you're comfortable and happy.
is the most important thing because then you'll continue to do it because if you don't enjoy it you're not going to do it and then you don't do it consistently so it's just a waste of time so yeah yoga is for the win 100 %
Alexia (14:58.046)
Yeah.
Alexia (15:01.885)
Yeah, I felt like I was having to drag myself to the gym and it just, like you say, it just wasn't enjoyable. It really wasn't enjoyable. So it just had to go. had to go. Another thing that I did as well, but I've stopped, but only because I can't, I've not found anywhere yet, is boxer size. So I love boxing. I'm a boxer size coach. did it, I did my training for that about 10 years ago. So it is something that's close to my heart and I was doing it when I was working at our multi-sports camps.
Holly Lamb (15:05.456)
And no.
Holly Lamb (15:10.919)
Yeah.
Holly Lamb (15:16.742)
Nice. Yes. Yeah, me too.
Yeah.
Alexia (15:28.063)
So was doing it every single week, teaching it to kids and whatnot, but I don't work face to face on them camps. I have an amazing tribe now that run everything for me down south. So for me, it's finding the right space to be able to do that. And it's very male dominated, isn't it? It's very masculine energy. So I need to find somewhere that's got a bit of feminine in there. Otherwise you walk out there and you're like, can't move.
Holly Lamb (15:28.19)
Mm-hmm.
Holly Lamb (15:40.82)
Mmm.
Holly Lamb (15:45.268)
Yeah!
Holly Lamb (15:49.796)
I know, yeah, I went to a boxing gym and it was very male. I mean, there was a lot of women there, but it was very male dominated and it was a different vibe to when I went to one with a female teacher and it was not that it wasn't any less strenuous. It was just a different kind of atmosphere and a different, it's not as competitive. It was more, you're there for the enjoyment, which is what I love about boxer size.
And yeah, finding the right teacher with anything, like I've had yoga teachers over the years where I'm like, don't really click with this person. So you have to find the right facilitator as well as the right environment. And then again, that's going to make you want to go consistently again and again. And I mean, obviously you do ecstatic dance as well. So I'd love to talk more about that because I love dancing. I used to do ballet, tap and modern till the age of 10.
Alexia (16:31.453)
Yes, definitely agree.
Alexia (16:37.417)
Yes.
Alexia (16:43.677)
Woohoo! Nice!
Holly Lamb (16:44.596)
I loved it, but I've not got back into like proper dancing since I tried and then I had a whole incident with my foot and needed an operation. So we, no, no. So, but I do, I enjoy dancing. I do something called Shake the Dust with my yoga teacher, Sally. She's amazing. It's really, really fun, but I'd love to dive more into like the ecstatic dance and how that kind of facilitates healing and emotional release.
Alexia (17:13.479)
Yeah, yeah. Well, mine, I call it a transformational dance journey because it's a little bit different to how I've experienced it at other places and maybe how you've experienced it in the past. So at the places where I've done it, it's been trance music and maybe, you know, a bit of jungle music to really, and there's no vocal stuff in it. You're just in your own zone. You're moving, you're shaking, you're doing all these different things. With mine, mine's to old school house music and garage music.
Holly Lamb (17:41.598)
Yes.
Alexia (17:42.335)
And we do a lot of vocal activations through it because I feel that by releasing through your throat chakra is a very divine feminine thing that we must do. We must speak our truths. We've been pushed down for too long in this patriotic society that we have to. So the music that I use is things like Rosella, Everybody's Free, Shine On, Degrees in Motion, all these different ones where you're like, shine on, let the light.
love grows strong enough and you're just like you're just in a vibe and you're moving so that's the vocal activation part of it plus you're singing it to yourself so I encourage at the start I'll say you might have sang this to the boys back in the day or to your ex-boyfriend or your ex-girlfriend or whatever but this ain't about them now this is about you so I want to imagine that you've got a mirror in front of yourself and you're singing it to yourself in that mirror
Holly Lamb (18:17.94)
I it.
Holly Lamb (18:39.028)
you
Alexia (18:41.575)
And that then helps with your confidence and your self-esteem. So you're watching yourself, you're glowing, you're singing this music, you know, I've been waiting such a long time in the shadows for someone just like you. You know, but it's you, we're talking about you. We're not talking about him or her back in the day because we've been waiting for ourselves. So I use music that empowers the feminine in us. So whether it's a man doing it or whatever, it's empowering that.
