Episode description

Jacob Jones is African American and native to Boston. He has a Bachelor or Arts in Christian Ministries with a concentration in Urban Ministry. He is currently pursuing his Masters of Divinity and is a fellow of the ISBCE program at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary in South Hamilton, Massachusetts. He is a co author of At Twelve: Stories and Reflections of Black Christian Men and he was a co-facilitator of Come to the Table, a program at Gordon College that creates a safe place for students to engage in topics about racism in America. Jacob served with Unite Boston for about two years, a Christian organization that promotes unity within Christian community, including different denominations and traditions. He formerly served as a youth leader and in children's ministry at his local church. Jacob seeks to work in urban areas and has a passion to see Christians connect and function in a unified community on a global scale.
