One O oneco Orlando's rock station one O one one w JR. Are you have a little more than fifteen minutes to throw a vote in for you? Say? We play it brought you by Fairwin's Credit Union this morning on the JR Facebook page. Might have a shot at winning some Metallica tickets for the show tomorrow night. Just tell us which Pearl Jams song you want to hear. You're truly a Corduroy, why go or animal? We'll want
the most votes. We'll go ahead and play back play back at nine and then one of you will be randomly picked to win Metallica tickets to be there at Raymond James Stadium tomorrow night with j A R R j r R Facebook page. That's real vote. You know, here in this country, we obviously get fascinated over a high profile and or Diddy case. For example right now, the Karen Reid case that's going on right now. Yeah, all over TV and news following this in the tabloids
Casey Anthony. It's been dozens and dozens, not hundreds, over the years. But you know, worldwide this is a phenomenon as well. There's one of those going on in Australia right now. It's called the mushroom murder trial. We talked about this case when the woman was first arrested a while back.
What they like tainted mushrooms or something.
She is accused of. Woman is Aaron Patterson. She's accused of, well, basically killing her in laws with poisonous mushrooms and hiding them in a meal that she had prepared for them to come over.
And I thought, you men hiding the in laws in a meal?
No, no, she she used mushrooms. What it was the deadly ones, poisonous and they are no longer with us. Why is she still around even though she ate the meal? Or so she claims. That's just one of the parts of this. She claims she unknowingly had done this because she likes to forage for mushrooms on her own totally
and had added some of the mushrooms. This this is the testimony that's we come to light so far, added some of those mushrooms that she had personally foraged for to some store bought ones and then you know, used all those in whatever dish this was she prepared for the in laws that were invited over, and.
She just happened to get all the good ones we get, or as she said, knew something was wrong and she forced herself to vomit afterwards when grew up, and that's why she's still alive. In the the in laws are all dead, and now lawyer Bob pops in.
You're ready and your owner.
The reason why she was able to realize this and get sick is because the in laws are obviously older, so.
They're more fragile than her.
She they would die first, they perished, and she well, man, I should.
Have ran for law or something, been a lawyer.
I uh yeah, and thankful that perhaps you did not choose that career path. On a personal level, we wouldn't be doing this show if you had. On a more of a realistic and practical level, not quite sure your law firm would be flourishing.
Hell would at least be. We'd be just solving stuff. I'm telling you, that's our slogan.
And you know what, we would probably be doing this radio show together because I'd be the lawyer that would come in on the show. Really yeah, we'd have some weird cross paths down the road.
That's like surreal first second, isn't it? Kind of like row ad.
Yeah, hold onto that thought for a minute, Taco Bob, So her trial continue here, trial continues. It'll be interesting to see where this whole thing wraps up. Toxic fu fun guy Taco.
Should have called her mushroom. The mushroom, Madam, damn. M laws are dead.
Now. This is fantastic. You know, we always living here in Florida, especially Central Florida, a lot of stories about bears and bear encounters, and we're used to that. At this point.
We talked about yesterday the bear going in and eating all your cheese.
This bear taking things to a new level. This over in the Naples area. After going for a swim in the gulf, a Florida black bear was then spot. It was off to a nearby condo that was under construction to take a nap in the lobby.
Wonderful retired bear we have here.
We spend the day at the beach, swimming in the gulf, and then back to the condo for a little afternoon nap.
Taco beautiful whispers video.
I saw some of the video of him in the golf and then there was I saw some still pictures of him asleep, dead, asleep in the lobby of the Hondo under construction, Florida Fish and Wildlife relocated the bear to an area that wasn't as close to the populated area.
All that swimming really wears you out.
It's not like what my cousins are in Alaska, you know, catching salmon. They can do that all day. I'm a Florida relaxed bear, you know, I'm like a silver hair bear.
In there over there on those pristine white sand beaches of the other side of the state, getting where there's sand dolls, sand dollars, Uh huh, digging those up.
Look at this.
Rolling my little bear frisbees.
He's like, yeah, I'm a silver hair came down here to Florida to retire, somebody said.
Somebody said, the law firm of B.
W and L. Taco Bob, did you realize what turns thirty years old this year?
They're so you know the answer.
I've given you the tease here several times.
Oh Tommy Boy, I'm sorry to great legal mind.
It's thirtieth anniversary this year. What better way to celebrate thirty years since Tommy Boy than with Tommy Boy Fest set none other than the location that was the site of Tommy Boy in the movie Sandusky, Ohio. We've got to broadcast from that. It's it's gonna be on a weekend, isn't it. Well, it did's coming up. It's gonna be August. Where's the dates here? I have the date on this. It's in August.
It's probably the same weekend as the sold out off Shore Fiasco with Our Luck.
Seventh through the ninth in Sandusky, Ohio, where the movie was set. Director Peter Sigau will be there, along with the actual car from the movie. However, obviously Chris Farley won't be able to make it, and David Spade hasn't been booked either, So what the hell of the director in the car talk? Well, there's a great amusement park there. Yeah, but I'm not amused.
I want to see I want to be in the Tommy Boy party and people hitting each other in the face with boards, people asking for wing ees, people jerk into the lady in the pool. I mean, come on, there's a lot you're missing. The boat here. Get David Spade on the horn, now, Dad.
Why didn't you want to have at least him walked in before you promoted this thing? Although I guess they are cutting it close. If they're actually trying to nail the anniversary. I guess August is the anniversary proper to make sense for the thirtieth celebration, and they don't have them in. At some point they okay, we're past the deadline. We're gonna have to announce this thing. Are we going with this or not?
Yeh?
Look Firefest part seven they're doing theirs. So actually another it's surfaced again.
Actually there's an update on that.
I know it's surfaced again. Now they're doing it in like a place.
It's some dude who owns a private island resort. Yeah, and it's now been reduced to what's going to be, uh like just several hundred people with an experience for a weekend. It's a it's a thinly veiled marketing ploy for his it's a load of vacation rental place. Yeah, listen, don't go. I think it's like fifteen dollars you can stay. It is all of a sudden, the price is just uh you know, really, if I saw one of the hotel accommodations started at one hundred and twenty nine.
Dollars a night, why would you ever you know what, I'm not even gonna I'm not even gonna say that anymore. You want to go ahead and have fun.
I think Tommy Boyfest and Sandusky would be a better option, with activities including movie screenings, live music, a classic car show look alike contest, and a Tommy Want Wingy throwdown.
They really do have tell me what Lingy? Yes, that was what I mentioned.
I want boards hit in the face and Temmy want Wingy and him selling right. You can pull the bull, I can pull them whatever out of there, but I can't pull a steak out of it.
I forget the pitch on, but it was good. Start checking flights. Can you fly directly into Sandusky or do you gotta go into like a Saturday Canton or.
You'd have to work on a Saturday and Sunday. That would be our weekend Sandusky. I think I'll talk to the boss. Somebody has said fat guy in Little cod Orlando's rock station, no matter