Holly Lamb (18:58.676)
What?
Alexia (19:11.113)
feminine. So for me, that is allowing that energy to move around your body. Plus we do a lot of shaking and a lot of dancing. So I'll encourage you to throw it up to father sky. You're releasing that energy. You're letting it go through your fingertips, which is, you know, a form of somatic work as well, because you're doing all this shaking, you're moving and it's moving the trauma around your body. you know, energy can get stagnant within your body as you know, Holly.
Holly Lamb (19:16.904)
Yeah.
Alexia (19:38.079)
and we can get stuck in that and it can cause disease within our bodies when we do that. You know, if the stress factors are in there, the trauma, the inner child, all these different things that we cling onto, actually through dance and movement, you can let all that go. It's just such a freeing thing. I don't know if you're aware that they did this massive study, one of the universities, I think it might've been Harvard or somewhere like that. And dancing was pinned above every other thing you can think of.
Holly Lamb (19:38.163)
Yeah.
Alexia (20:07.913)
for your mental health. Everything. It trumps everything. Because when you're dancing, you are releasing. The happy endorphins are like brrrr
Holly Lamb (20:09.737)
Yeah.
Holly Lamb (20:23.604)
Yeah, never.
Wow, yeah.
Alexia (20:35.167)
and you are literally exuding happiness. And it just takes you to a place and a space that's just bliss. It's just absolute bliss. So for me using that type of music, it's also invoking their memories, their memories. So like when I play certain songs, I'll be like, my God, do you remember when we was in that club back in the day? we're like, ooh, ooh, I'm like raving, like getting up there, dancing, like, my gosh.
Holly Lamb (20:59.014)
Yay!
Alexia (21:03.559)
I really do pick music that will make you want to get up. So even if you're feeling a little bit like, I don't really think I can do this, wait till my playlist comes on. You can't sit still. You can't sit down. You will be up on your feet dancing. Plus I am a mad hype girl. I used to do it. I used to do MCing back in the day. Used to do radio shows and everything. Yeah, that's a past lifetime. But,
Holly Lamb (21:06.205)
and
Holly Lamb (21:21.758)
I know who you are!
Holly Lamb (21:26.643)
Yeah!
Alexia (21:30.759)
Yeah, I've been dancing. I've danced at Glastonbury twice. I've danced, I used to be one of the lead dancers at Bowlers, which is a massive big warehouse rave here in Manchester. I've danced in some pretty phenomenal spaces and places. I've danced on stage with Pharrell Williams, danced on stage with Craig David, like all these different, I've been a dancer for my whole life. So dancing for me is everything and it absolutely works. It works.
Holly Lamb (21:40.318)
Bye.
Wow.
Holly Lamb (21:48.222)
Amazing!
No.
Holly Lamb (21:56.956)
It does. my god, it does. I try and do a little five minute dance every morning just to get the energy moving just around my bedroom. Husband's like, are you okay? I'm like, yeah, I'm great. And then trying to get him involved as well. Like, come on. Like I'm starting to get him enjoying it. And like, even if he just stands there and does a little jig, but I'm like, you just feel so much better for it. Like dancing can heal so many things. Cause you just bringing that positive energy. And I mean, like you said, you've never
Alexia (22:11.378)
Yeah.
Holly Lamb (22:26.396)
had a dance class or been dancing and been like, this is crap. This is shit. feel like crap. just doesn't happen. No.
Alexia (22:31.301)
Exactly. No, no, it doesn't. It doesn't. And it is moving and releasing that stagnant energy within your body. You know, we were stomping our feet while we're doing it. At certain points, the music does get a little bit transient, bit Amazonian, I'm going to say. So not jungle music is in the genre of jungle. mean, like warrior music. So I do goddess activations, if it's a female class, where I will have you howling like an Amazonian goddess.
Holly Lamb (22:48.89)
Mmm, yeah.
