In today's episode, I got to sit down with local mom, Treva Ellison. Treva is the Vice President and Executive Director for West Texas Dancing Raiderettes. She co-founded the non-profit because she is passionate about dance and helping inner-city girls reach their goals. WTDR helps mold productive citizens while impacting the lives of others through youth outreach, health, wellness, and the dance styles of Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, and Majorette Dancing. Treva also wrote an adaptation of Cinderella called The Tale of Cyndi, and the young ladies of West Texas Dancing Raiderettes will get to showcase the production this weekend at Lubbock Community Theatre.
