Episode description

Shania and Evita sit down with writer-director Karen Maine ("Obvious Child" and "Yes, God, Yes") to talk about her journey into filmmaking as well as her experience with her just-released directorial debut of "Yes, God, Yes" a dramedy that follows the Catholic teenage girl Alice (played by Natalia Dyer from "Stranger Things") as she discovers masturbation and struggles to suppress her new urges in the face of eternal damnation. We also get into how to direct semi-autobiographies, and how Covid-19 has affected indie filmmaking.
