Cody Carroll joins us this week to talk about his recent elk hunt with his son in Colorado. Cody shares his experience in the mountains of Colorado, comparing and contrasting the difference between a backcountry hunt and cold weather operations versus operating as a Reconnaissance Marine in combat operations and training. The team talks about lessons learned through their experience as Snipers and how it translates over to their hunting style. Cody breaks down critical points of his hunt from the perspective as a father instead of a Reconnaissance Platoon Commander.