Alexia (23:00.687)
I might say, right, embody your spirit animal. I might have you rolling around the floor thinking you're a tiger. I had someone do, they were like, my spirit animal's coming through as a whale. I was like, you better get on the floor then, ain't ya? You better get on the floor then, ain't ya? And start acting like a fucking whale. And she was, she was like this on the floor. But do know what? It worked for her. Like she might have, you know, I was about to say she might have looked a bit funny, but she didn't.
Holly Lamb (23:23.09)
Yeah, fuck it!
Alexia (23:27.263)
because it just blended into everyone else. had someone who was an elephant and they were like, running around. But I make sure that it's all fun, you know, and that's the thing, like with the music, with the stuff that we do, the activations that we do, the throat chakra activations, we do journaling, we do mindset, we do quantum leaps to our future selves in some of the workshops that we do. So you're visioning who you want to be. You're writing a letter to that version of you. So you're bringing them in.
Holly Lamb (23:36.148)
Yeah.
Alexia (23:56.243)
and then we always close with a meditation. So for me, it is ecstatic because it is ecstatic what we do, but it's more of a transformational dance journey.
Holly Lamb (24:00.308)
Wow.
Holly Lamb (24:06.738)
Yeah, that sounds amazing and if you aren't convinced already then I don't know what will. Because you need to go to one of Alexia's classes because they sound next level and I need to sign up to the next one 100 %!
Alexia (24:18.749)
Yeah, Manchester is coming. I'm viewing a place on Friday, so fingers crossed it's going to be the right space. I'm definitely going to be doing it soon.
Holly Lamb (24:22.888)
Yes. amazing. Yes. my God, yes. Yeah, I'll be there. 100 % first client there. Let's go. And I think this episode is gonna be best to be watched on YouTube rather than listened to because the energy that Alexia gives to everything is just like next level. So you need to see this in order to appreciate this. So.
Alexia (24:32.913)
Yes.
Holly Lamb (24:50.078)
Go and watch it on YouTube. Again, just listen now and then go and watch it on YouTube.
Alexia (24:53.919)
That's good, the screen we called some of it on Instagram as well.
Holly Lamb (24:59.058)
Yeah, definitely, definitely. it's so fun talking to you. Let's just keep going, because I'm loving this. You touched on before that you kind of had like this spiritual awakening, this like moment that's kind of brought you now to this place that you're in. And I'd love if you're open to just discuss that a bit more and what that kind of involved.
Alexia (25:02.801)
living.
Alexia (25:07.717)
That's cute!
Alexia (25:26.729)
Yeah, do you mean with 12 years ago or do mean last year when Beilu left home? Which one?
Holly Lamb (25:31.718)
No, 12th, yeah, the 12 years ago when this when this kind of whole thing started,
Alexia (25:35.261)
Yeah. So I was always a little bit spiritual, but just didn't recognise it. So I always kind of caught little flickers out the corner of my eyes, which now I just know were angels present in the room and stuff, you know. I'd always kind of have premonitions about things. So I'd like, for me, I'm very much like play movies in my head. But now I know that that's my subconscious, that's my higher self coming through. That's my intuition showing me things.
Holly Lamb (25:40.212)
Holly Lamb (25:47.859)
I hope.
Alexia (26:04.063)
I never realized that then and I was kind of walking around. I was a bit lost. I was a bit lost. I had a really successful business. You know, was making money, going on nice holidays, doing all these things, but there was just something missing and I was always looking for that. And me and my daughter had decided to emigrate. So we lived in a few different countries and we decided to emigrate to Canada. So I'd gone through my citizenship with that, passed with flying colors, because how can you not pass an English citizenship?
test like come on now. Anyway my niece said to me god I went to see this woman the other day called Claire Stone she works in the back of the hairdressers in Warrington and she realigned my chakras and I feel like she's changed my life like I don't know what happened but she was just absolutely amazing I was like I need a bit of that you know I dabbled in religion, Buddhism because I used live in Thailand so I dabbled in Buddhism which is probably the only religion
Holly Lamb (26:52.286)
Mm.
Holly Lamb (26:58.516)
So.
Alexia (27:00.767)
that I would ever attach myself to. I had to, if someone said, right, I'm literally gonna shoot you in the head if you don't choose a religion, it would be Buddhism. Because Buddhism is all about your internal, it's about you. It's about treating everything with the same respect, same respect as how you treat yourself. I try not to kill spiders and flies and things like that because they have a heartbeat too. They are living beings. And actually it's probably someone's soul incarnated into that. know.
