Episode description

Did you know your child's symptoms of ADHD are drastically affected by their various nutrient levels? Do you know the power that eating has on your child's health? Do you know what nutrient deficiencies to look for and why?

Today we are focusing exclusively on our kiddos (although what we are talking about can definitely affect adults in your family too!)…today we are talking about ADHD – Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. ADHD is the most commonly diagnosed neurodevelopmental disorder in the United States, with estimates that 11% of American children have the disorder.

Sooo, chances are, you either have someone in your house that has ADHD or you know someone who does. If you know someone who does, you are definitely going to want to share this episode with them…this is golden info I am sharing today. It could be life changing for them.

I’m not going into the symptoms or anything like that…today we are talking about the 5 most common nutrient deficiencies in children that have ADHD. There are all kinds of studies out there backing up all the info I am sharing today…we just got off a series about superfoods and all the many important nutrients they give us…those minerals and nutrients are really important…and when our bodies do not have the right amount of various vitamins and minerals, they don’t function optimally.

My hope is that it will become your first reaction to think abut what imbalances could be in the body and look to correct that, rather than look to medicine first. And this goes for whatever the ailment or sickness may be. I’m curious, have you even heard of this? Have you heard about nutrient deficiencies either being the cause of or contributing to worse symptoms of ADHD?

If not, then listen up…because here we go!
