Episode description

As always, thank-you to you all for the love and support that you have all shown both me and the podcast. I am extremely grateful, and it means more than you know that each one of you is helping to increase awareness and remove the stigma associated with mental health. May is mental health awareness month, so it's important that we all do our part in helping mental health become normalized and provide support for those who need it. This episode is a solo one where i discuss depression, a serious mental illness that affects many people especially with the current state of the world with the pandemic. I explain my experience with depression, how it began, how it impacted me and my actions, as well as how it caused a great deal of strain on many of the close relationships in my life. I realized after several months that i needed to get help in order to deal with it and get it under control. I dive into the steps i took to get help and the things i did that helped me/still help me currently when i am feeling depressed or feeling down. Depression is a mental illness that many people suffer with in silence and i hope that this episode and me sharing my experience helps those who are dealing with it. Once again thank-you for listening, please share this, the more people it reaches the more we can continue the mission to increase awareness and remove the negative stigma. Take care of yourselves !