Holly Lamb (27:18.032)
yeah.
Holly Lamb (27:24.232)
Yeah.
Alexia (27:29.695)
whatever, go there. But anyway, so with Buddhism, it teaches you how to be a proper empath and how to treat people with the same respect. So that would be the only one. So I dabbled in all these different ones anyway, booked this appointment to go and see Claire and I just bear in mind the whole Canada thing. So there was one last bit of the Canada trip that I had to do and it was going to cost me a certain amount of money. Didn't have that money at that time. And I was like, my God, a bit stressing, whatever.
Holly Lamb (27:37.236)
Hmm.
Alexia (27:58.793)
So anyway, gone to this appointment, drove to Warrington, got into the back of this hairdressers. And it's funny to even say that now, because this woman's famous now. Like, don't know if anyone listening has heard of Claire Stone. She does the Divine Arcane Jaws. Like, she is huge now. She chills with people like Rebecca Campbell and Kyle Gray. Like, she's up there with them lot. Like, she's massive. Anyway, back of the hairdressers, I goes in.
She lays me down, she puts me into a deep meditation and I remember lying there thinking, yeah, this is a bit woo woo, like what's gonna do? Like, I'm not gonna feel anything, nothing's gonna happen and then boom, was like, someone slapped me across my face and I couldn't move, I couldn't move off the bed. I was laying there and I was like, wait, I feel paralysed, like, this is a weird feeling and I could hear noises going on around me. She was obviously smudging me down, she was using a rattle at the time as well.
Holly Lamb (28:29.384)
Yeah.
Holly Lamb (28:38.152)
Wow.
Holly Lamb (28:51.326)
Mm-hmm.
Alexia (28:51.647)
And what I now know is that she was realigning my chakras. So she was going around my whole body and she was working with different areas of my body. And she got to my feet and she said, your roots are broken. You don't want to plant them back here. You need to move. And I'm thinking, Canada, Canada, like, does she know? Did Sharon tell her something? I knew she didn't. She didn't know me from Adam. Like she didn't know me at all. And then she's come back and she's at my solar plexus. And she said,
Holly Lamb (28:56.532)
Mm-hmm.
Holly Lamb (29:08.058)
Mmm.
Holly Lamb (29:13.491)
Yeah.
Alexia (29:21.203)
Your solar plexus is flaring red and orange. I have a message for you. And I'll never forget. It's like she kind of went... ..like this. And as she did it, she went, you've got to dance again. Which is very relatable to what we're doing now, but I'd actually just lost my dance company because I'd lost my business in Manchester. A whole different podcast, a whole different story.
Holly Lamb (29:35.796)
Wow.
Holly Lamb (29:44.338)
Mm.
Alexia (29:44.947)
I used to run a charity in Manchester that was highly successful. I had a dance company where my girls were smashing it, dancing all over the world, again, dancing on stage with some huge artists. And something had happened and we just had to shut it down. And I just cried, lay on that table, because I just thought, my God, this woman doesn't know me. And one, she's picked up about me moving and wanting to get out of there. And two, she's picked up about me really missing the dance. Dance was everything to me. I've danced since I could walk.
Holly Lamb (30:07.412)
Mm.
Alexia (30:14.047)
It has always been everything to me. And when I came round, she brought me out in the meditation. She was like, how did that feel? And I was like, I felt paralyzed. Like that just like, I felt like it just smacked me like in the head and just knocked me out type of thing. I just couldn't move. I couldn't do anything. And she was like, yeah, the messages were thick. They were really, really big. Like you can't stay here. And I was like, wow, okay. And she was like, and you have to dance again.
Holly Lamb (30:14.58)
Mmm.
Holly Lamb (30:37.684)
Wow.
Alexia (30:42.973)
You have to dance again, that is your calling. And actually, as I'm saying it to you now, Holly, I'm like, yeah, shit, she said this to me. I'm gonna ring her in a minute. Be like, I don't even need to, she follows everything I do, she's so supportive. Anyway, the Canada thing, bring that back in. I come home that night, it was a Friday, I'll never forget, it was a Friday. Felt like the weight had been lifted off my shoulders when I walked out there, felt like a different woman.
