Episode 27 : Giving Gratitude

As Thanksgiving approaches we hear from two amazing guests that deserve all the gratitude! The owners of the Angel K Love Project join Jen this week for a beautiful conversation.

After some major "divine intervention" in 2013, Amy and Michelle became best friends, then business partners, and soon after they fell in love and got married. Their mutual calling to help kids in need took them on a travel research journey around the world and back again. To their surprise, they landed in Hendersonville, NC where their dream finally came to fruition on a 7.5-acre farmstead that they personally purchased. The name of their 501(c)3 nonprofit organization is called the Angel K Love Project.

Their mission is to support children’s mental health and wellness through animals and nature. These projects include Animal Centered Therapy (with horses, pigs and goats), Horticulture Therapy, Goat Yoga (with pigs too), and Mindfulness. They have big goals to add more inclusive projects that support struggling kids who need holistic healing, especially the LGBTQIA+ youth, BIPOC youth, and kids who suffer from special needs or mental health challenges.
