Host Dr Michelle Gibbsmrsmummyphd.com

This podcast is for Mamas like you, who are doing PhDs and juggling all the things. Here, we're changing the narrative from overwhelmed to enough!

As a Mama of three boys who juggled scholarly life (i.e. grad school, PhD life), a healthcare professional career, and holding it down at home, host Dr Michelle Gibbs fully understands how challenging this journey can be.

But as driven and ambitious as we may think we are, we know full well that academic life doesn't happen in a vacuum. It's a difficult, complex journey full of 'ups, downs and all arounds' in which we can easily lose ourselves under the pressure of it all.

So on this podcast, Michelle shares valuable tips and insights to help you finish well because she believes it's time we replaced the guilt and burden of overwork, overachievement, and perfectionism with joy, grace and purpose!

If you are a Mama on an academic journey who is wearing many hats and trying to blend your marriage, family, career, and scholarly worlds, then this space is for you!

Michelle is on a mission to help Mamas on scholarly journeys, like you, to blend family, work and doctoral study without losing yourself in the process. She wants to help you reach your life and academic goals without sacrificing what matters, with practical tips and insights to help you transform your juggle-struggle into purposeful journeys of becoming, reclaim our scholarly joy and create purposeful success!