Holly Lamb (30:43.379)
Wow.
Holly Lamb (30:58.154)
aww
Hmm.
Alexia (31:09.535)
never had my chakras aligned before they were spinning they were out of control some of them were dead whatever like she totally aligned my whole energy that day gone to bed that night got up the next rise in and people sometimes are like really i swear this on my life right there was a letter on the doormat and i picked it up opened it and there was a check for 368 pounds which was three pounds more than the 365 pounds i needed
Holly Lamb (31:14.238)
Mm-hmm.
Alexia (31:38.921)
for this Canada thing that I needed to do. And do know what it was? It was one of them no win, no fee things. And I'd done it a year before about delayed flights. And I'd completely forgot about it. I got delayed a flight in Morocco the year before, like four hours at the airport. And it was for that. And it was three pounds more than the money that I needed to complete my citizenship. And I just thought that shit doesn't happen. Like it just...
Holly Lamb (31:41.466)
Wow.
Holly Lamb (31:58.448)
Wow.
Alexia (32:08.113)
It made me realise that spirit is in control of this, that the universe is in control. Like, I have no control over any of it. When you put your trust in the outer, if you put your trust in the unknown, shit like that happens. And we never ended up getting to Canada though, because I thought we needed 10 grand in my bank account, because you need a certain amount of money to do the citizenship and I needed 10 grand per person.
Holly Lamb (32:22.472)
Yeah, it does.
Holly Lamb (32:31.924)
Mm.
Alexia (32:37.567)
and I was taking my daughter with me. So they rejected me based on financial, which was a bit of a shit because I spent over a grand doing this citizenship and all these different tests and everything, but it was fine. It wasn't meant to be. And we actually found out three months later that my son was having a baby. So if I'd have moved to Canada, I wouldn't have been here for the birth of my first grandchild. So everything in alignment, everything in alignment. We did go travel in there for three months, which was incredible.
Holly Lamb (32:38.217)
wow.
Holly Lamb (32:59.38)
Wow.
Yeah, that is just amazing. And it does just go to show, you just have to put the trust in not everything that you can see, because if you do and you fully surrender, and this is the journey that I've been on as well, when you do fully surrender, detach from the outcome, just put that intention out into the universe, it does come in. It might not come in when you want, but it'll come in in divine timing.
Alexia (33:26.929)
Yeah. Yeah.
Yes. And I feel like it's an energetic thing as well because she realigned everything within me. She kind of took me to a space where my vibration was at the same level. So my vibe was attracting my tribe, as we say, and it brought that in for me. Like it absolutely brought it in for me. And some people will say, that was posted days before and it landed on your doorstep on the Saturday. But I don't care. I don't care what anyone says. I know that experience.
Holly Lamb (33:35.176)
Yes.
Holly Lamb (33:43.646)
Mm-hmm.
Holly Lamb (33:49.588)
mmm
Holly Lamb (33:57.415)
No.
Alexia (34:00.639)
changed my life. So would have been 2000, so Cassie was born in 13, so that would have been 2012, yeah, 12 years ago. And it just sent me on a trajectory that then I was like, I need to research more into this. So I started doing cards. She used to hold weekly fortnightly groups where you created intention boards and all these different things. I smashed it, I created an intention board, smashed everything on the list on the intention board, and it just grew and grew and grew and grew.
Holly Lamb (34:08.66)
Wow.
Alexia (34:29.983)
I ended up doing my Angelic Priestess diploma with her in 2019 into 2020. And then I ended up doing my level above that as well. So I did my level one and level two. So I'm proud to say that I'm now part of her Angelic Priestess, the sisterhood. And yeah, just working with the Archaea has changed my life as well. Like the female Archangels are very, very powerful.
Holly Lamb (34:45.812)
you
Alexia (34:54.695)
and they bring in some beautiful divine healing and spirit. It's wonderful. It is.
Holly Lamb (35:02.04)
It is so beautiful. And if someone was like listening to this thinking, okay, I wanna start maybe my spiritual kind of journey. I wanna kind of look to get into this kind of work. Where would be number one? Where would you start? If you were going back, where would you start with trying to bring a sense of more of spirituality into your life?
Alexia (35:26.239)
Well, I would say go and see Claire, but she probably charges about two and a half grand now for an appointment. So come and see me instead. Yeah. I would say to start there by dipping your toe into some spiritual practices. I do shamanic healing, which I, you know, I did my shamanic attunement a year ago now with a guy called Kapaldi, well, with a shaman, it's not a guy, sorry, he's a shaman called Kapaldi Silver.
Holly Lamb (35:32.82)
Yeah, come see you next year!
Alexia (35:54.481)
Again, rocked my world, changed my world. Being able to channel the divine masculine and the divine feminine, channeling that light, you can remove blockages, stagnant energy, soul retrievals. There's so many different levels to shamanic healing. But what I do is I mix it with my angelic priestess work. So alongside doing the shamanic healing, I'm calling in the archaer as well to do that healing while we're there. So you get kind of double the whammy as such.
Holly Lamb (35:57.332)
you
Holly Lamb (36:13.042)
Hmm.
Alexia (36:22.653)
So I would say to book a session with me. And if you can't get to me, book a session, dip your toe in some sorts of healing and spiritual work. Go to a sound bath, go to an ecstatic dance class, like dip your toe into different things. There's so many spiritual practices out there. Start meditating. You know, just give yourself a minute every rise in and just go within. Use music if you need to, use a guide if you need to.
Holly Lamb (36:33.915)
Mmm.
Holly Lamb (36:48.564)
Mm-hmm.
Alexia (36:51.679)
or just sit in silence, maybe do some journaling. There's just so many different things. mean, I do EFT tapping, which is emotional freedom technique, which is all about working with the meridian spots on your body, which helps move stress around your body. It also puts positive affirmations into you. So, there's just so many different things to do.
Holly Lamb (36:52.052)
Mm-hmm.
Holly Lamb (37:01.588)
Mm-mm.
Yeah.
Holly Lamb (37:13.737)
Yeah, it's just, it is so broad, but I think it's finding what resonates with you. And I would always start with our own inbuilt spiritual practice, which is our menstrual cycle, which you can practice every single day, every single month to connect you back to your body. And then you'll start connecting to your intuition. And then she will guide you to what you need to dip your toe into. And it's going to be Alexia.
Alexia (37:26.899)
Yeah.
Alexia (37:40.926)
Yes.
Holly Lamb (37:42.366)
Cause why not? Cause she's absolutely amazing. And I need to book a session with Alexia. So, amazing. So how, how would people find you, connect with you? And then if you just want to run through all the little bits and bobs that you've got going at the minute and how people can join in.
Alexia (37:48.883)
Yeah, more than that.
Alexia (38:02.323)
Okay, so my Instagram is I am eternalessence. So the reason I called my company that is based on my cousin who does quantum mindset coaching like elders who were part of her group. And he says that we are ever flowing energy. We are eternal essence. So eternal is ever never ending and essence is the vibration and it's just our purity within our souls.
Holly Lamb (38:21.906)
and
Alexia (38:28.371)
So that is what my whole company, my whole brand is named after. So you can find me on Instagram. My email is eternalessencehealing13. 13 is my divine vibration number. Absolutely love it. Everything is 13 for me. And at the moment, I've actually got 50 % offer for people that are in my group. So if you do want to find me on Instagram.
There's a link with my WhatsApp group in my bio. can click in there, drop into the group and you can access for the next, I don't know when this podcast is going out, but it starts on the 1010 portal. And then it's going to run for 10 days after that 50 % offers. So my shamanic healing, which would be one-to-one in person here in Manchester, or I do travel down South twice a month. So you can access it down South as well. I also do online healing.
And so we can do it on zoom, although I prefer in person, it's much more powerful in person. So I have 50 % offer. So normally that would be 75 pounds at the moment. It's 37 pounds 50. And that's for around an hour and an hour and a half with me where I will work with the vibrations of your body channeling, which is me going into an altered state for reality. So I'm accessing the ancestors, your guides, the spirit world.
whatever happens within that session. It's very powerful, but it's very much guided by you, even though you won't be saying anything, you'll just belay there, but it's guided by whatever comes through within that moment. I'll do chakra realignment, which again is working with the energy centers within your body. And then I'll bring the archaic in to do healing work on you as well. So that could work with the divine and feminine. So it's bringing in that beautiful feminine energies and
We can also work with the masculine because sometimes the archangels, they're like, excuse me, can we have a go please? And they'll come in. I use sound bowls, drums, rattles. So it's very much sound healing. It's whatever I'm called to do within that moment. And then for the end of that, you get a card reading. So an angelic card reading at the end, which then will bring through messages for you. And you generally get messages throughout the session as well. So at the minute that's 50 % off.
Alexia (40:40.735)
And then you've got my ecstatic dance, which at the moment, the only thing I have booked, which is definite, is in Morocco next month. So I've got a retreat in Morocco that's going to be absolutely off the chain. It's going to be amazing, called the Golden Touch. And I'm visiting a place on Friday, hopefully, and that's going to be in Eccles in Manchester. So hopefully that's going to be the perfect venue. Going to put on an ecstatic dance class. So that's usually between 15 and 20 pounds per person.
Holly Lamb (40:47.41)
Yes.
Alexia (41:09.177)
And it's about an hour and a half, two hours. So it's a proper vibe. We do a bit of cacao while we're there. Or maybe I'll bring in Blue Lotus. We dance, we meditate, we journal, we do mindset, we do vocal activations. Lots of stuff goes on with that. And then we have the happiness guide, which is my divine life coaching. And that's on a 50 % offer at the minute. So yeah, drop, drop in the group, get on Instagram, drop in the group. There's no spam. There's no millions of messages. I've actually got it closed.
Holly Lamb (41:30.772)
I know.
Yeah.
Holly Lamb (41:37.779)
No, I'm in the group. Yeah.
Alexia (41:39.399)
Yeah, so it's just admin. I just post in there every couple of days. Maybe I share a video in there, maybe a bit of astrology. I'm not an astrologist, but I just take advice from people that I listen to, drop stuff in there. But it's not one of them WhatsApp groups. It's just pinging off and you go in, you've got 350 messages. I can't cope with those. yeah. So yeah, so I am eternalessence on Instagram and everything, you can access everything from there. I'm on TikTok, but I'm just learning how to use that.
Holly Lamb (41:56.414)
Yeah, no me neither.
Holly Lamb (42:03.582)
Mm-hmm.
Holly Lamb (42:09.022)
Yeah, TikToks a lot. I don't get it. I post, I don't get it.
Alexia (42:09.375)
bit of a minefield to be fair.
Alexia (42:14.599)
No, me neither. I had like over thousand views and not one follow and I'm like, how does this even work? Like why are people not following me? But yeah, Instagram is my platform.
Holly Lamb (42:18.321)
Yeah.
Holly Lamb (42:21.756)
Hello.
Yeah, yeah, definitely. think TikTok's more younger doom scrolling generation to be quite honest.
Alexia (42:31.185)
Yeah, and that's why you get so many views because as soon as you scroll past it, you get a view, right? I think that's how it works. I don't know. I'm good on Instagram. I'm an Instagram queen and that's where that's my platform for sure.
Holly Lamb (42:33.746)
Yeah. Yeah. I think so. Who knows?
Holly Lamb (42:43.892)
Well, that's been utterly amazing. And if anybody wants to book in with Alexia, I will pop everything in the show notes so that you can connect with her and book a session. And I'm going to book a session in right now because I need one and it sounds amazing and we're not far from each other. So it's great. Well, thank you. Thank you so much for joining me. It's been amazing. And yeah, I'll pop everything. Yeah.
Alexia (43:03.423)
Yes, love that kind of thing.
Alexia (43:10.303)
Thank you for inviting me on. You're part of my manifestation, because one of the things that I did on the Summer Solstice was to ask for more podcasts and more lives. And I did, I've done about three lives in the last two months, and this is my third podcast. So absolutely blessed and so grateful for you inviting me on and sharing me with your audience.
Holly Lamb (43:21.309)
What?
Holly Lamb (43:26.612)
amazing.
you're so welcome. Yeah, you're so welcome. Thank you so much and thanks everybody for listening and I'll see you guys all next week.
